Youhoooo Shane, your few days away in Wales sounded very nice, Mummy has been in the same area, years ago, and it was very beautiful. Glad Dad managed to get his "steam train fix", he would like it round here, as there are steam trains that run most week-ends, have you heard of Haworth, well that's where they are. It gets very busy during the summer.xx it's a glorious warm sunny day, but this morning it was thick fog when we set off to meet Sally. Mummy could hardly see where she was driving, but she knew once she got down into the valley the fog would clear and sure enough it did. Me and Sal had a lovely run along the Great Northern Trail, but Sally always leaves me as there are so many different smells I spend my time sniffing everything and Sally gets fed up. I caught her up eventually 'cos she was doing her stalking act as usual, this time it was a collie pup who was getting very excited. Her Mum made her sit down and then Sally went up to give her a good sniff, and then I had a sniff as well, and no, I didn't have one of my hissy fits I stayed very calm, Mummy was talking to me, and telling me that she was a friend, and I was perfectly ok. This afternoon I met Deisel down the lane, he didn't jump all over me, just gave me a lick, so I think he is turning over a new leaf, that is twice now he hasn't gone bonkers and rugy tackled me to the floor. hahahaha Well leaving you roast chicken today. wags and sniffs Jenny xxxxxxx

Youhoooo Shane I am fed up and ignoring all commands from Mum, I am teaching her a lesson 'cos I couldn't go to Roscos party, and there I was ready for the off all excited in my designer frock, and then at the last minute she said I couldn't go. Now how cruel and mean is that. I sulked for the rest of the night while her and Dad entertained, (i woof this loosely) some friends who decided to pay a visit. I ignored them as well, and just looked at them from my bed with my sad eyes brimming with tears. Ahhhhhh. This morning I have been for a nice walk up the track that leads to the moors, tomorrow I am meeting Sally on the Great Northern Trail so I am looking forward to that. I might go and put my head on Mummys knee later on, but at the moment I am playing the hard done by doggy. Leaving you some salmon. wags and sniffs Jenny xxxxxxxx

Cooooeeeee Shane well I didn't want to go very far on my walks today, I had such a long walk in the woods yesterday I am feeling a bit tired, so I have just ambled down the lane in the glorious sunshine. We had just rounded the bend who should we bump into but Deisel and his Dad, thankfully Deisel was on his way home after a 2 hour walk so I didn't have the privilege of him jumping all over me as the poor thing was tired himself. Phew. Leaving you lamb chops wags and sniffs Jenny xxxxxxx

Hi Shane, all is quiet here. The kennel remains in a state of astonishment after the princessliness and the poo rolling incident. Sarika remains embarrassed. So many questions...Is she still a princess? Is she the new poomonster? Can a princess be a poomonster? Can a poomonster be queen? What is the Hungarian word for poomonster? I HAVE ALSO SPOTTED PURDEY WINKING AT SARIKA AND GIGGLING BEHIND HER PAW ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS, THE SMUG LITTLE SOD. Max has yet to offer an opinion, remaining asleep, surprise surprise, although I think that he is pretending to be asleep to avoid confrontation, A TYPICAL MALE! The good news is that my kennel now works properly...HOORAY...but I had to take all my pics off which was a pity because I was really proud that they had been favourited so many times. Anyway I will hopefully sort and upload some new ones over the weekend. Today I am delivering for all the doggies a kiss, a cuddle and a bonio and for the slaves a slice of the treacle tart I have just made, with clotted cream of course. Have fun. x

Youhooooo Shane, now you will have to be brave and fearless when they take your tooth out, I am sure once it is gone you will feel much better and will be able to chew on that side of your mouth. Good news about your lumps going down, tablets obviously doing the trick. another day of racing round like a whirlwind, it's lovely and sunny. I've just come back from a long walk in the woods with Mummy and her friend. We sat down on a bench in one of the clearings and watched a couple of squirrels scamper about, I'm a bit passed chasing them now, I couldn't catch the little devils when I was younger, so there is no chance now, but a gal can dream. Thank you for the treat, bbq chicken for you. wags and sniffs jenny xxxxxx

