Hi Angus here… Not too bad a weekend.. rained yesterday, I got drenched in the park yesterday morning, but dryer on the beach in the afternoon. Daddy bought me a new toy on Saturday, it was like a mister man with rope arms and legs. Sunday evening I pulled all the stuffing out and laid it across the living room floor. We played with the rest of it for a while, but it ended up in the bin. It’s been cloudy today. Hope it’s brighter where you are. Love and licks, Angus.. treat today is a large steak, and chips.

Hi Sally, NEWS FLASH....NEWS FLASH.....NEWS FLASH..... ANOTHER SHOCK HORROR AWE FILLED SENSATION. People of Berkshire in the United of Kingdoms have been stunned by the incredible news from the davidmh kennel. Her Princessliness Sarika ....... a member of The Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla Royal Household, she of the ”butter wouldn’t melt” expression, she of the human eyes and the perfumed botty burps, the Laydee of the Month of Lurve, also known as Her Gorgeousness and, by Purdey, as Miss Goody Twoshoes............ has disgraced herself. On a walk this morning she did a Purdey, SHE ROLLED IN SOMETHING UNMENTIONABLE AND VERY SMELLY. Her human slave (now on tranquillisers) and the incorrigible one, the Poomonster, looked on in complete bewilderment. The sleeping dobes has yet to express an opinion. TV news crews from the Doggy Channel are on site and the Ambulance Service are administering to many stunned passers-by. What next?!!!! Will Sarika become the Poomonster? Will Purdey give up her title willingly? Will Max wake up? A bottle of pop and a fillet steak for you while we are waiting for answers to these fundamental questions. x

Afternoon Sally. Hope all is well where you are. It is freezing cold here today. Mum has said I can start wearing my new coat soon. It is bright purple and very fetching! I saw a hare on my walk this morning. It was huge, and it just stared at me, before racing away. It was very, very fast so I just let it run. It was far too fast for me to even think about chasing it! Hehe! Take care my friend, and stay warm. Treat today is a hot water bottle and a hat and scarf! Lotsa love Harvey x x Sloppy licks Katie and Norman x x

Hi Sally, I think Maxwell has turned into a fish as we have now “enjoyed” a veritable shoal of fish farts. I am not actually sure that “enjoyed” is the right word there! However I cannot find any fins on him so I asked the local “she who knows absolutely everything about dogs” and she said I had to squeeze some glands in his nether regions. “SQUEEZE......”GLANDS”..... .”MAX’S NETHER REGIONS”.......”ME”. I don’t think so, that’s the sort of thing you PAY someone else to do.......Mrs Davidmh, have you got any cash, would you like some? It has also been all quiet here as far as Purdey is concerned, no rolling in, no treading in nor scoffing of unmentionables. Which is TROUBLING because I said that pigs would fly before that happened. I now go outside with considerable trepidation...it is ok being hit by a bird poo from 100 feet but PIG POO!! Goodnight Vienna methinks. Her Princessliness remains just that so today she is sending over some cash (should you have Max’s problem) and a golfing umbrella for your slave, just in case pigs do fly! X PS the one good thing about fish farts (what AM I writing!!!!) is that I have discovered that my reflexes still work, you would not believe how quickly I got out of the sitting room yesterday!!!

Angus is back!! Hello.. well, Daddy came back on Saturday and I made a big fuss of him. He bought me a rugby ball. I put a hole in it now..hehehe.. The other good news is that I found the ram’s horn and it is in Daddy’s car at the moment. How are you all? Hope you are fine. The weather has been nice, so I’ve been able to go out, and Daddy gave me 3 walks on Saturday..I think he missed me too. Leaving you some Coconut cake.. thanks for looking after the kennel! PS I got sussed.. the nice neighbours next door told daddy that I have been pinching pears that have fallen from their tree. I ate one in front of them all on Sunday.. they laughed!!

Afternoon Sally. Hope all is well with you today. It's a beautiful Autumn day here - quite chilly but sunny. I had a lovely long hike this morning, and was quite tired when I got home, but mum has said we are off on the same walk later this afternoon. I bet I sleep well tonight! Hehe! My hedgehog pals are still visiting my garden. They were there last night, having a right feast and again, I wasn't allowed out until they had gone! I don't know, banned from my garden because of a couple of hedgehogs! Hehe! Take care my friend, and treat today is a chocolate chip cookie. Lotsa love Harvey x x Sloppy licks Katie and Norman x x x x x x

Hi Sally, NOT THE BEST 24 HOURS. First of all Max did a “fish fart”, unfortunately he was sitting on my lap at the time. Owners of older dogs will probably know about fish farts, owners of younger dogs have a treat in store. I am not articulate enough to describe the noxious lingering pong that results. Then on our walk Sarika came back lame, by the looks of things she got a stone caught in her paw, no cuts but bruises. While I was sorting her out I noticed that Purdey had trailed some mud on the floor. I picked it up and sniffed it....WHY DID I DO THAT? WHY DID I PICK IT UP? WHY ON EARTH DID I SNIFF IT? It is fair to say that I now regret picking it up and, very particularly, sniffing it. The little darling had obviously walked in what she normally rolls in, deer poo I think. I very nearly joined my clothes in the washing machine. So indeed NOT THE BEST 24 HOURS and now there is the next 24 to look forward to, OH DEAR. Today the girls are sending over some spare kisses and Max is sending a cork and a nose clip. PS Despite being well snogged Tommy didn’t turn into a prince, perhaps because he is a toad rather than a frog? But at least he has a smile on his face now! x

Afternoon Sally. Hope all is well with you today. It is another lovely day here - dry but chilly. Just the sort of day I like! Well, I now have two hedgehogs residing in my garden! Mum went out yesterday to buy them some proper food, but the pet shop was all sold out, so she ended up buying kitten food instead! Apparently, they love that too. She also bought two little dishes for them! She put the food out last night at 7.30 and it was gone within the hour so they love it! They will now bring all their friends and have a party in my garden. I can see it happening! I needed to go out last night, so before she let me out, off mum went, armed with a torch on hedgehog hunt. She said I would frighten them if I went out. How very dare she? I hope my neighbours feel sorry for me - seeing my mum all hunched over, wandering round the garden with a torch, chattering away in the pitch black! What a life I have with this woman! She did buy me a new toy yesterday though, so she can't be that bad - I suppose! hehe! Take care my friend and treat today is a chunk of chocolate cake. Mum got two yesterday for her birthday, so I have hidden one away to share among my pals! Lotsa love Harvey x x x Sloppy licks Katie and Norman x x x x

Hi Sally, what a lovely weekend, perhaps THAT was our long awaited summer? We walked up the Thames a couple of times and much fun was had by all....well, except perhaps for the duck which Purdey chased.....or the tennis ball which Sarika managed to sink.... it is a tough life being a tennis ball round here! The weekend’s big news was that Sarika and Purdey found a new friend who we are calling Tommy (pic in kennel if you can get there!). Max hasn’t met Tommy (who might even be a prince, who knows) because dobes opted for sleep rather than exercise. Because of Tommy the girlies are sending over a HALL.....Purdey wanted to send mouthwash too but that is her problem, serves her right for picking up Tommy with her mouth......all will become obvious, hopefully. Have fun x
