Hi Meg, it is much cooler although I am still feeling the heat. I went to my hydrotheraphy on Sunday, I was a bit slow & have been a bit lethargic recently, my Mum doesn't know if it is the weather or my medication, for a trial period she is taking me off the Metacam & trying me on STP (Stop the Pain) she was reluntant at first, as she doesn't know a lot about it, but has been highly recommended as an alternative medicine, with promising results. Tigger, the new ginger fluff ball, has been up to mischief, he has calmed down since allowed access to the outside world, my Dad's nickname for him is 'silly sausage', on Monday, he was climbing amongst the bath products on the shelf & nearly sat on my Mum's glasses, she pushed him off, he lost his footing & Mum just managed to grab him before he fell down the toilet, at least he kept his dignity although not too happy with Mum. Treats left. Love, Dylan xx xx

Hi Meg, humans have decided to call the new ginger fluff ball 'Tigger', he is curious, greedy, mischievous, playful, he bounces, leaps, jumps, hisses but he is OK. When he is microchipped, I know, he will be here to stay. Steak treat today. Love, Dylan xx xx

Hello Meg, I have been to my hydrotheraphy today for my arthritics, the lady who looks after me, ordered some S.T.P (Stop The Pain), it comes from America & is specially formulated for horses but they have developed a supplement for dogs, so we hope to give it a try & it works. Yesterday, my Mum & Dad started to making our 'scarecrows' for the village festival, this year the theme is movie magic. Most of the entrants do figures, we always enter 'animal scarecrows' & this year will be no different, if our ideas work, we will post them on my kennel in a month's time, We are assembling 5 animal characters & one human figure. The Sunday roast is today's treat. Love, Dylan & the cats: Kizzy, Patches, Lucy, Whisky, Zebedee & Skimble xx xx

Hi Meg, it is my birthday today & guess what, I am at the vets along with Whisky, one of our cats, I have left you a slice of my cake & given Mum my messages to send to my friends, as I will be on the vet's table along with Whisky, paws crossed we both have nice dreams. I know my Mum is anxious, with the phone besides her, but hopefully they will sort out my limp & Whisky's bad tooth, as we are both a bit uncomfortable. She is taking this opportunity to wash all my water bowls in the dishwasher & wash our bedding, just hope she doesn't forget to cook the chicken for our homecoming. Enjoy your cake, & when I am better, it will be a good excuse to have another party. Love, Dylan, Whisky & the other cats x

Hi Meg, hope your ok! Well the weather is nice here today, but it wasn't lilke this the other day. Mummy stupidly thought of taking me on a walk accross the fields even though it had been raining all day, we were both jumping the puddles when mummys leg slipped out in front of her and she went skidding accross the field. I thought she was inventing some new ride for a theme park because it looked so much fun but mummy wasn't too happy because she had mud all over her bum, hehe. Luckily no-one saw because they had all been much more sensible and stuck to pavement walking! Todays treat is some doggy beer, mummy bought me some from pets at home the other day, it was delicious ;o). Loadzzzzz of doggy love from your pal Badger xxxxxxxxxxxx

I helped my little human sisters with the egg hunt, it was so exciting, they were hid all over my front garden, mummy wouln't let me have any because she said they were bad for my tummy, but she gave me some of my treats. I have loaded some more pictures of me onto the site so please have a look. Todays treat is a beef and ale pie, yum yum! Speak to you soon lot of love from your pal Badger xxxxx

Hi Meg, I was told I was a silly dog, Mum gave me a bone to chew and bury, I took it outside and left it in the mud, my Dad brought it in again, so I took it just outside again and left it in the same place, at least, I wasn't as silly as the cats, that got scared when chased by a empty flower pot from Friday's high winds. Mum has been experimenting in the kitchen again, fish as a starter, roast as a main course, followed by fruit, it was a bit more fancy than it sounds, but all treats go down the same way. Love, Dylan & the cat team x

Hi Meg, WOW....WOW...and more WOWs.....the weekend was marked by an absolutely sensational event.....a truly incredible result.....Drum Roll.......Another Drum Roll......And Another Drum Roll......No, not the rugby, even more incredible than that.......yes indeedy, Purdey didn't get to roll in anything stinky because we managed to stop her! She spotted something on our walk, something which would have been, invariably, very smelly and would also have been very unpleasant stuck to her neck and back!!! We think that, in a previous life, it had been a duck's dinner. Fortunately, Purdey was still on the lead so her loveliness (Mrs Davidmh not Sarika, not to say that Sarika isn't lovely, in fact she is very lovely) managed to pull her to her feet as she started to drop....EXCELLENT....Our first victory over the POOMONSTER which makes the score very much closer...Us 1 - Purdey 237. And now our walk....WE MET UP WITH SOME OTHER DOGGYSNAPPERS for the first time. It was brilliant because they all turned out to be great fun and really lovely and the doggies turned out to be even more gorgeous in real life than they are on here. Roll on the next meeting. And finally it will not come as a surprise to anyone that today the girls and doberdog are dropping off a portion of recycled duck's dinner to roll in...Purdey cannot have it(TeeHee), Sarika is far too much of a Laydee for such things and Max is asleep. PS Oh yes, it is of course DDDD35 (David's Dreadful Diet Day 35), gosh, 5 weeks now and weigh day tomorrow, I don't "feel" any lighter this week so we will see. Have fun x

