Hi Ruby , well it's another wet and miserable day in Manchester. Granny is poorly with another bad migraine, mummy sent her back to bed and is worried about her, she'll go and check on here later, shes leaving her to sleep for abit now. We enjoyed a nice and quiet weekend, the sun was out yesterday but it was still very chilly. Jinx ws abit better on her walkies yesterday, but still quite nervous, poor thing, we had cooked chicken for tea last night, we all waited and watched patiently as mummy demolished the carcus for us yummy, and none of us lifted our heads out of the bowl until it was all gone yummy, we saved some for our doggysnaps friends, so enjoy :) love Dinky, Jinx and Frankie xxxxxx
ps. please would you vote for Jinx as LOTM :) xxx
Hi ya, hope alls well there with you and your not getting too scared by the fireworks. Mum has done a flyer for Lal ,l.b.kennel,at Puglia pooches could you post a copy in your local shops or works,To see if we can get more people interested in her work with stray and abandoned dogs. if you would like a copy PM mum your e-mail ( which she will delete as soon as she forwards your copy). Thankyou so much if you can help. Leaving a pair of fluffy earmuffs and a juicy steak. Xxx Owen and Aunty Marie.xx
Hi Ruby, sorry we haven't written for a while, we went to our Labrador rescue party and had great fun, Jack won a rosette for coming 3rd in the most handsome dog event (lucky boy). PS. we have added some more photos hope you like them. Sausages and chips today xxx
Hi Ruby, NOT THE BEST 24 HOURS. First of all Max did a “fish fart”, unfortunately he was sitting on my lap at the time. Owners of older dogs will probably know about fish farts, owners of younger dogs have a treat in store. I am not articulate enough to describe the noxious lingering pong that results. Then on our walk Sarika came back lame, by the looks of things she got a stone caught in her paw, no cuts but bruises. While I was sorting her out I noticed that Purdey had trailed some mud on the floor. I picked it up and sniffed it....WHY DID I DO THAT? WHY DID I PICK IT UP? WHY ON EARTH DID I SNIFF IT? It is fair to say that I now regret picking it up and, very particularly, sniffing it. The little darling had obviously walked in what she normally rolls in, deer poo I think. I very nearly joined my clothes in the washing machine. So indeed NOT THE BEST 24 HOURS and now there is the next 24 to look forward to, OH DEAR. Today the girls are sending over some spare kisses and Max is sending a cork and a nose clip. PS Despite being well snogged Tommy didn’t turn into a prince, perhaps because he is a toad rather than a frog? But at least he has a smile on his face now! x
Hi Ruby how are you today? the dogs are feeling very happy today as they have been invited to a party next month by Labrador Rescue where Jack and Bally both came from, hope they behave. Spinach pie today xxx
Hi Ruby, some people say that you shouldn’t NAME and SHAME unpleasant behaviour on DoggySnaps. Well, I am going to make an exception to the rule because, quite frankly, enough is enough........The NAME is.....PURDEY...............THE SHAME is.....FOX POO. Now I guess that some people probably think I exaggerate Purdey’s prideliction for recycled animal dinners.....well, this time the gorgeous little sod has got her comeuppance because I took a photograph of her in her fox poo finery and I have put it in her kennel for all her friends and supporters to see. Serves her right. The clean and fragrant ones, Princessliness Sarika and His Baldiness, are dropping off virtual photos of themselves.....”unpooed” they said somewhat smugly! Have fun x PS New new computer still working, PHEW.
Hi, mum says I smell of wet dog, well what does she think I'll smell of I've just been for a walk in the rain, does she think I'll smell of flowers or something hee hee, well the baby rabbits are still ok, they eat all the food mum put out yesterday so me & mum put out some more, we are not doing much today as its so wet, dads popping out for a little while (going to the bank) then hes coming back home to play, there is 1 good thing about this rain dad & mum have been at home & I get dad all day, well going to check on my babies again, leaving you a full english breakfast, Laddy
Hi Ruby, how are you today, not done much today just keep playing in & out of the garden, can't wait til next week as my dad is off all week, he said if the weather is good we are going away for a few days, then when we come back we are getting the baby rabbit, plenty of rabbit poo to roll in hee hee, mum wasn't to happy with me yesterday as I found a very muddy puddle in the garden, so I played in it & got covered in lots of mud then ran in the house, all those muddy paw prints all over the kitchen & dining room floor hee hee, I also jumped up on the window ledge & my stair gates & covered them in mud, mum was rotten as she wouldn't let me in the front room to play until I dried off, leaving you fish fingers, Laddy
