Goodmorning Benjie and family. So another week begins, and I’ve got coats and towels at the ready as it looks as though it’s going to be a chilly and damp week here. Can’t believe that last week we had the doors open and was outside diggin up bones and generally helping Mum in the garden. Hope you all have a fantastic week there whatever your up to. Leaving a pot of beef stew and dumplings. xx Love to all Owen and the gang. xxx.

Hello Benjie and Happy slightly belated Easter! We hope you are well. We are all fine, if a little chilly! (The silly humans let the heating oil run out!) We are leaving you a dog chocolate Easter egg as a treat. Love Buster and Taz.

Hello Benjie! We hope you had a very Happy Christmas, with lots of fun and treats! We did, although Taz thought some of the human presents were a bit scary! Namely the racing pens, harmonica and singing cat! Oh! and the weasel ball! We are still eating our way through our Christmas treats now! That meany Heidi wouldn't let us eat them all at once! We get very excited when we go down the field last thing at night, as there is usually a fox out there! Heidi says walking Taz at that time of night (she has to stay on a lead, incase she jumps the fence and disappears into the darkness after the fox!) is like walking a meercat, as she walks on her hind legs to try and get a better view of the fox! I am far too sensible to behave in such a silly fashion! Although I must confess I was in Heidi's mums bad books this afternoon. I grabbed a box of "people" biscuits and made a hole in the box. She said they were for a present. I hoped that meant a present for me, but it didn't! They were for some people around the lane. We delivered them on our walk this afternoon and they didn't seem to mind about the hole! I guess it made them more special, as I'd autographed them! Shame I didn't get as far as the biscuits themselves though. I would have enjoyed testing them! Hope you enjoy the treat we've left. Love Buster and Taz.

Hello again! Gosh! Your experience with Benjie in the canal must have been VERY scary! I'm lucky as our stream, where Buster swims has nice, gently sloping banks! I took Buster and Taz out into the garden, in the frost the other morning, to try to take some photo's for some "special" Christmas cards! We have a crab apple tree with a large bunch of mistletoe on it, in our front garden. So I tried to photograph them sitting under the mistletoe, holding a stripey sock (fairly stocking like!) each! It was very tricky, as Buster was overcome by the excitement of actually being given a sock, so he wriggled off! When he returned, Taz dropped hers! I did manage to get one or two photo's of them both holding something (in the end I had to resort to giving Taz a different stocking!, one that had previously held chocolates, with a plastic boot inside it) and a few cheating ones with Taz's stripey stocking tucked into her collar! We had a lovely muddy walk yesterday and as a result I spent the whole evening removing mud from Busters paws! I think I could have filled a flower pot with all the mud he had collected! I hope Benjie is well and that he enjoys his virtual treat of tinned salmon! Heidi, Buster and Taz!

Hello there! I trust Benjie has been behaving himself and that he hasn't helped himself to any more Galaxy bars! Buster continues to think of ways to scrounge food. Unfortunately the other day he fished an envelope out of the bin (to try to swap for food) that I had emptied the mini-Hoover into! So the dust ended up all over the floor again! Ooops! I must remember to empty it into the big bin sack in the garage in the future! A few days later he brought me the whole bin as an excahnge item! He got VERY excited today, as one of his nephews joined us at dog class. It took him a while to settle down, which surprised everyone, as they are so used to him being very laid back! He passed his Kennel Club Silver Award the other week (they didn't do that when he went to classes in his younger days) so he and his nephew are both aiming for their Gold Award now. Taz our young Collie passed her Bronze. She is a bit embarrased as I've just got her a fluorescent pink coat for the dark evenings/wet days! (I don't expect my dad will put it on when she does the sheep!) Buster has a yellow one, so we should be visable from a mile away! The weather must have been milder over the last few days, as Buster has taken up swimming in the stream again! Is Benjie a keen swimmer? Have fun and I hope Benjie enjoys his virtual treat! Heidi :)

Hi there! Nice to hear from you! Buster is definately still acting like a youngster, even though he is not as fast/agile as he used to be! I have started adding "Forever Freedom" Aloe Vera with Chondroitin and Glucosomine to his food and he wears a Bioflow magnet thing on his collar. That seems to have helped speed him up a bit! He often thinks of funny things to do to make us laugh. He goes out to collect the post from the postman, to earn a treat in the morning. So if he feels hungry later on in the day, he raids the bin for an old envelope or something and brings it to us, as if to say, "The postmans been again! Where's my treat?!" When we've been out and about with Buster, quite a few people have asked if he is a Munsterlander, including one local Munsterlander breeder who has shown her dogs at Crufts! Buster is currently stretched out on his new Armadillo magnetic bed, snoring gently! What sort of things does Benjie like to get up to? Heidi :)