Hi Meg, only had about 5 minutes for DoggySnaps yesterday as I had appointments with several Ms - not Maltesers unfortunately but Motorways, the M3, the M25 and the M23. Today's visit is about SARIKA who, as some will know, was yesterday announced as winner of the Humansnaps Laydee of the Month award for February, the Month of Lurve. I was really pleased and not a little proud and I just wanted to say thank you to all those who voted for her gorgeousness and also I wanted to compliment all the other lovely dogs who were nominated. In celebration we partied long into the night, apart from the other supermodel, Purdey, who was in disgrace, having again rolled in something that was both unmentionable and of uncertain origin but was, being typical Purdey, very smelly. Today the girls, the Laydee of the Month and Purdey (newly refragantised - nice make up word that), are delivering kisses to absolutely everyone and Max is delivering handshakes xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Oh yes, it is also DDDD30 (David's Dreadful Diet Day 30) and it was weigh day yesterday......10lbs gone now. I was chuffed about that too but not nearly as much as about my beautiful Sarika x

Hi Meg, DDDD25 (David's Dreadful Diet Day 25). I have started to dream about food which strikes me as pretty sad. And yesterday, when I arrived at Sainsbury's on my morning walk, I HAD (was compelled by a force far beyond my control) to buy a TUB OF CORNISH ICECREAM.............and............A BOTTLE OF TOFFEE SAUCE...............and...............A PACKET OF CHOCOLATE RAISINS...............and...........ANOTHER PACKET OF CHOCOLATE RAISINS! I haven't touched any of it yet but I think that DDD could come under a bit of pressure this weekend! As there is great news on the dog front, Sarika, Purdey and Max all being not only well but are also clean and fragrant (which makes a change), today they are delivering a large amount of whatever you might fancy, you can choose. We hope that you and yours have an excellent weekend x

Hi Meg, DDDD21 (David's Dreadful Diet Day 21). Weigh day tomorrow. I am a bit doubtful about weight loss this week - although the "man flu" helped midweek I have since "given in", more than once, to being simply too hungry. We will see! The dogs health report: Sarika and Purdey are now recovered from the nasty tummy bug, Max is almost there. And that "sigh of relief" you heard was not just from the dogs and not just from me but also from the tiled kitchen floor which hasn't had a great couple of weeks! Today the girls and doberdog are delivering what would have been MY sausages, beans and mash with onion gravy but, of course, I am on this bloody DDD. Enjoy

Hi Meg, it is DDDD14 (David's Dreadful Diet Day 14) I am sure that my weight loss continues as I have noticed my watch strap is loose. We will find out tomorrow, weigh day 2. At least I have recovered from the "chilli experience" and am now sitting comfortably. More than can be said for the dogs: Sarika has had a really nasty tummy bug for a week, although she is now recovering she has passed it on to Max, so far only Purdey's cast iron constitution is resisting. Today's treat is therefore some aromatic incense sticks - if you were here you would know why they are absolutely essential. Have fun.

Hi Meg, we still miss Tinker. The snow has gone but now we have high winds & rain, the patio heater with a full gas bottle was blown over, as it is covered, we hope there is no damage, we lost the garden arch, which is a shame. Last winter we lost all the glass in the green house, so now it is an empty frame tied to the fence, feel really sorry for the postman, he lost his garden shed, just hope he is covered with his insurance. To end with a humorous note, Dad was taking down the Christmas cards last Saturuday & he heard a rustle, looked around saw nothing & so continued, then all was revealed, he spotted a extra Christmas decoration that wasn't there before, Zebedee one of our cats was in the middle of the Christmas tree, climbing towards the top, maybe he had spied the articial robins, Dad pulled him off & the curious cat had managed to get a string of lights tangled around him, if Dad wasn't so worried for his safety, would loved to have captured his antics on camera. The cats have managed to break into my bonio box, so before they steal them all, leaving you a selection to eat or bury, the choice is yours. Wishing you all a bright, happy & healthy 2008. Love, Dylan & the cat team xxx
