Hi Posty, I do understand how you feel about your loss of Bambi and Bessie, it's so heartbreaking. I had to make "the decision" about my Cara in October 2005 which broke my heart and a year later in November 2006 my darling old Lukeybaby died, the pain was and still is unbearable. The love an animal gives is unconditional, they love you for what you are, it makes no difference who you are or what you look like and unlike human beings they never, ever "stab you in the back". I now have my Dexter & Kayla Rose who I love equally as much as I did Cara and Luke but they will, of course, never replace them. I am glad you still have Honey and Pateley to comfort you. May I ask where in Yorkshire Pateley Bridge is ? XX

Hi Posty thank you for making me your friend. Dear Bambi had such beautiful colours, very unusual. Was she crossed with a Flat Coat Retriever at all ? Whatever, she was very beautiful, you must have been very proud of her XX
