hello my pretty friend, well so far today both me and gypsy have been good!apart from the accident of us knocking over the treasure chest while doing a bit of wrestling not sure why mum was shouting at dad to get gypsy while she chased me(maybe it was because gypsy had half a sausage she is so lucky!!all i managed to get was an empty box!)thing was they didnt chase the cat and she was inside the treasure chest!mind you she is getting lots of fuss just now as she has a poorly paw and beleive me shes lapping it up!!we do so try to be good but somehow things just happen ,brought you in an empty box to play with and some sausages from gypsy tell me if they are good as i never got to try any!!off to help mum in the garden since the sun is out for a change see you soon luv and woofs xxx*rosie & gypsy*xxx

Hey Freddie. We havent been on in a long time. We have just been so busy (including Laura). We have been so many places, theres so many i cant even remember them all. And its been so hot so far so i have been playing in the water mostly, i never get tired of swimming, even if its cold!. The only boring day was when the humans went to alton towers and i had to stay home with grumpy Milo! Just imagine the fun i would of had at alton towers, how could they not take me! I would have loved it. Well anyway, i am off to a dog show on sunday which shoud be fun, i hope i actually win something this time! Fun dog shows are so great, all those doggy's, i get so excited. Milo on the other hand just lays on the grass sulking, well he did sulk until Laura bought him a pigs ear! then he cheered up and sat chewing it whilst i went in for my classes. Well, me and milo will try and get on doggysnaps more often now the summers over. Speak soon, Fraggle x and Milo too x P.S- Treat today is a handfull of chicken treats x

Hi. All is well and, temporarily no doubt, quiet here - I am surrounded by dozing dogs. Today the girls and doberdog are sending over some of my christmas cake mix (I know that it is yummy because I have just licked the spoon!). This week's dilemma for David is.....decorating or DoggySnaps......decorating or DoggySnaps......Hmm ..what a choice! Sadly I have a feeling that it will have to be ..decorating.....otherwise another "D" word..........divorce..........might feature. Have fun x

guess what my friend?im feeling a lot better,mums off to get me some new toys again(its a mystery to me they all seem to fall apart? )mum says its raining cats and dogs today but all i can see is water!!them humans are so weird!ive been doing some detective work this morning as my squeaky toys keep going missing(usually when dads programmes are on the tv!)i did try to ask shez the cat if she knew but she whacked me in the face the cheek of it!!i think she is guilty what do you think?either that or she just doesnt understand me!!not sure i i will ever understand them humans and cats!!got you some lovely chicken pizza today with a cream doughnut for afters off to do some more detective work will come back soon luv and woofs *xxxrosiexxx*

Hi Freddie! Late night visit tonight, had a busy day. We went to the beach this morning to chase some birds, then mum insisted on going to the place they call 'Ikea' for new house stuff - still she brought me back a new cuddly hippo so I'm not complaining! Then we went for a run round the woods before tea. Martha & Zeb have gone to bed so I'm doing the treat run - tonight its a dime bar and some hazelnut hot chocolate, love Ruby xx

THE JOYS OF DOG OWNERSHIP....CHAPTER 37. What is it about me and dog poo? If I pick up a poo covered stick it is always the wrong end, if I throw away a clearing up stick after use Sarika brings it back, wiping the wrong end on my trousers. It seems to follow me around whatever I do. Perhaps, like Purdey, I should confont it head on and roll in it? On the other hand, perhaps not. Yesterday the girls were in the garden - currently not under water, HOORAY. One of them did a poo - I will not say which one because she, being a princess, is normally above such things. So I got a nappy sack out of my pocket - do you know that, whatever I am wearing, I always have nappy sacks in a pocket, even my dressing gown. What is that all about? Anyway, I digress - I got the nappy sack and a shovel and put the poo into the sack...........It is difficult to remember exactly when I noticed that the nappy sack had a large hole in it. I really cannot remember whether it was before or after I noticed that a load of dog poo had gone straight through the nappy sack and had landed on my sock and slipper. Sadly they were both on my foot at the time!......I did not know that I knew some of the words that came out of my mouth at that moment. I do not normally drink alcohol before the evening, yesterday I made an exception by several hours. In sympathy with my plight and still working on "be prepared" the girls and doberdog are today sending over a clean pair of socks and some washing powder and, practical as always, a cork. Hmmmmm. I will leave you to work out what to do with the cork but will give you a couple of clues....a) dog and b) its bottom. Have fun x

