Hi there Kaine, how are you today?? Well once again the weekend has arrived yippppeeee!!!! Mummy came home early this afternoon, so I have had an extra long walk. At one point I had a scare mummy saw this Whippet coming at me and called me to her, but I spotted the dog running at me so I went the other way and just kept going. It became apparent when the doggy run up to my mummy that she knew the dog, that's when I stopped running to turn back and realised it was Piper our friend. Silly me. I have been mistaken for a rabbit before now, but that's another story. Leaving you scampi and chips my friend. Licks and cuddles Poppy and woofs and wags from my cousins Drift and Dash xxxxxx
Hellooooo my friend Kaine, I'm sooooooo sorry for my long absence, but i'm here now and I'm soooooo happy to see you again. Well I went for my lovely walk to the beach this morning. It wasn't as bright as yesterday, but it was dry and surprisingly mild. The down side of it was "true to her word" mummy stuck me in the bath. After the bath I have a "daft half hour" as mummy calls it. I run round the house like a demented pooch, but I thinks it's fun because mum joins in too hee hee hee. Well got to go and visit all my other poochie pals. We're leaving you some cockels and whelks what mummy and daddy had at the beach. See you tomorrow Licks, sniffs and cuddles Poppy and my cousins Drift and Dash xxxxxxx
Hi there Kaine, it's grrrrreat to see youagain my friend. Well another weekend upon us yeahhhhhh!!! Mummy can't believe how quick they're coming around. We have got a glorious day here today. I hope the weekend stays the same which means I will get to go to the beach. I love the beach, but I always bring most of it back with me. Mummy has to brush me to get the sand out, then she will bath me to get rid of the salt. That's the down side of it. Anyway I get to spend my much loved time with mummy. Leaving you some dressed crab sarnies Enjoy. Licks and cuddles Poppy, Drift and Dash xxxxxxxxx
Hi Kaine, so there was this pile of deer poo. First the golden sand coloured hairy east European girlie gundog, she of royal lineage, looked at it, sniffed it and then decided that the leaves fluttering in the wind were of much greater interest. Then the silver grey coloured hairy east European girlie gundog looked at it and sniffed it AND then decided that the leaves were more interesting too. PHEW went the aged human, rather smugly, knowing that Mrs Davidmh was at the stables so any “stinky” washing and “desmelling with tomato sauce” duties would be down to him. He started to whistle. So engrossed in his whistling was he (it was a complicated tune with REQUIRED changes of key AND descants – the aged human interestingly being very good at them when they are NOT REQUIRED but not so when they ARE) that he failed to notice the silver grey one doubling back until it was too late. He turned around just in time to see her, all four legs in the air, actually wriggling her back in the aforementioned deer poo.......next time I had better stick to easier whistling, Young Folks or Colonel Bogey! AND BY POPULAR REQUEST... A pair of cows were talking in the field. One says, "Have you heard about that mad cow disease that's going around?" "Yeah," the other cow says. "Makes me glad I'm a penguin."
Hellooooooo Kaine, well no white stuff today, just plenty of the wet stuff "RAIN" and blowing a whoooooooly. I hate this weather, my fur gets soooo wet and tangled, mummy has to wait till I dry off before she can brush me. She tries to use that blowy machine on me, but I run a mile because it scares me. I don't know why though because I watch mummy when she uses it on her hair and I don't budge an inch, so why is that do you think????? WelI I shall leave you with some spotty dick mummy made last night. The Steam puddings are coming out in force along with the broth and dumplings to keep us warm. Love ya, licks andf cuddles Poppy xxxxx
Hi Kaine, building HDS WOOF (the doggies only BARK) is hard work. So far the girlie gundogs and I have collected seventeen twigs, four leaves, some cardboard with brown sticky tape attached, a piece of string, a plastic bag and a dead pigeon. I am struggling to work out what to do with the pigeon. We also very nearly collected a live deer but that’s another story (naughty Purdey!). At least the girlies make up with their enthusiasm for their complete lack of appreciation of what we actually need for boat building. The same cannot be said for dobes who frankly I blame for not briefing them properly. He says he has been too busy sleeping, watching repeats of DEAL OR NO DEAL or doing the TIMES crossword. In the circumstances I think that we’d all better hope for a DROUGHT this winter! Anyway, guess what you are getting today....that’s right...the TIMES crossword (three clues to do)....and OK then.....you get the pigeon too. Have fun x
Hi Kaine, a flying visit today, so I will quickly drop off some scrambled eggs and sausages for your dinner. I have to say the wedding was spectacular and I did come home with a few more choccie coins and sweeties from the slot machines than I expected hahahaha. Have a woofable day, licks and wet nose kisses Poppy xxxxxxxxxxxx
