Hi Holly, so the walk went really well. The wind was blowing a gale and seemed to have dried up most of the tracks, despite the recent torrential rain. There were some nasty filthy puddles where the muddy water was black but otherwise all was great. My gorgeous Purdey (I absolutely adore her really) was a darling, a paragon of virtue, a simply well behaved girlie, no noxious things were subjected to her backstroke, no none at all, it was a MIRACLE really. And as for the Princessliness, well Sarika was as always “mad as a box of frogs”, full of beans and fun. She always sticks close to me on our walks unless there is a leaf, moth, butterfly, JUMBO JET etc to chase. Wonderful. So I bent down to give them both a kiss (yes, I know I am a soppy old sod) and was immediately engulfed in girlie gundogs. Their paws were round my neck, they were in my arms, everywhere, and I got subjected to the treatment, licks and kisses. I love those moments, they are so very precious.......I am not sure when I remembered that they both had spent a bit of very recent time in one of those “nasty filthy puddles” previously mentioned. Was it before or after I noticed the condition of my clothes? Suffice to say that Max is currently watching the washing machine do its thing. AND THAT BEGS THE QUESTION..is watching it hypnotising him, it is on so often, so he is not really asleep he is actually in a trance? Hmmmmmm. I wonder how you tell. AND FINALLY...A man went to into an hardware store and picked up a can of fly spray. "Is this good for wasps?" he asked the assistant. "No, it kills them" was the reply.

Hi Holly, NEWS FLASH....NEWS FLASH.....NEWS FLASH..... ANOTHER SHOCK HORROR AWE FILLED SENSATION. People of Berkshire in the United of Kingdoms have been stunned by the incredible news from the davidmh kennel. Her Princessliness Sarika ....... a member of The Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla Royal Household, she of the ”butter wouldn’t melt” expression, she of the human eyes and the perfumed botty burps, the Laydee of the Month of Lurve, also known as Her Gorgeousness and, by Purdey, as Miss Goody Twoshoes............ has disgraced herself. On a walk this morning she did a Purdey, SHE ROLLED IN SOMETHING UNMENTIONABLE AND VERY SMELLY. Her human slave (now on tranquillisers) and the incorrigible one, the Poomonster, looked on in complete bewilderment. The sleeping dobes has yet to express an opinion. TV news crews from the Doggy Channel are on site and the Ambulance Service are administering to many stunned passers-by. What next?!!!! Will Sarika become the Poomonster? Will Purdey give up her title willingly? Will Max wake up? A bottle of pop and a fillet steak for you while we are waiting for answers to these fundamental questions. x

Angus is back!! Hello.. well, Daddy came back on Saturday and I made a big fuss of him. He bought me a rugby ball. I put a hole in it now..hehehe.. The other good news is that I found the ram’s horn and it is in Daddy’s car at the moment. How are you all? Hope you are fine. The weather has been nice, so I’ve been able to go out, and Daddy gave me 3 walks on Saturday..I think he missed me too. Leaving you some Coconut cake.. thanks for looking after the kennel! PS I got sussed.. the nice neighbours next door told daddy that I have been pinching pears that have fallen from their tree. I ate one in front of them all on Sunday.. they laughed!!

I am going to be staying at Bertie's house. It will give me chance to see if they have the rams horn around there. Please don't forget to keep an eye on my kennel when i'm away, I don't want squatters in my kennel!! Thanks mates.. Keep me up with the news.. Leaving you a big bag of chicken pieces, it will keep you going till i come back.. bye for now.. Angus xx

Good afternoon.. what a nice day today is. Blue sky and sunshine. A quiet one though, had one walk, one to come later. Last night Bertie stayed in the evening as his daddy went to the theatre. I ate my dinner just as I saw him arrive.. (spooky that, isn’t it?) and then daddy gave us a few chips that we shared. Then we had a snooze and Bertie snored.. He woke up when his daddy arrived to collect him. Have a great day, hope its as nice there. Here’s some chips with tomato sauce.. and for you Americans – that is French fries, not crisps..

Hi there, Angus here again. It’s quiet here, not much to report. Lulu and I had a great time at the party yesterday, so it’s a quiet day today. I still have my rams horn, and I have forgotten about the pine cones, much to daddy’s relief. Leaving you with a friendly woof and a piece of lemon drizzle cake..mmmm Love Angus xx

Hi there. It’s been a dry weekend, and even sunny! So I have been able to play in the garden a lot more. Last night daddy took me for a walk on the beach and I found a real treasure.. part of a ram’s horn. Well, I picked it up and I wouldn’t let any other dogs get near it.. I didn’t mind them wanting to say hello to me or having a sniff, but the minute they went near my new bone, I gave them a GRRRR, and they knew to back off. Neither daddy nor I had ever seen one on the beach before, but some people told daddy that sometimes they get washed up from Wales. Daddy washed it for me when I got home and I gnawed it all evening. Daddy said it keeps me quiet. I have also been chewing it this morning. Today is cloudier but still dry at the moment. Here’s some Steak and Ale Pie as a treat… not the ram’s horn, that’s mine..hehehehe Love Angus xxx

How has your day been...? It has been warm here today with a blue sky.. a rare event these days. Other than my 2 walks, I spent most of the day in the garden. But daddy has been so mean to me.. it isnt fair. At the end of the garden we have 2 pine trees, and I love to chew on a juicy pine cone. Well, I found a nice one and smuggled it into the living room and as i started to chew on it, daddy discovered it and took it from me and threw it into the garden. I spent most of the day trying to smuggle it past him, but most of the time i dont get past the kitchen. A few times I noticed he was busy so i tiptoed past him with it concealed in my mouth but he knows when I am quiet and he came and found me. So I had to give in, eventually, and chew it to pieces in the garden.. Lets see what Sunday brings.. leaving you a pine cone and a banana sandwich (I know, but the banana sandwich is daddies idea, not mine) hope your weather is as nice.. Love Angus xxx

hi holly, how are you well today my dad got me up early it was 6 a clock i was happly snoring in my bed .he got my lead and took me out for a walk we got to the field and dad let me off the lead run off like that again, i saw a squrell so i was off chasing it, and dad run after me but he couldn't catch me, i love it when we chase squirells together, then the squirell ran up a tree making a chattering noise, i think it was laughing at me, finally dad caught up huffing and puffing, and said dont run off like that again, but we are dogs we always run that fast, we got back from the walk, dad put me in the car so we were off to pick mum up from work, who works nights (poor mummy) we got to where she works, she was late coming out as usual, then dad said theres mummy and let me out of the car, i ran over to her and jumped asll over her, mum and her work collegues made a big fuss of me, then off home, oce we got home mum went to bed for a couple of hours, so i played with my dad, when it was time to wake mum up, dad opened the bedroom door and said wake mummy up, so i jumped from the door to the bed and landed on her, she went oooffffff, me and dad thought it was funny, mum didn't, well i am to get ready to meet max in the time machine, todays treat is mincemeat casserole, wags and woofs shadow
