Wondered where you had been. Poor Toby. He recovered from the snake bite and now, bless him, he's losing all his hair. There are photos of him with his snake bite and hairless on his page. I got his bloodwork back Friday and it shows his thyroid level is borderline low. The vet has put him on a very low dose of thyroid med. Maybe this will work. Otherwise, off I go to Jeffers to buy a selection of coats for thim to wear this winter. So glad Frankie is doing okay. Hope the rest of the gang is well also. My bunch is sending yours some fresh peanuts. Salt free, of course.

Hope all is well with you and your gang. I just had the scare of my life. Toby was bitten by a snake Monday night. I didn't notice it until about an hour after it happened. Thank goodness I work for a vet so I called one of the doctors at home and because it obviously wasn't a rattlesnake bite (usually fatal in a short time), probably a copperhead, he told me to give him Benadryl (25 mg) every three hours until the vet opened in the morning. Sounds weird, but by 7 am Tuesday, the swelling had actually begun to go down. He gave him steroid injections and meds and to look at Toby now, you would never believe he had been bitten. Crazy pugs, won't leave anything alone. But I still love them. Hope Frankie is doing okay. Sending treats to the whole gang from mine. Jackie

Was just on the post for Frankie and the Kong. Glad he's up and around. I did examine my black kongs just in case and found them to all be intact. Would hate to not be able to use them. Once I stuff them with peanut butter, I get a few minutes of peace and quiet. Jackie

Wow, glad Frankie is doing okay. I always tell people that if it's not nailed down, a pug will put anything in it's mouth or stomach. I work at a vet's office and we had to remove a bag of balloons from a puppy's intestines the other day. Was the Kong a red one? The manufacturer says the black ones are supposed to be indestructable if you want to switch to one of them. Just glad he's okay. I know you were very worried. Jackie

Hope Frankie is better. My Toby swallowed a whole squirrel one day and scared the bejesus out of me. Thank goodness the bones dissolved and he didn't end up with a blockage. We have a pug day in Oak Mountain near Birmingham. I always seem to miss it. Plus I would have a very hard time trying to decide who I would take with me. Sent a bag of treats for your gang.

What a beautiful bunch of babies. Yes, they are very much like potato chips. I just got the extra large bag. I have ten, five rescues. Where do you live in FL? I live in the south east corner of AL. It would be awesome to have a pug day. Jackie
