Hi Ruby It’s been quite an eventfull weekend so far. Friday I had 2 walks and went to pets at home. Dad was saying we were going to get a little friend for somebody. I thought it would be a new puppy for me to boss arround…erm…I mean to look after. But it turns out he is hunting for another Chinchilla to keep Chubs company. But all is not lost yesterday my Aunty ‘A’ the lady 2 doors away. My old friend Blakey’s mum went to see a new puppy called Harvey he is 4 weeks old and when I come back from my holiday I am allowed to meet him. I am so excited. I am going to the kennels on Tuesday for 2 weeks so I am looking forward to my little break from fetching stuff and generaly leading a dogs life at home. I hope to leave another message before I go but my dad seems to be permenantly on the computer looking at a place called hotel. I think this is where the family are going on holiday. Has anybody heard of it? So if you don’t hear from me don’t worry I will be doing bird for a crime I didn’t commit I will speak to you when I get released Love Thierry xx♥♥xx

Hi Ruby How are you today? The sun is out and the weather is beautiful. I am just back from a walk over the river. The tide was right in and I had a great swim. Then we went home and I lay in the front garden on the path and dried off in the sun. Mum said I was steaming but I hadn’t even had a drink of water so I am not sure what she meant. Good morning. Yesterday My mum was in a good mood and took me to the beach again. Well she was in a good mood untill she backed into somebodys car who came screaming down our road. I think they were French because I didn’t understand most of the words being used. Today is a lot wetter and duller so it looks like a short walk and a cuddle up watching TV is in order. Sorry the messages havn’t been as frequent as normal but dad has to work for a living now. But assures me he will leave treats as often as possible. Hi ruby Today is very dull and windy so Dad took me over the airport fields and I chased a couple of rabbits. They must have been training because I couldn’t catch them then we went to the human pet store B&Q to get some paint for the wall. Seems strange to me painting walls but whatever keeps him happy. Today’s treat is sirloin steak, mushrooms, big fat chips and peas. Speak to you later Love Thierry xx♥♥xx

Hi Ruby Yesterday I went down the beach with the whole family except dad because he is at work. My three brothers, my sister and my Mum. My brothers only came because Mum promised them an Ice Cream. We spent two hours on the beach playing football and my daft oldest brother accidentally kicked the ball way out to sea. So I, being the best swimmer volunteered to go and fetch it. It wasn’t until I got to it I realised it didn’t fit in my mouth. Well it only looked small from the beach. So I had to push it all the way back. I was shattered after that so mum took everybody for an ice cream and the girl at the ice cream shop gave me a bowl of water. Don’t tell Mum but my sister accidentally on purpose dropped her ice cream so I could finish it off. So I went back later on my own and got you all a nice ice cream now the good weather seems to be back Speak to you later love Thierry xx♥♥xx

Hi Ruby Yesterday when my sister who went to work with my lead and then had the audacity not to come strait home but go shopping for girly human clothes eventually came arrived she said she was so sorry and gave me a huge cuddle. Then she took me on a massive walk down the beach where we met loads of other dogs of all shapes and sizes. I was really good and the other dogs were really nice. Then we got home and while we were out my mum and smallest brother had been to the human pet store ASDA and I got a bag of treats they were shaped like little bones but full of flavour. Hi Ruby Yesterday was another dull and windy day. But true to her word Mum took me down the beach. Of course this time she made sure I had one of my own toys to prevent a reoccurrence of Thursday’s catastrophic leg battering events. I did get into a little bit of trouble though. Mum has an old style Vectra Hatchback, so I jump in the boot for the short trip to the beach. Don’t panic the parcel shelf is removed. You can see it in my going walkies to the river photograph. But Dad always lets me travel on the back seat with my head out of the window. Anyhow going to the beach this wasn’t a problem because I was nice and dry, however returning from the beach was a different story, I was soaking wet and covered in sand. Well what does she expect? So she asked me to jump into the boot no problem, into the boot over the back headrests and onto the back seat. Then it was 20 minutes of fun and games. Out of the back door, into the boot and over the headrest into the back seat. Out of the back door, into the boot and over the headrest into the ……... Round and round I didn’t know what she was playing at but it was a good game even if it did make me a little dizzy. I have just heard her on the phone to Dad and apparently they are getting some bars up at the back head rests I’m not sure what they are, but I bet they’re not good. Hi Ruby Yesterday was a dull kind of day. But not in the life of a young Labrador. I went down to the beach with Mum. And found the biggest stick I could and proceeded to batter mums legs with it she wasn’t too happy. She got no sympathy from Dad either he said something like, “And that’s one of the reasons I don’t let Thierry pick up sticks from the beach”. Huh I thought it was for my health. Today Mum has gone to put down a deposit on my holiday in August at my holiday home just up the road. I get to stay with some old friends and to meet loads of new ones so I am really looking forward to it. When she comes back it’s back down the beach but I think she will take one of my many balls to keep my mind off sticks hehe. As today is Friday I am leaving you a nice piece of battered cod.
