hiya, daddy has written a short story what will continue every saturday here is part one - shadow went to bed and buried her head in her cushion - so her dad would not wake her at 6.00am for a walk she was determined to have a lay in, she closed her eyes to go to sleep, then she felt a tapping on her nose - she opened one eye and saw a little glowing thing, she thought it was a bug and liufted a paw to brush it off her nose, then the glowing thing spoke -excuse me, i am not a bug i am a fairy, shadow opened her other eye and looked astonished, the fairy spoke again my name is lily but my friends call me lil for short, i have been sent to collect you - i will explain more later, let me put this magic ring on your collar so you can talk, shadow thought she was dreaming so she flicked her nose with her paw - OUCH - i am not dreaming she thought - she lifted her head so lily could put the ring on her collar - lily said so say hello - so shadow still in shock said hello - oh good it works said lily - shadow said golom is not sneaking around is he? lily asked, who is this golom you speak of? oh uh no-one replied shadow, so shadow went to a mirror to look at the ring, upon seeing the ring shadow said my precious, lily said did you say something, shadow blushed, lily said the reason i am here - it was told to us fairys and written in a phropecy that when us fairys are in mortal danger - a dog with an arrow marking on its nose will appear and help us, shadow said i did not appear - you found me, lily said yes i did find you - how? i turned the page of the written prophecy and your address was on the other side - prophets are never wrong- the thing is our king and queen has been kidnapped, and our way of life is in danger - will you help us, TO BE CONTINUED ................................................................................todays treat is spag bol and garlic bread, and a thank you for reading daddys story

Hi Floyd, what a lovely weekend, perhaps THAT was our long awaited summer? We walked up the Thames a couple of times and much fun was had by all....well, except perhaps for the duck which Purdey chased.....or the tennis ball which Sarika managed to sink.... it is a tough life being a tennis ball round here! The weekend’s big news was that Sarika and Purdey found a new friend who we are calling Tommy (pic in kennel if you can get there!). Max hasn’t met Tommy (who might even be a prince, who knows) because dobes opted for sleep rather than exercise. Because of Tommy the girlies are sending over a HALL.....Purdey wanted to send mouthwash too but that is her problem, serves her right for picking up Tommy with her mouth......all will become obvious, hopefully. Have fun x

Hello my dear friends, how are you? well mum and dad are into redecorating/remodeling the house so far they have started on the laundry room they put in a new floor and new walls and roof and now comes the fun painting part, we do love to help paint! We have also been very helpful in clearing out the room by carrying various items out of the room and into our beds to keep them safe!! Prada had her 4 month Birthday on Monday so leaving some chocolate cake to celebrate xx Roper, Sox, Moose, Badger, Bear and Prada.

Hi Floyd, I have been painting with my tail & for days had a 'Applewhite' designer tail with delicate flicks on the ends, the cats have been keeping me busy, bit scared of Tigger, he sometimes blocks me in the kitchen & I have to bark so my Mum & Dad can remove him to enable me to get pass, it is those sharp things at the end of his claws, I don't like, he is into everything, the washing machine, dishwasher, he jumps onto my Mum back & she has to piggyback him to the settee, he has even learnt how to paw out the cat food out of tins. Do you remember Arthur, the white cat on TV a few years back?, he has copied that trick. Zebedee, sadly has been catching birds, we tried to save them, but as you know, once a cat catches one, sadly their fate is sealed, she attempted to revitalised one with water, he did respond but a few seconds later died in her hands. To human news, my Mum tried to set the kitchen alight, she made some watercress homemade soup & turn down the gas when she did something else, forgot to turn it off completely & when later put down her favourite doggy fleece on the stove ready for the next wash, went out to hang the first wash on the line, needless to say, the fleece went up in flames, she was so cross with herself for being so silly but it could have been a lot worse, if it had been Dad's shorts she could have replaced them from M&S but this fleece was a one off. I have been off my medication apart from joint care, to see how I fare, still get tired and I still get a limp but now the weather is cooler, it doesn't seem as bad, I tend to run around like a mad thing for the first 5 minutes & then run out of energy, if I meet my friend Susie, she keeps me going while the Mums chat. I am leaving you some Cullen Skink, my Mum has learnt her lesson & always double checks the gas ring is turned off. There is probably more to tell, but I haven't been in contact for a while, so might have forgotten some antics. Love, Dylan xx xx

Apologies for not being round for so long but I am sure you are well aware by now that mum is rubbish!!!! We have all been busy though. Saffy got second place in the waggiest tail competition that our training place did on their open fun day (she doesn't get called wiggly-wag for nothing you know) & was only beaten by a dog that even though it didn't wag as fast it wagged longest in the wag off!!!!! Lilly is still going to puppy training classes & proving she is NOT a vicious, biting, attacking, salivating beast but just a bit of a naughty pup who who thinks the world loves her. Honey is now bezzie mates with Lilly (mum thinks it's because they're closer in age) & they both get up to mischief together & have lots of wrestling matches & chew things they shouldn't. I am also doing well even tough I am back on the dreaded D.I.E.T. as I haven't been for as many walks due to my knees playing me up. Mum says I'm not over weight but need to lose a little bit as I have to be kept 'lean'. Well have you ever heard such things!! Unfortunately due to the D.I.E.T. I am leaving a frozen banana & a carrot today as I couldn't get my paws on any of the good stuff. Enjoy, Holly, Saffy, Honey & Lilly.

Hey Guys, how are you today? Well the weather has gone from 95 degrees to 60 degrees with rain and wind brrrrrr. However should be back up in the 90's by the weekend. Well Roper was spayed on Monday and Daddy (who is a farrier and works on problem horses at the vet clinic on Mondays,) was allowed to scrub in and hold her paw through the operation. She was a very brave girl and got lots of treats and has bounced back well, although she is not to happy that fetch is off limits for a week or two and has started carrying a tennis ball around in her mouth and giving Mum and Dad reproachful looks! Hope all is good with you guys, leaving you some choc chip cookies and a glass of milk xx Roper, Badger, Bear, Moose, Sox and Prada
