Flash, at least you have a happy ending to your cruel start to life. Molly is very aloof with strangers even after 3 and a half years but she just loves us. Have a treat from our gang and come and visit. xxx

Hello lovely boy - I am so pleased you have found a worthy mum and dad. Why do we poor greyhounds have to suffer and dislike and fear humans before we (if we are the lucky ones) find a family to be patient with us until we can learn to love them back. Love to you and your family from Muttley XXXXX PLEASE GIVE A GREYHOUND A HOME - THEY ARE SO WORTH IT!!!

Hi Flash - sounds like we have a lot in common... On the bed is my very favourite place and it took me 6 months to realise that I had finally come home. My owner thinks she rescued me, but it was actually the other way round... Mandy the Mongrel x

Aw what a charcter you look Flash! A familiar sight in our house, a greyhound stealing the bed. Enjoy a treat from us, Todd, Breagha and Rosey, and maybe come visit us sometime? x

Thank God for people like your humans, Flash. Know that if they are willing to wait for so long to see you wag your tail they are giving you unconditional love. There are good people in the world. I wish you had never met had the bad ones. Be happy, you deserve it. cc Cleo and Mom

You are lovely Flash. My Jessica (greyhound) had been in a dog sanctuary for two years before I rescued her. It took her about 6 months to wag her tail too. It is really a wonderful moment when that happens and I understand why your Mum cried. After that, she didn't stop wagging and we had 10 wonderful years together. I wish the same joy for you Flash. Here is a tasty treat for you. xxx PS Visit Jessica if you have time.

Hi Flash, Alfie here, I totally understand you, I'm a bit of a similar case, and have been badly treated before my current owners came and picked me up from a dog rescue centre some 400 miles away from their home. It took me about 7 months to be able to accept strangers, but I've gotten much more confident now, although sometimes, I still pull away when people want to stroke me. Anyway, don't worry, with a lot of care, attention, affection and plenty of time, you should get better. I see that you're already much better any way, so, thumbs up, for us, those who have suffered, and hopefully, all those bad people out there will one day get what they deserve... have a treat on me and me pall Charlie (he's another rescue).., ;o)
