Hi LadyJ - hope all in your kennel are well. Its been a mixed week in our house. Started off with the Brr..snow - but I didn't mind it once I'd had a good game of catch. Titch went to the v*ts to have his nails done and one started to bleed - and Mommy said it's cos the nurse wasn't paying attention and she's glad I'm not registered there anymore. I got a new collar and lead as my old lead was a bit frayed and Dad didn't like my old collar - I also got a new Haltie to replace the one titch chewed through - grr, thought I'd got rid of it for good!. Mommy bought us some yummy choccy bones from Pets at Home. Mommy is still sleeping alot - but Daddy is at home at the moment so he plays with us when we get too active for Mommy to handle. We enjoyed Wishbone's thanksgiving buffet - even though we couldn't stop long it gave us time to think about what we are grateful for. Of course we are grateful for all our friends on doggysnaps so we are sharing our yummy choccy bones with you - love Annie xx
Hello friend - it's just a quick visit today. Mommy hasn't been very well and is out of bed for the first time in a week - Titch and I have been entertaining her by stealing the duvet and chasing each other right over the bed - I'm sure she enjoyed it! Pics of Titch should go up this weekend. Leaving you chocolate gateaux with extra cream - love Annie xx
Just a quick visit today - loads to do - still getting used to Titch, we are having some issues! Stupid ball of fluff won't play with me - and i only want to be friends!! Was a quiet night last night - only 3 trick or treaters - so mommy gave them loads of Taz's sweets (heehee) - It's her birthday today - she is 13 in Human years - apparently thats something to get excited about! Had a great run in the park today - so i'm going to sleep it off - birthday cake all round (shhh - don't tell taz) love Annie xx
Oh my, sorry we haven't been over for a couple of days - but its been a wierd one! my human sisters party is well on its way and its go go go in the house. Mommy got a little upset on the forum the other night as someone spouted a load of wallop that I didn't love her - but we've calmed her down and given her lots of cuddles. However - the big news, no - HUGE news is - theres another dog in my house!!! hes called titch (cos he's dead tiny compared to me)and mommy and daddy are fostering him while his owner is in hospital - the lady who brought him said he is going to be here for about 4 months and I have to look after him. well - grumpty grump!! he almost 4 and is a terrier type thing. Not sure yet whether I approve of him - I will let you now in due course. leaving you some choccy drops and some warm milk - to keep you warm what with the door opening every 5 minutes with the blooming halloween people - love Annie xxx(oh - and Titch xx)
Well I'm back from another gruelling holiday of running about and playing and barking at horses and sleeping by the fire. Boy it was FUN.Mommy says I'm going back again in 4 weeks 'cos shes taking my human sister to London for her birthday. I can't wait!! There's so much to do and all my cousins to play with - theres Jemma, she's the lady of the pack and you don't mess with her - she's almost 100 in doggy years and can't see or hear - but she still steals my dinner if I don't pay attention!! Then theres Rebel - he's big and fast like me and all black so he sneaks up on yoy. He looks all tough but he's really a big softie and crys all the time if he doesn't get his own way. He almost bit mommy's toe off (by accident) and I was a little wary of him after that for a bit - but its all fine now. Then there's Sam - he had a really bad start in life and didn't really have a puppyhood and was rescued when he was almost 3 - so he finds it hard to play and gets a little stressed - but he is very protective and cuddly - but I mustn't share my food with sam as he is on a diet!! Finally there is little Kimmy - she is a collie cross like me - but is small as she's only about 6 months old. Kimmy is a dogs trust dog - so we had loads to talk about. She likes to play - lots - so I am very tired still. Apple and cranberry crumble today - love Annie xxxx
Evening my cute friend sorry we haven't visited in a while but mum & dad have been doing something called tiling (whatever that is) in the kitchen. There has been some strange sounding language while this was going on. Do you think its french or something? Anyway my friend its stew & dumplings for your supper to keep the cold out on these frosty nights. Love your pals Brac & the gang xxxxxxxxxx : )
hello my friend - I've had another cracking weekend. We had visitors overnight on Sat and I got to have a big play in the woods with my new ball thrower, and our guests little boy didn't get bored of playing catch with me for HOURS!! and I got to sleep on Mommy's bed with her and Taz - that wasn't much fun as taz doesn't lie still like Mommy and I got bumped off the bed once or twice. Today Mommy went to the big swedish shop and bought me a lovely new fleece for my downstairs bed - its really comfortable. And she bought me some new bowls for my food and they are really stylish and big. She also bought me a new flying toy -but I haven't mastered it yet. One bad thing happened - I had a bad dream early saturday morning and woke everyone as I was barking really loud - but Mommy said it was Ok and she let me cuddle up on her and go back to sleep. Tomorrow we are off on Holiday again and get to spend another week with my cousins - I can't wait to get messy and smelly again. On that note - I have to go as mommy keeps calling me upstairs and has already taken my collar off so I'm guessing I have to have a B.A.T.H. - boo!! Leaving an edible cricket ball for you - my new fav treat which Mommy got me - See you next weekend - Love Annie xxx
Hello! Thanks for the treat it was yummy! Right now, I'm in the garden digging up a bone I buried earlier, while mum watches the rugby. Had a lovely day helping to plant some new shrubs for me in the garden. Here's a lovely gravy bone for you, hope you enjoy it. Please come and see me in my kennel anytime. Bella xx
Hello gorgeous , Ive ,been to the pet shop got a huge supply of rugby balls , squeeky toys , cuddly toys & yummy treats sending you a selection of these to keep you occupied when the rugby is on later love Jed xxx
Hi Ladyjane, CRIKEY is the only word (well, there are several others but I think the site censor might object!) to describe things here. In advance of this evening's match, fans have been arriving in their thousands, all in their supporters shirts. There is a fair amount of booze being consumed, lots of banter and a great atmosphere. The big question is, after the thrashing last time, can.................................Purdey turn the tables on Sarika? We are, of course, talking about the World Slug Catching Championship (Southern Region Qualifier, Hairy Gundogs Division). WHAT ELSE? Judged by doberdog who makes up in enthusiasm for what he lacks in eyesight, it promises to be an interesting match. As you might have or want a pet slug, today's treats from the girls and doberdog are a slug kennel and some rhubarb leaves.....Oh yes, and a tranquiliser for your humans (just in case they are going to watch the OTHER big match). Have fun.
Hi Ladyjane, it is a lovely day. The sun is out here, the dogs are all fine nevermind Purdelicious smelling of tomato sauce (having had to be "treated" following a roll in something not very special which a fox left for her!) and England are in the Rugby World Cup Final. Treatworthy moments all. The girls and doberdog are sending a plate of smoked salmon, a tube of tomato puree and a clothes peg for your human's nose (just in case). Have fun.
Hey my pretty friend tell your mum thanks for visiting us. Todays treat is a nice bowl of bbq chicken enjoy! Love your pals Brac & the gang xxxxxxxxx : )
Ooooooh gorgeous pretty girl! So glad you found your smashing forever home babe! have a tasty bag of maltesers as a treat from us beautiful xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Brac & the gang : )
