Hi Romell, how are you and the humans? Problems with "fetch" meant we couldn't visit yesterday so here we are now. I had hoped that I had had my last dog poo moment (if you know what I mean). WRONG. I was walking Sarika yesterday. Her princessliness went off to do "what is natural". I got a nappy sack out of my pocket (every item of clothing I have with a pocket has nappy sacks in that pocket) and put my hand in the nappy sack so I could then pick up the poo, reverse the sack, tie up the handles and job done (in more ways than one!). I am not sure when I discovered that I had put my thumb through the hole in the sack tie handle. Was it when I sensed the strange warm feeling on my thumb or was it when I saw what had happened? And does it really matter? Ugh..Ugh..and more Ughs. After lots of wiping of my thumb on the grass I walked home holding my right hand as far away from me as possible. What hand? No, its not with me! Never seen it before! Anyway I managed to get in the house without using the thumb and several scrubbings later I think that it was finally clean. So today, not surprisingly, the girls and dobes are delivering some nappy sacks without tie handles for your humans. And me, well I am off to have another wash. Have fun x

Hi, love your romell!! just got my rottie, have a look at him, hes 7 weeks old now, my other dog loves him to bits, they play all the time, just wondering if you have any advice or tips on keeping him in line and making sure he grows up to be a calm docile boy, at the o he is very cocky and bossy and like to think hes in charge, as all rotties do!! but do you have any useful tips to keep him calm and nice?? write back , thanks

Hey Romell! My mum said to say sorry for taking so long to come back for a visit, but she got a new job and has been busy organizing things for when she starts on Monday! I think she is a little nervous... I am going to miss our walks through the day but she assures me that she will take me every afternoon so I don't, now what did she say I did.. Rip the towel off the line... It wasn't me.. Here's the story, I saw these two Indian myer birds right, and they came down stole MY dog biscuits, then had the hide to rip a perfectly good towel off the line so I would get the blame!! I'll show them so now I'm stalking them, they better watch out! heehee... Hope to see you real soon Love Rocky xx Stole some sausages so enjoy (OR, maybe I should blame those rotten birds) xx

Hi Romell, thanks for the well wishes, but I am going NUTS! but the good news, I get my bandage off on Tuesday...only 2 more days! I am so happy to get this stupid thing off and be able to run and play with my friends and my mom and dad!!! I think I have been a bit of a pest to people lately, but it is only because I have so much pent-up energy! My mom and dad went out of town for just one night and my human uncle came to stay with me, and I overheard him telling my mom that I was being annoying! Well, you see, I just wanted to go outside, but then once I was outside, I wanted to come back in, so I barked to let him know (polite of me, I know) well, then a few minutes later, I decided that I wanted to go out again....hopefully you can see the pattern. Soory, I am a girl and am sometimes indecive...hehehe! Then to make things a bit worse, I kept trying to lick his face as he was lying on the couch..how else I am going to tell him that I am bored and want him to play with me....I can't talk! so now I am wondering if he will be willing to come back and babysit me when my mom and dad are gone! I know he still loves me because he gave me lots of kisses as he left! Leving you and all your family lots of oatmeal cookies! Lots of licks~Maddi

Hi Romell, I have had some BRILLIANT NEWS, well, actually, to be accurate, I have had some NO BRILLIANT NEWS or, more precisely, some BRILLIANT NO NEWS. Confused? Well how do you think I feel because I make this up as I go - and it is only the third sentence!!!! Hey Ho. Anyway, when the Olympics was awarded to London for 2012, I came up with an excellent plan. In my garden is the kid's old sand pit. So I wrote to Lord Coe and offered the use of the sandpit for one of the most important Olympic events, the lady's beach volleyball competition, you know the one with beautiful girls and bikinis. And the BRILLIANT NO NEWS, well I haven't heard anything yet which means that they haven't turned me down. I reckon I must be on the shortlist, if not perhaps already selected. The letter might be in the post!!! On the other hand, I suppose there is a remote possibilty that my offer might have been consigned to the waste paper bin, they might have thought that I was some sort of nutter....moi....a nutter....what do you think? Hmmmmmmm, perhaps not! For some bizarre reason the girls and dobes are today delivering a bucket of wishful thinking and a request for any spare straitjackets. Have fun x. PS I am definitely going to have to go and lie down now in a moment...I think I have finally gone mad!!!

Hi Rommell, how are you? Getting older has simply nothing to recommend it, I realised that this morning when I was looking for my glasses. I knew that, being as blind as the proverbial bat, I had absolutely no hope of finding them unless I was actually wearing them, if you SEE what I mean. And I will not mention the senile moments which seem to come now with increasing frequency - did I shut the door? which door? why did I go upstairs? what was that I said I wouldn't forget? And the worrying thing is that I still have the male menopause to come!!!! Anyway, at least the doggies are all flourishing, the girlie gundogs spark each other off and seem to be in a permanent state of puppydom and it is wonderful and long may it last. And although Dobes is obviously beginning to feel his age and is sleeping most of the time, he remains a happy little chap. And none of them have to wear spectacles, the lucky sods. Today the threesome are delivering a bird's feather found by Purdey on our walk, a hair tie (Sarika's favourite toy, she loves it put on her nose) and a duvet (slightly used) from Max...oh yes, and an empty spectacle case. Have fun x

Hey Romell! how are you? I unfortunately have been having a pretty rough week. If you look at my new picture, you will see that I have had to get my foot wrapped :( I cut it pretty bad, not bad enough for surgery, but bad enough that my vet told my mom and dad that I can only go outside to go to the bathroom...can you believe that? I am going to go CRAZY! Well with all my time inside I will be better keeping in touch with all my friends. Make sure to think of me on all your walks.... Love, Maddi
