Hi Trudie, some people say that you shouldn’t NAME and SHAME unpleasant behaviour on DoggySnaps. Well, I am going to make an exception to the rule because, quite frankly, enough is enough........The NAME is.....PURDEY...............THE SHAME is.....FOX POO. Now I guess that some people probably think I exaggerate Purdey’s prideliction for recycled animal dinners.....well, this time the gorgeous little sod has got her comeuppance because I took a photograph of her in her fox poo finery and I have put it in her kennel for all her friends and supporters to see. Serves her right. The clean and fragrant ones, Princessliness Sarika and His Baldiness, are dropping off virtual photos of themselves.....”unpooed” they said somewhat smugly! Have fun x PS New new computer still working, PHEW.

Hi Trudie, how are you? My birthday celebrations continue, how lucky I was to be three weeks premature, my liver and I could be very tired by what should have been my real birthday in mid August. It is a lot of fun though!!!! I took the girlie gundogs to the Gamefair at Blenheim yesterday. They were much admired and Purdey even met some of her Slovak relatives. The funniest thing was watching her make friends with a water buffalo, I have never seen a dog stretch its neck so long while in "ready to flee because I am not actually sure what it is " position. She ended up licking the buffalo's ear. Sarika was above it all...buffalo, horses, eagles, ferrets etc etc..they are not humans (her favourites) so hardly worth a princess's interest. Max, as befits one of his age, stayed at home and slept. Today, apart from our best wishes of course, we are delivering a water buffalo's dropping, mainly because we don't know what else to do with it...it is rather large and, as yet, unrolled-in, the Poomonster still being "not too sure". Have fun x.

Hi Trudie, is it me or, at the moment, does every new month on DoggySnaps seems to bring some new sadness? So today no funnies from the strange world of Davidmh, we are simply visiting as we wanted to say hello and also to send a virtual cuddle to all our friends x

Hi trudie, there was a large beetle in the house. Well this was meant to be HOORAY it is good news (and a piece of sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce) but now it is HOORAY it is good news (and a piece of sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce).............. and OH NO it is bad news. The good news is that the enormous beetle has gone. The tape of Heather Mills worked like a dream, it frightened the living daylights out the beetle which was last seen heading for Heathrow, almost closely followed by us lot, the tape WAS very scary. So we were all very pleased and kissing and cuddling AND then we saw THE SPIDER! I wouldn't say the spider is big but think about the size of a saucer (a proper saucer not one of those poncy demitasse numbers) and add a bit, quite a LARGE bit. We tried the Lady McCartney tape and the Mick Jagger photograph and it was not moved, in fact it didn't move at all. What do we do now, we are all very hungry and in various stages of crossleggedness back behind this bloody sofa? If you cannot get David Attenborough at the very least is there any chance of a bucket, ideally empty?!!!!!!!! x

Hi Trudie, our gorgeous Purdey the Poomonster is TWO years old today, a grown up lady now. Sarika and Max are therefore dropping off some birthday cake and a bottle of pop for you. Enjoy x

Hi Trudie, in haste today because we are about to have a walk along the Thames to Sonning. The walk will no doubt feature some gundogs swimming and hopefully will also help me to improve my tan. As a very special treat the girls and dobes are sending over a dish of that most prized delicacy, apparently, the canine equivalent of caviar.....that's right.....RABBIT POO. I cannot believe how much of it the girls eat - the poor local rabbits are having to "work" (I somehow doubt that "work" is the right word there) overtime just to meet the demand. It is probably why they (the rabbits) are having so many babies....more poo suppliers?. As it looks a bit like "chocolate raisins" perhaps I should offer some to some humans to see how yummy it really is? As I sense another "weird" moment coming on I shall now shut up! Toodle Pip (or should that be POOdle tip!) x

Hi Trudie, the work on the doggies only ark has stopped!!! Not because of workers industrial action (when I say workers I use the term very loosely as I, of course, refer to Sarika, Purdey, Maxwell and me and Maxwell is asleep and the other three of us are pretty useless at ark building!), not because of poor pay or long hours or union policy. Nope, work has stopped on HDS (His David's Ship) WOOF because the sun has come out. It is dry and warm and long may it remain so. Following various incidents featuring my fingers and thumbs, the hammer and me, I am sure that I heard a sigh of relief from the aforementioned digits (those that remain) when we decided to down tools. As a result, today the girlies and dobes are delivering some Soltan factor 25 sun lotion, a knotted handkerchief (also known as my sunhat) and my hammer (because it will be safer if you look after it). Have fun x

Hi Trudie, I have had some BRILLIANT NEWS, well, actually, to be accurate, I have had some NO BRILLIANT NEWS or, more precisely, some BRILLIANT NO NEWS. Confused? Well how do you think I feel because I make this up as I go - and it is only the third sentence!!!! Hey Ho. Anyway, when the Olympics was awarded to London for 2012, I came up with an excellent plan. In my garden is the kid's old sand pit. So I wrote to Lord Coe and offered the use of the sandpit for one of the most important Olympic events, the lady's beach volleyball competition, you know the one with beautiful girls and bikinis. And the BRILLIANT NO NEWS, well I haven't heard anything yet which means that they haven't turned me down. I reckon I must be on the shortlist, if not perhaps already selected. The letter might be in the post!!! On the other hand, I suppose there is a remote possibilty that my offer might have been consigned to the waste paper bin, they might have thought that I was some sort of nutter....moi....a nutter....what do you think? Hmmmmmmm, perhaps not! For some bizarre reason the girls and dobes are today delivering a bucket of wishful thinking and a request for any spare straitjackets. Have fun x. PS I am definitely going to have to go and lie down now in a moment...I think I have finally gone mad!!!

Hi Trudie, Well, I did a very naughty thing last night! I bit my Mummy on the face and she was so upset she cried :( Oh! Trudie, she don't like me now :( I got locked in the kitchen all night on my own and I tried to make friends with her and she just ignored me!!! I think she pulled my hair by accident and I've been so ratty lately I snapped her! She said it was very painful and it was bleeding! Oh! what have I done??? How will she ever love me again??? I'm bit sad :( Leaving you some tissues so that you can cry for me!!!! Love Lassie xoxo

Hi Trudie, THE GOOD NEWS, it is DDDD65 (David's Dreadful Diet Day 65) and yesterday was weigh day...guess what, 1 stone 2 lb gone now. I am very chuffed because I did scoff a lot of really yummy stuff at the wedding on Saturday. I guess that the excess has gone because it has got jolly cold here and I have exercised and shivered it off. Turning off the central heating and keeping all the windows open was clearly one of my better ideas although I am not convinced that Mrs Davidmh agrees, it is the first time she has ever had a bath while wearing gloves and a hat!!! Ho Ho (only joking but what a very good idea...Hmmmmm...!). And now the doggies: well, they are all blooming, the girls are getting plenty of exercise and Max is slowly increasing his awake hours. THE UGH NEWS, speaking of Max, he had an "accident" of the "dumping" type in the kitchen yesterday; guess who cleared it up? It wasn't him, it wasn't me or the begloved and behatted wife and, of course, it wasn't the princessliness Sarika. Purdey cleared it up, if you know what I mean! As a result the Poomonster will not be kissing me in the near future! THE TREAT NEWS, I made a thai red prawn curry for Mrs Davidmh yesterday and there is some left over so the girls and doberdog are dropping that off with some sticky rice. Enjoy x