THE JOYS OF DOG OWNERSHIP....CHAPTER 135. Purdey, the hairy gundog - grey version - was spayed two weeks ago today. As usual, after such an operation, she was allowed restricted exercise and had to kept on the lead. She had her second post-op review late last week. She was passed 100% fit and "ready to run". Took her home from the vets, got changed and out for a walk. Off to the fields and let her off the lead. WOW. I did not know she could run that fast. My amusement at her obvious joy to be free quickly turned to dismay when she spotted what I can only assume was the Eighth Wonder of The World - a pile of deer poo so high that I imagine that the deer responsible was thirty foot tall! She rolled in it, not once, not twice BUT three times. I got her back and attached the lead to her collar which was filthy. I then walked the very smelly hairy gundog (previously grey) home, hoping not to meet anyone I knew on the way. A considerable time was then spent with shampoo and tomato sauce, cleaning and de-smelling the little xxx. I was tempted to write an advertisement for the local newspaper "dogs for sale" columns but decided to pour a large glass of wine instead. Half way througfh the second I began to feel quite mellow!..........Today's treat from Sarika (who, being a princess, is above that sort of thing) and Max (who is too old for all that messing around) and my Bambi equivalent is some shampoo and, of course, a bottle of tomato sauce...best to be prepared! Good Afternoon. It’s been quite an eventfull weekend so far. Friday I had 2 walks and went to pets at home. Dad was saying we were going to get a little friend for somebody. I thought it would be a new puppy for me to boss arround…erm…I mean to look after. But it turns out he is hunting for another Chinchilla to keep Chubs company. But all is not lost yesterday my Aunty ‘A’ the lady 2 doors away. My old friend Blakey’s mum went to see a new puppy called Harvey he is 4 weeks old and when I come back from my holiday I am allowed to meet him. I am so excited. I am going to the kennels on Tuesday for 2 weeks so I am looking forward to my little break from fetching stuff and generaly leading a dogs life at home. I hope to leave another message before I go but my dad seems to be permenantly on the computer looking at a place called hotel. I think this is where the family are going on holiday. Has anybody heard of it? So if you don’t hear from me don’t worry I will be doing bird for a crime I didn’t commit I will speak to you when I get released Love Thierry xx♥♥xx

My mother's illness has meant that I have had no time to do a treating tour for nearly a fortnight. Today's visit coincides with the wonderful news that she is definitely improving, still a way to go but it is a start. And now...the dogs are all well, Purdey very quickly making a 100% recovery from her spay operation. However she was not in my good books yesterday as she, a ball point pen and a fawn carpet had a "coming together". Sarika is, as always, a princess and Max is quite clearly enjoying touring the kitchen in his bed - a now daily occurence thanks to the girls. As for Rodney/Roberta the snail....did you know that snail slime is so thick that a snail can cross a razor blade without getting hurt? Well, personally, I think that might depend upon who is holding the razor - bring it on Rodders! Today's treat is some of my smoked salmon followed by key lime pie. Enjoy.

bit late again tonite sorry mums still busy decorating,and ive been leaf catching and embarassing mum!!how was i to know mum needed her underwear that i ran away with while she was in the bath!funny thing was she came running after me with a towel wrapped around her then sort of crawled past the window (was beginnng to think there was something wrong with her legs!)them humans are so weird dont you think?got you some nice salmon steaks tonite and a yummy cream cake for afters luv and woofs *xxxrosie xxx

Hi. Have just collected Purdey from the vets after her spay operation. She is still a bit spaced out and looks a bit sad (but then she always does) but got a wonderful and very gentle welcome from Sarika. And now back to the usual stuff......You might have read the thread started by Spinrule in The Lampost about the new cosmetic product - snail slime gel. Well after quite a bit of effort I have managed to collect some from Rodney the snail (who is still answering to the name Roberta, the little ...!) and this is today's treat from the girls and doberdog. Use sparingly because there isn't that much but it might get rid of a wrink! Oh and I've added a piece of rump steak too. Enjoy.

Hello Freddie, well its got to be comfort food this horrible, damp and miserable weather, so I'm sending some steak and kidney pudding with mashed potatoes and thick onion gravy followed by treacle tart and custard. hello again,been practising really hard today for my olympics especially the leaf catching event caught 10 in 5 mins not bad timing dont you think?,then there is the teddy destruction event 10 mins for that next time i will be quicker he,he,im so pleased of my 200 metre sprint especially as the humans cant run as fast as us he,he its great when they are trying to catch us especially if we have something in our mouths they want he,he,got you steak pie and veg today with apple pie and custard for afters off to re-charge my batteries for later see you soon luv and woofs *xxxrosiexxx*