Morning Shane, how you feeling today my friend, lost anymore teeth, I've been keeping my eye out for them! Well, the suns shining here today, and no rain, paws crossed it will stay like this all day! I'm hating this cold wet weather, my back right leg is getting really stiff and causing me to walk abit funny, so mums worried now that I might need crucia ligament surgery on my other leg now as I'm showing the same signs as I did last year, which isn't good. I'll find out when I go for my booster on Friday, see what the vet thinks! Leaving you a slice of jumbone, enjoy your your day, Love Biggie xx

Managed both walks without getting wet, never saw any of my friends, Mummy thinks I have been asleep for the afternoon, she hasn't noticed the upturned waste paper basket. JENNNNNY she has now, I am going to scarper, thanks for the treat, fish pie with spinach for you. wags and sniffs Jenny xxxxxxx

Cooooeeeeee Shane Another lovely sunny day, the wind has dropped so it isn't as cold, I even dared to go out without wearing my fleezy coat. I have just come back from my walk round the reservoir and in the woods, bit muddy in parts, but it is so lovely there with the trees changing colour and the birds singing. Shut up Mum, let me tell them about that dog. We were strolling along without a care in the world minding our own business when this little very hairy dog ran up behind us, very friendly tail wagging. Well of course, I was about to have one of my hissy fits, but instead I only barked twice and then let it have a sniff at me, and I sniffed it back. Just when Mummy was wondering where the owner was, she heard somebody calling Missy, well this little dog was taking no notice of "Missy" and continued to jump round me. Mummy had a look at her collar and yep, this was Missy. Now the woods are quite big and the shouting seemed to be quite a way off so we started to walk back along the path and little Missy followed. We passed another dog walker who said yes there was a lady looking for her dog the other side of the reservoir. By this time we had reached the edge of the woods that skirt the reservoir and there was Missys owner looking very distraught, apparently she has been taking Missy for re-call training, and thought she was doing very well, but this was the first time she had actually put it to the test, and of course little Missy just took off and ignored all commands. She was very relieved to get Missy back safe and sound. She is now going to do more practice with the re-call. Leaving you toad in the hole. wags and sniffs Jenny xxxxxxxx

Hi Shane, NEWS FLASH....NEWS FLASH.....NEWS FLASH..... ANOTHER SHOCK HORROR AWE FILLED SENSATION. People of Berkshire in the United of Kingdoms have been stunned by the incredible news from the davidmh kennel. Her Princessliness Sarika ....... a member of The Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla Royal Household, she of the ”butter wouldn’t melt” expression, she of the human eyes and the perfumed botty burps, the Laydee of the Month of Lurve, also known as Her Gorgeousness and, by Purdey, as Miss Goody Twoshoes............ has disgraced herself. On a walk this morning she did a Purdey, SHE ROLLED IN SOMETHING UNMENTIONABLE AND VERY SMELLY. Her human slave (now on tranquillisers) and the incorrigible one, the Poomonster, looked on in complete bewilderment. The sleeping dobes has yet to express an opinion. TV news crews from the Doggy Channel are on site and the Ambulance Service are administering to many stunned passers-by. What next?!!!! Will Sarika become the Poomonster? Will Purdey give up her title willingly? Will Max wake up? A bottle of pop and a fillet steak for you while we are waiting for answers to these fundamental questions. x

Woohoooo, we`re back! and we have missed you all. Mam and Dad had a great time in Greece chilled out and relaxed (mam tells me she got through 6 books!). Only down side was her severe heat rash, kept her in the apartment for 4 days. She has taken quite a few photos of the goats and cats she said there were a lot of cats (which of course she fed at every opportunity.) They arrive back home at 3.15am Thursday and I got home at 10.45am Friday, I had a whale of a time at the new kennels, they made a big fuss of me and I met lots of new dogs, in fact, they wanted to keep me! Mam said no of course (thank goodness!) They went off shopping as cupboards were bare and had a stack of mail to open and a pile of washing to do! I was of course very helpful, I chewed away at a cow ear :D. Leaving a big bowl of kleftiko and fresh veg (that's Greek stew) and I have it on good authority is very tasty, enjoy. xxx

