erik was my first patterdale, he was hit by a neighbours car she never stopped he lost the right side of his face including his eye, he died through his injuries on new years eve 2001 i only had him for 5 years i love him so much he really was a brave boy all through these times .

My Dog has Staff
All you can do is love them, at least your dog had a loving caring home and you obviously couldnt have loved him more. I bet he was the happiest little dog ever. Remember happy days. Big Hug From Me & My Dog

So very sorry for your loss, cant believe that woman did not even stop, hope she feels the guilt for the rest of her life, what a thing to do. Anyway always remember the happy times that you had during your 5 glorious years with Erik, he sure looks as though he was a very special little boy. they say time heals but i still miss my border lakeland, he also went befor his time, and his memory is always there i sometimes feel the hurt it is9years now I had him from a puppy it is only just now I have been able to get another puppy, I was afraid that something would go wrong, so for years I chose to have Rescues which have been very rewarding.
