Hi Sam, today a tip for the humans. If you decide to ponce yourself up a bit with a quick squirt of Armani Code (men’s version, he added quickly!!!)....well you never know who you might meet on a “walkies”, it could be one of those SIMPLY GORGEOUS LADIES FROM DOGGYSNAPS.....anyway, to continue....make sure that the NOZZLE is not pointing at your eye. Because BLOODY HELL, ARMANI CODE STINGS!!!! (Note to self....must wear glasses when applying aftershave). TYPICALLY the girlie gundogs and dobes, who are all fine, were no support to their aged human slave in his time of need but were seen sniggering behind their paws at his pain and, in particular, his use of the English language! So it is love to you lot from them and the currently partly blind but actually now also very fragrant me. X

Hi Sam, so our walk went really well. The wind was blowing a gale and seemed to have dried up most of the tracks, despite the recent torrential rain. There were some nasty filthy puddles where the muddy water was black but otherwise all was great. My gorgeous Purdey (I absolutely adore her really) was a darling, a paragon of virtue, a simply well behaved girlie, no noxious things were subjected to her backstroke, no none at all, it was a MIRACLE really. And as for the Princessliness, well Sarika was as always “mad as a box of frogs”, full of beans and fun. She always sticks close to me on our walks unless there is a leaf, moth, butterfly, JUMBO JET etc to chase. Wonderful. So I bent down to give them both a kiss (yes, I know I am a soppy old sod) and was immediately engulfed in girlie gundogs. Their paws were round my neck, they were in my arms, everywhere, and I got subjected to the treatment, licks and kisses. I love those moments, they are so very precious.......I am not sure when I remembered that they both had spent a bit of very recent time in one of those “nasty filthy puddles” previously mentioned. Was it before or after I noticed the condition of my clothes? Suffice to say that Max is currently watching the washing machine do its thing. AND THAT BEGS THE QUESTION..is watching it hypnotising him, it is on so often, so he is not really asleep he is actually in a trance? Hmmmmmm. I wonder how you tell. AND FINALLY...A man went to into an hardware store and picked up a can of fly spray. "Is this good for wasps?" he asked the assistant. "No, it kills them" was the reply.

HI, how did all the moving go and did you find your 3rd favourite toy? We've been really up in the air here with Sadie's bad accident but she is recovering well and her hip is all plated and pinned and like new. Mum sobbed when she got the vet bill though. We had a new 4 legged purring addition to the family; Mojo a tiny little white kitten who was, can you believe it, thrown out a car window! He's not sure of us right now but Duke will win him over. Hope the rain stops and we can have a huge beach walk this weekend. Big box of treats coming right at you. Hi Sam, how are you, soon to be numb gum David here today. I managed to break a front tooth vertically again yesterday, it serves me right for eating broken biscuit cake straight from the fridge (I blame she who has just got back from university, I hid the cake so she wouldn't pinch it!). "That is a very crunchy biscuit" I thought until I found the gap in my tooth. I am temporarily being referred to as FANG but at least my soon-to be visited dentist is beautiful. All is well here otherwise, glorious weather and all the doggies are enjoying life. As a treat we are sending over a bit of broken biscuit cake (if you find any very crunchy bits perhaps you could let me have them back) x

Hi there, hope you are well, our silly mummy has gone and caught a cold but luckily daddy has had this week off work, mummy better get well soon or she won't feel like walking us and that would be just horrible. They have ordered a paddling pool for us though and wish it would hurry up and come so we can get in it. Leaving you some chicken soup today xxx PS if you want to vote for Bally please remember voting ends on sunday at 5PM 25th May, thank you.

Hi Sam, today the girls and dobes are sending over a very large matchbox. Open it very carefully because in it you will find a rather large live beetle found by Purdey yesterday morning. We are sending it over in hope that you will know what to do with it because it is scaring the living daylights out of Purdey, Sarika and Mr Wimp (ie me!). I think Max is actually pretending to be asleep so that he doesn't have to get involved! PS I'm having a "seventies" moment (not age, just the decade) and have made a lemon meringue pie, so a piece of that is enclosed too (but not in the matchbox because that beetle is so SCARY. Have fun x.

Hi there how are you? today the weather is not so good, no sunbathing today but me and the dogs have been able to go in the garden most days, I even managed to get Bally off the sunbed so I could use it, she does love the sun but also water just as much, Jack though prefers to lay in the shade. Hope the weather gets better for the weekend. Please don't forget to vote for Bally as Junes Laydee of the Month as it would mean so much to her, we have only had her since the end of January and love her sooo much. Treat today is tuna and pasta bake xxx

Hi Sam, this is a quick visit before we go walkies as the weather is changing, blast. Just when I was getting used to dry and clean (the dogs) and a suntan (mine). So it is away with the suntan lotion (mine) and out again with the wellies (mine) and the towels and wash basin (dogs). Typical. To cheer myself up I made another vodka and orange trifle (hic!) because it went (hic) down very well (hic) before and the girls and dobes are dropping off some of that as well as a tennis ball (from Sarika), an empty bird's egg (from Purdey) and some zzzzzzs (from Max). Have fun x

Hi there mate, how are you? hope you are well. The weather here has been hot for days and the people are complaining that it's too hot now, too hot too cold too wet or windy it's never right is it! Now for the news Bally has been nominated for Junes Laydee of the Month and she is very excited and it would be great if she won then we would have a Hunk and a Laydee in the house. Treat today is a jacked potato with lots of butter topped with cheese and pickle xxx