Coooooeeee my lovely long legged friend. I bet sliding across the floor was great fun, once you got over the shock, you could become a professional floor skater, put dusters on your feet and charge them a fortune for polishing the floor. Well done Shane, going for a walk with a strange person isn't easy if you have never done it before, but I am really glad that you overcame your fear and went for it. what a state I was in last night, I went out for my last wee before bed, and it was torrential rain, well I needed to do "a whoopsie" as well, so of course I had to perform with all this water landing on me, it was just as though somebody had emptied a bucket full over my head. I rushed back inside and just stood perfectly still looking stunned, and before Mummy could towel me I shook myself, all over Mum hahahaha. Well there was no way I was going to bed, so Mummy put the fire back on and gave me a real good dry and I nodded off in front of the fire. Bliss. Today it is sunny with a clear blue sky but quite chilly, I have just come back from my afternoon walk, just down the lane, the fields and moors are much to soggy to go romping on, and I didn't feel like getting my undercarriage wet. I am now off for my siesta but I shall wake up as soon as I hear the rattle of the biscuit tin. Leaving you roast beef with a mustard glaze. wags and sniffs Jenny xxxxxxxxxxx

Youhooooo Shane, I have been run ragged, jumped on, got hold of by the scruff of my neck dragged in the muck and had a whale of a time. Yes. I saw Harry the Golden Retriever this morning and we had a good run in his Grans field, it was rather windy but it didn't rain thank goodness. Harry is still as boisterous as ever, but he is now obeying commands without a treat so that is really clever of him. He is growing up pretty quickly, and is a lot bigger than me. Mummy is going to take another photo of us, next time we see him. I only went up half way up the walk at the back of our house this afternoon, did my whoopies and came straight back home, I was nearly blown away with the wind. Leaving you beef stew and dumplings. yummy. wags and sniffs Jenny xxxxxxxxx

Coooeeeeeee Shane. isn't it strange, my Daddy sounds just like yours, Years after Mum has had a sort out of the wardrobes, Daddy always says "have you seen my so and so" Never wore it when he had it. Men. Your walk sounded very nice going round the lake with the ducks and swans, but I know just what you mean about the wind coming off the water, our reservoir is just like that. Well it is sunny with a cold wind, definately fleezy coat for me and thermal undies for Mummy. Well what a disappointing day I have had, nothing remotely exciting has happened. This morning I went on the walk at the back of our house, right to the top, never saw any other living soul except the horses and sheep. None of my friends were about, but by jove who could blame them it was a bit nippy round the nether regions. This afternoon I just went down the lane, I hate going to the same place twice in the same day, and if Mum takes me the same way I dig my paws in and won't budge, and then the battle of the wills start, which she usually wins grrrrr. Tomorrow I am meeting Harry the Golden Retriever I haven't seen him for a while so that should be fun as long as he doesn't jump on me. Thank you for the treat here is a crumpet oozing with butter. yummy. wags and sniffs Jenny xxxxxxx

Shane you are very naughty you never told me you had cysts, hope the antibiotics do the trick. As for having you tooth out, piece of cake, I had 3 out beginning of the year, I did wake up with dryed blood on my face and very dopey ( no comments thank you ) but once I had a snooze at home I was fine and even ate some chicken, so it won't be too bad. Fancy seeing a heron, they are beautiful birds, I just love the way they stand in the shallow water looking down. Now be a good boy Shane, isn't it great having broadband. wags and sniffs again Jenny xxxxxxx

Youhoooo Shane what a smashing time we had at Stellas house wrecking party, I still have a bit of curtain stuck in my teeth. A lovely sunny day although a bit breezy. Now after my exciting encounter with the 2 ewes yesterday I thought it was going to be boring day, but would you believe there was a kestrel sat in the corner of our windowledge at the back of the house. Mummy was going upstairs and she saw it just sat there with its' eyes closed. Mummy stood ever so quiet didn't move a muscle and just watched it. She did wonder if it was injured, 'cos it was there for a good half hour, but eventually if took off and she saw it hunting. It was obviously enjoying the sunshine, as it is a bit of a suntrap at the back when there is no wind. I met Sally on the moor earlier and we had a great romp together as I haven't seen her for a while, by the time we had finished racing round we were dripping wet, as the moor is still wet in places, so Mummy had to towel me off before I could get in the car. Why she bothers I don't know as the car is my mobile kennel and it is covered in white hairs, so muddy paws won't make any difference. Off for a kip now, thank you for the treat, here is salmon for you. wags and sniffs Jenny xxxxxxx