Hellooooooo KAINE. A very blustery day today, so much so, mummy has managed to get all her holiday clothes washed and dried all in one go. It's been a very busy day for mummy, she has even brought home work from the office she must finish for tomorrow, so we may not get round all my poochie pals today, but we will try our best. Leaving you some of mummy's homemade apple and blackberry crumble. It's woofalicious, enjoy my friend. Licks and cuddles Poppy xxxxx
Hi there Kaine, well in mummy's own words, our holiday seems like a distant memory already. She misses all that lovely sunshine, especially this morning when she really did'nt want to get out of her nice warm bed to go to work!!! Well at least it's a short week, as she started back yesterday, and only tomorrow to go yippeeeeee. Well I shall pootle off now and I'll leave you some scrambled eggs for dinner tonight, just like I've had. Enjoy my friend. Sniffs, woofs and wags Poppy xxxxx
Hi Kaine, mummy say's she is still sooooooo fatigued from her holiday, not sure what that means, but I hope she gets over it soon?? She went back to work today, but really did'nt want to go back at all. So that means I'm going to be home alone as usual. I hate it when mummy works. I always look forward to the weekends when I have her all to myself. Well I'll leave you with a scotch egg salad for your dinner tonight. Enjoy, Licks and cuddles Poppy xxxxx
Hi Kaine, poochie pal Poppy here, back from my holidays. Ive missed you soooooo much. I've had a grrrrrreat time with Nanny Sandy, and mummy said her holiday was fantastic too. She didn't want to come home, but she thought better of the situation as that would have meant leaving me behind, and she couldn't do that to me. "Phew thank goodness". Mind you, she has come back a funny colour, I thought she was another person hehehehehe. Well I want to say a "BIG THANK YOU" for looking after my kennel while I was away. I see that you have done a good job, as there hadn't been any squatters moved in. Well I have got soooooooo much catching up to do with all my other poochie pals, so I will leave you your pressie I brought back for you, which is an edible chewy dolphin, which I have to say is soooooo delicious, as mummy brought them back for me and ALL my poochie pals. Enjoy my friend. Woofs, wags and cuddles Poppy xxxxx
Hi Kaine, all is quiet here. The kennel remains in a state of astonishment after the princessliness and the poo rolling incident. Sarika remains embarrassed. So many questions...Is she still a princess? Is she the new poomonster? Can a princess be a poomonster? Can a poomonster be queen? What is the Hungarian word for poomonster? I HAVE ALSO SPOTTED PURDEY WINKING AT SARIKA AND GIGGLING BEHIND HER PAW ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS, THE SMUG LITTLE SOD. Max has yet to offer an opinion, remaining asleep, surprise surprise, although I think that he is pretending to be asleep to avoid confrontation, A TYPICAL MALE! The good news is that my kennel now works properly...HOORAY...but I had to take all my pics off which was a pity because I was really proud that they had been favourited so many times. Anyway I will hopefully sort and upload some new ones over the weekend. Today I am delivering for all the doggies a kiss, a cuddle and a bonio and for the slaves a slice of the treacle tart I have just made, with clotted cream of course. Have fun. x
Hi Kaine, NEWS FLASH....NEWS FLASH.....NEWS FLASH..... ANOTHER SHOCK HORROR AWE FILLED SENSATION. People of Berkshire in the United of Kingdoms have been stunned by the incredible news from the davidmh kennel. Her Princessliness Sarika ....... a member of The Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla Royal Household, she of the ”butter wouldn’t melt” expression, she of the human eyes and the perfumed botty burps, the Laydee of the Month of Lurve, also known as Her Gorgeousness and, by Purdey, as Miss Goody Twoshoes............ has disgraced herself. On a walk this morning she did a Purdey, SHE ROLLED IN SOMETHING UNMENTIONABLE AND VERY SMELLY. Her human slave (now on tranquillisers) and the incorrigible one, the Poomonster, looked on in complete bewilderment. The sleeping dobes has yet to express an opinion. TV news crews from the Doggy Channel are on site and the Ambulance Service are administering to many stunned passers-by. What next?!!!! Will Sarika become the Poomonster? Will Purdey give up her title willingly? Will Max wake up? A bottle of pop and a fillet steak for you while we are waiting for answers to these fundamental questions. x
Hi Inka, I missed you at my Birthday bash, I had a grrrrrrrrreat day. Soooooo many treats and prezzies, I din't know which to open first. I got a new Walt Disney Beach Ball, a chicken raggety, a chewy shoe and even a bubble machine yippeeeeeeee! When mummy came home my party began, and I chased the bubbles round the garden with all my friends, I've left you a glass of Pink Poochie Pomagne anyway my friend. Enjoy. Wags, woofs and wet nose kisses. Poppy xxxxx
Hi Kaine, grrrrreat to see you again my friend. We've had a beautiful day here today, sooooooo much so that Daddy is just about to flash up the barbie.
