Thanks for ur comment on my collies, advice for grooming hey... depends on how she was brought up... do you just try grooming her while standing? if so, get her to lay down, she might not be comfortable standing. make sure she is on a lead while u do this, otherwise i have found that they think you want to hurt them or just play.. i have been around collies all my life.. all that have born and kept have been brought up from a young age to stand still or lay still on a table..on both sides of their bodies so they get nice relaxing full grooms..cant say that every one of them have been good collies to groom, a few wrigglers in my time so far...Luster for one...
Also if she is acting if she is scared of it, let her sniff the brush/comb so she knows what is goin to happen.. hope i've helped.. thanks for asking.. Danni and 4 legged friends

These itching moments are they sometimes so frequent that its every time she sits down?
Minnie is doing this all the time atm, she doesnt have flies or ticks or anything nasty on her skin. Har hair was looking a bit nasty and she got a bath on sunday, her fur is beautiful but the scratching is still there.
At first we thought it was a skin condition or her food but the vet couldnt find anything wrong and we have tried her on different foods but the one shes on atm is the only one that hasnt given her really runny poos!!
Great to hear from you again.
xx

Hi Jo... Thank you for your message... Do you think they are all dol-lally?... Yes now you mention it Basie nibbles with his tiny front teeth if i have a jumper on!!!! How very strange.. It must be a throwback to some dark and distant past!!! When Basie was little we went in the park and a group of brownies were sat in a circle... This completely blew his tiny mind and he walked round the circle carefully inspecting each little brownie....finking,,,whow these little people like circles too!!!! I thought afterwards I hope you didnt think he was achasing his tail...he doesnt....much bigger circles than that!!!!.Its interesting though isnt it.. Thank you for that... Atreat for you...in fact 2!!! and a treat for Abbie & Cassie and a kiss in the breeze for beautiful Chloe.... Love Joanxx
