Hi Rogue, how are you? I hoped that spring had sprung, if it has I think it has now sprung back into its box because it has been icy cold here. And talking of spring, Sarika did a somersault/back flip yesterday, I shall call it a "Purdey" which is also a bit of a clue as to the outcome. She was chasing a tennis ball which bounced over her head, in her excitement she leapt in the air and did a back flip after the ball .........and landed straight in something disgusting. I think that it had previously "belonged" to a deer or a badger! Sarika was mortified, she is after all a LADY and so was I, because, somehow or other, I ended up with some of it on me. I am simply not articulate enough to describe the awfulness of the stench, not without using a fair number of swearwords anyway. Ugh..Ugh..and treble Ugh!!! Thank goodness for tomato puree (Sarika) and anti bacterial handwash (me)and the washing machine (my clothes). And Purdey clearly smiled when she saw what had happened to both Her Majesty and me (her slave), she was also quite clearly trying to work out how to get some of the pong by rolling on Sarika and/or me. Today's treat therefore is an absolute essential now, a non-bouncing tennis ball. And I am off to check my hands again. Have fun x

Hiya Roguey! Hope you had a lovely Christmas, we've just got back from a few days in Wales with the 'rellies'. No walks on the beach this time but I did have a lovely walk, this morning with my mate Boris the retriever. Hope you had some lovely presents - I know I did, I'm such a lucky pup! I've been round the buffet and got you a plate of goodies so heres some turkey, ham, salad, cheese and biscuits, a mince pie and some trifle. Who needs mistletoe? Here's a big slobbery Christmas kiss xxxxxxxxxx

Hiya Roguey! Thanks for calling round! Sorry not been around for a while, Mum's been busyand she won't let me on the pooter by myself. It was a rainy old weekend here, in fact apart from a few hours sunshine Saturday its been a grotty weekend, even had thunder and lightning on Friday night (I wasn't scared though). Mum went to check out a new class for me the other night, but it wasn't on - three times a year they use the hall for a play and mum had to go and choose one of the three!!! She did meet a few other people who go (but didn't know it wasn't on) and they seemed really nice and complimentary about the class, only thing is it sounds as if they are keen for us to use check chains at least to start with and Mum's not sure how she feels about that so is going to watch a class first without me. Anyway, they don't do the classes on the first Tuesday of the month so it'll be a couple of weeks before she gets another chance. Did my very own 'Bushtucker Trial' the other night and ate a spider (well killed it anyway, then left it for Mum to clear up - she seemed to enjoy doing that so I'll keep an eye for some more). All this rain has brought the hissing spitting monsters back to life and although I still don't like them, I don't seem to be as scared as I used to be so thats good. Hope your little human bean is settling in Ok - housetrained yet? Brought you some potato salad, a spider leg (not much meat on it but share and share alike), you can have a little chew of my nylabone and a great big hug! 21 sleeps to Christmas!!! Lots of love, Polly xxxxxxxxxx

Hiya Roguey! How are you getting along with the new little human bean? I'm having a great time with my agility tunnel in the garden been out there this morning so am ready for a nap now. Have the fireworks started there already? They have here, can you believe one went off at 11am today!? Anyway I wuffed at it and it went away so I'm pleased to say that still works! Anyway, I've saved up a lovely stash of treats for my friends... we've got some roast chicken, scrambled egg, a bonio I dug up yesterday (can't vouch for use by date!), a sock that dropped out of the washing, some bird seed I pinched from the cockatiel and a big handful of torn tissues that Mum thinks she got off me! Take care, lots of love from Polly xxx

Hey Roguey! Good to hear from you again! I was only thinking about you earlier when I went to someone's kennel who didn't like fireworks and was remembering our chats about barking to scare them off last year! Fancy you having a new human bean to look after, sounds like you're doing a great job. Mum's just taken the chicken out of the oven so a lovely piece on its way - be careful, its still hot! xxx

Hiya Roguey! How are you doing? I’m really looking forward to this week because Mum’s got a week off work so we’re going to have loads of fun (I hope anyway, she’s just come back from the library with a small stack of dog training books! - I’ve been really good at school this week so I think she’s getting ideas now!) We’re going to see my Auntie in Wales for a day or two so that means I get to go on the beach and possibly see my gorgeous mate Boris (retriever). AND… My next door neighbours are getting a JRT pup today so that’ll be more excitement when I get to meet her – might even be able to persuade her to become a Doggysnapper!!! Just popping round with a weekend treat of peanut butter sandwiches, some lettuce I pinched from Misty the cockatiel and a good handful of chew stix to keep you going. Lots of love, Polly xxx
