Hi Alfie, it is so hot here today we are lazing in the garden and will go out later when it cools down, mum told us about Fluffy and she and us are all very sad, mum says it makes us think about our friends and how life is too short to argue or fall out,so today we are thinking about you our friend, leaving you a bowl of strawberries and icecream, love Tara and gang xxxxxxxx
Hi Alfie, we found a huge beetle a few days ago. Today its father has turned up! We are currently hiding behind the sofa - two brave gundogs, dobes and me - hoping it doesn't spot us. Please send help. To encourage/bribe you we are enclosing some more of my yummy homemade fudge. PS as some say that Rolling Stones are better than Beatles, could you send a Rolling Stone because it might work with beetles too. HELP.
Hi Alfie, our gorgeous Purdey the Poomonster is TWO years old today, a grown up lady now. Sarika and Max are therefore dropping off some birthday cake and a bottle of pop for you. Enjoy x
Hi Alfie, well that was a fun couple of days, weatherwise. If you like paddling, swimming, snorkelling, diving, windsurfing, fishing, jet and water-skiing and sailing then my back garden was the place to be this weekend, we had so much rain. It is also the first time I have actually considered wearing my fishing chest waders for dog walking - what a picture that would have been, fortunately for all concerned the thought of being seen dissuaded me! Anyway, at the moment, it is not raining so the girls and dobes are dropping off a spare photograph of the sun (no, not the newspaper, that big yellow thing that is meant to be in the sky round here), some broken biscuit cake (because I made one yesterday) and my fishing chest waders (because the dogs, like me, don't want to be seen out with me if I am wearing them!!!). Have fun x
hay there how are you? what the weather been like were you stay mine has been sunny and hot Maggie was a very notty girl yesterday she wasn't behaving for mum i think it was because bob was out on a long walk with mum without her the day before she got put in the pen herself so she no that she not the boss lol left you some doggy treats hope you behaved better than Maggie come visit sometime bob maggie cally xxx
HI alfie, my mum says we were that little once too. you are very cute. have a few treats on us and you will grow up to be as big as us, not that thats very big. come and play some time.
Hi Alfie, the girlie gundogs reminded me of my long lost youth today because they were chasing birds. Their targets, unlike mine in the good old days, were of the feathered variety (have no fear my ornithological friends, the bells on the girlies collars act as a very effective early warning system) with magpies and pigeons on the agenda. All the creeping, pointing and "I am invisible" positions adopted were very amusing to watch and brought back "David in the disco" memories - most of which were very painful and I am not just talking about the resultant arthritis. In their new role as a David Tribute Ensemble called "Remember the (a number I am not going to tell you, you'll have to guess)ties" the girls and doberdog are today dropping off a pair of bottle green velvet flares, a pink floral shirt, a tank top and some Brut aftershave. Hmmmmm on reflection those could explain a great deal, particularly the "lack of success"!!! Have fun x
Hello everyone, Romany here, thanks for stopping by. Well, I really like it here. I've been out for walks this week and it's great' I had no idea there was life outside the garden. At the weekend I found a way through the hedge to the field at the back (much to Mam's alarm). So Mam and Dad have been running round in a flap with chicken wire (excuse the pun!) to block any escape routes. As if that wasn't enough Dad is also partitioning the garden! Anyway Mam says we're off to somewhere called 'the woods' later. Would have sent you a bee but it got away. Sending bacon sizzlers and an empty crisp packet to rip up instead. love Romany xxx
