Hiya meg hope you all had a good xmas and new yr !! i have just been on my holidays wit mommy well we say holidays we spent a week with nanny and grandad in birmingham buti had some lovely walks and got on very well with my nanny and grandad's dog. Mommy has found me a couple of dog shows to go to but not till the summer so in the mean time i have been lookin for squirells on my walks but i have hurt my paw so i'm being very good and letting mommy put a bandage on it to stop me bitting it and making it sore !! Glad you are all well Here is some cheese for you :) Love sol and mommy xxx

HI meg how are you ?? it was good to meet you and your family at the my pet stop xmas fun day i really enjoyed myself but was sooo tired after it !! mom was pleased how i behaved and has promised to take me to more shows so i can practice my socialisation !!!

Hi Meg and your mum!!! Harvey has been diagnosed with Horners Syndrome. It is the same as Bells Palsy in humans! His left eye and side of face has drooped considerably and the pink second eyelid is covering his eye. We noticed it on Wednesday night at took him to the vet on Thursday. Apparently it is common on older golden retrievers. The vet is not overly concerned and doesn't want to see Harvey again but it could take up to four months for him to fully recover! He doesn't know there is anything wrong with him as he is in no pain, it's just us, looking at him, that knows there is anything wrong. He looks so sad, the way his face is, but he is still eating, drinking and playing normally which is a good thing. The vet said it is caused by a "traumatic injury" or an undiagnosed ear infection, and he thinks this is the cause for Harvey. I feel terrible thinking that he had a poorly ear and we didn't know, but the vet was lovely and told us not to blame ourselves. Take care and thanks for your concern about Harveys eye. Meg, It was great to hear from you, I have been really busy taking care of my mommy. She had an operation on her knee and I have been right by her side. Thanks for the treats too. Mommy is doing much better now so maybe I can get out a little bit more. Huggs from both of us. I am sending you a bit of raost with potatoes and carrots. MMMMMMMMmmm. Molly

(boo did i scare you he,he) im back,sorry its taken so long im settling in to the new house ok even went to my puppy class on tuesday night though i pretended i was shy(well dont want them thinking im full of beans do i?)got you some nice vegetable soup and a french roll with apple crumble for afters will come back soon and let you know how the new house is take care luv and woofs *xxxrosiexxx*

hi meg i am sooooooooo wet i need a spin in the washer LOL i have been on frog watch for my mom shes frightened and wont take me out when its wet so my dad has to do the night walk cos hes not scared been in most of the day so i am bouncing off the walls tonight LOL that will teach them to keep me in love ernie x xx x x

good afternoon Meg, i am on house patrol on Fridays my mom works ALL day and i am left all alone (the ulimate power!!) i watch TV eat drink and somtimes pee LOL but i have to guard the house so they have to put up with the odd puddle here and there LOL i am on frog patrol aswell as my mom is terrifed of them so when we are out walking i have to go upfront and nose them out of the way you should hear her scream what a baby LOL i am at present in the middle of getting a good hug and belly rub, guilt is such a power trip TeeHee see you soon love ernie ps left you blueberry cheese cake and double cream hang the calories x x x x x
