Yia sas, Mandy. Ti kanis? It's good to meet you. Mum has told us all about Greece (they go to Zakynthos regularly, as she still has family there), and says it's not the best place to be a dog, or cat, or anything with four legs for that matter.... We have a friend who's been rehomed here in the UK via the Greek Animal Rescue. Anyway, good to meet you. Please call in for a chat and inthe meantime, hope you enjoy the keftedes Mum made. Harper loves skordalia but Mum says she shouldn't have it. Love to you all from Gunner & Harper. xxx

Hi Mandy. Just making my way through my friends list, to try and touch base with everyone. I hope you are well. Mum now knows what I would look like if I were a chocolate dog! I found a really filthy muddle (muddy puddle) the other day and thoroughly indulged! :D It was really sticky mud too, so she had no option but to put me in the shower and bath me. This was a new thing, we got rid of our bath last summer. Now we have a big shower instead. It went better than she expected, and of course, when I shook, it was mainly contained inside the cubicle. Only thing was, as she reached up to change the angle of the shower the water ran along her arm and into her sleeve! Ha ha! (Why should I be the only one to get wet!) She also used an old icecream carton, which she filled and sploshed on the bits the shower couldn't reach. I went in black, and came out beautiful! Well worth the effort I made...(!) Have a great weekend, don't over-indulge! Here's some dog friendly chocolate for you. Hugs. Liffey. xxx

Hi Mandy, THE GOOD NEWS, it is DDDD65 (David's Dreadful Diet Day 65) and yesterday was weigh day...guess what, 1 stone 2 lb gone now. I am very chuffed because I did scoff a lot of really yummy stuff at the wedding on Saturday. I guess that the excess has gone because it has got jolly cold here and I have exercised and shivered it off. Turning off the central heating and keeping all the windows open was clearly one of my better ideas although I am not convinced that Mrs Davidmh agrees, it is the first time she has ever had a bath while wearing gloves and a hat!!! Ho Ho (only joking but what a very good idea...Hmmmmm...!). And now the doggies: well, they are all blooming, the girls are getting plenty of exercise and Max is slowly increasing his awake hours. THE UGH NEWS, speaking of Max, he had an "accident" of the "dumping" type in the kitchen yesterday; guess who cleared it up? It wasn't him, it wasn't me or the begloved and behatted wife and, of course, it wasn't the princessliness Sarika. Purdey cleared it up, if you know what I mean! As a result the Poomonster will not be kissing me in the near future! THE TREAT NEWS, I made a thai red prawn curry for Mrs Davidmh yesterday and there is some left over so the girls and doberdog are dropping that off with some sticky rice. Enjoy x

Hey Mandy. Hope you are well. It's brilliant weather here! Really sunny, deep blue sky. Went for my walk/run this morning, and again went into the river for a soak twice! Makes mum feel chilly! :D But when I get out and bring the ball back to her, running, she can see the steam coming off me. So she knows how I can stand going into the chilly water. Now I am chilling out after playing with my treat toy. Here's some treats for you, and a hugs. Liffey. xx

Whilst browsing the forums earlier (couldn't get into my kennel following yesterday's changes) saw the "slomax" name on line. It has been a long time so thought I'd drop by to say "hope all is well with you" and leave Mandy a treat. Regards David

I think it is so wonderful that Mandy was lucky enough to pick the right place to look so cute. She captured your heart. Lucky her. It looks like she now has a great life - running free and so well fed. Too bad there weren't more people to befriend a lonely dog. Sending best wishes from Markham, Ontario, Canada. Maureen
