Well Hello! Boy is it good to get out of that cage. Hope you all had a great Christmas’s and got totally spoilt, I know we did, we have lots of treats still to consume, but I’m sure we will manage he he he. My leg is doing good, had the stitches out on Saturday but my ear is still a bit mucky so mummy is trying, and boy is she trying let me tell you! To wash it out, but I’m having none of it so run the other way so she has to catch me. I’m sure she speaks some foreign language at the same time, perhaps it make it work better, what do you think? Do your humans speak foreign languages when trying to get you to do something? Strange breed aren’t they?
Little sis went over to see Daisie yesterday at daisiemummy’s and boy did she have some fun, she was covered in mud and as soon as she got home she flaked out and slept for 6 hours! She had to be woken up for her dinner, personally I’d have left her then I could have had it..humpf….Anyway leaving you a big tasty rib eye steak with some chips for a treat today, hope you have a great New Year and hopefully there wont be too many fireworks! Luv ya Vester xx & Heidi xx
Santa Paws is coming to town, Santa Paws is coming to town, San-ta Paws is com-ing to tooooowwn! Yippee! Santa comes tonight and what a good job it’s a full moon so we can see him fly past on his sleigh eh? I’ve been a very good girl and helped mummy and daddy make sausage rolls and mince pies, they were yummy! Vester is behaving himself too, he lives in a huge cage since he had his op, which means I get the sofa! His not too happy about that let me tell you. The humans are going to decorate his cage today with some tinsel to make him feel better, his leg is healing quite well and his really fed up as his only allowed out to visit the garden, but mummy lets him out for cuddles too. Hope Santa brings all you wish for and more,
Hope you and your humans have a fabulous Christmas and we will see you all soon xx Luv n Hugs to all xx Heidi & Vester xx
Hi Max, how are you? Just dropping by whilst I can as I’ve got to see the VET tonight to see if I have an ear infection, if NOT then I can have my operation tomorrow, which mummy is praying for, she would tho eh, it’s not her having it done! Anyway it’s freezing cold here still and I’m still having little walks and sleeping on the sofa all day. The humans brought a nice tree into the house on Sunday, and I thought wahey, an indoor toilet! But NO, I’ve been told under no circumstances is it to be used to lift ones leg against, they are such spoil sports, it would have saved me going out and getting all cold. Anyway in case I can’t pop round for a while, I like to wish you all a very happy Dogmas and hope Santa Paws brings all you wish for. Leaving you a bag full of goodies to keep you going and little girlie also sends a kiss……. Mawh! XXX Vester & Heidi xxx
Hey Max, how are you today? It’s very cold here but nice and sunny and I got to make a new friend this morning on my walk with Daddy, he was the same as me! Daddy said it was really hard to tell us apart, we could have been twins, except he was a boy. Daddy has arranged for us to meet again and have a good old play. Vester wasn’t very happy tho as his not allowed to play at full speed ‘cos of his leg. He has his op next Wednesday and Mummy also finishes work for Christmas, it’s getting really exciting as Santa Paws is coming soon, Mummy is going to put the little tree up at the weekend and hang our stockings up (whatever they are???) It will be my first Christmas with my new family so I’m really looking forward to it…. Leaving you some nice warm sausage rolls and a mug of tea to keep you warm. Heidi & Vester xxx
Hey Max, How are you? It’s been very cold lately hasn’t it? we even had snow on Sunday! Little sis kept licking it, what’s she like eh? We still got Mummy at home all this week with her back, she can only drive for 10 minutes and she works 40 mintues away so we have her company which is lovely! I keep the sofa warm for her and cos I look so content she leaves me there, how smart am I eh? Well I do have to rest my leg as well you know. I keep hearing the humans talk about more surgery and something to do with Christmas so I may be having it then as they can be with me 27/7 while the stitches are in as I like to try and get them out! Little sis is still doing well in her classes but I’m not allowed to go anymore till I’m 100% fit again. Anyway’s hope you enjoy your walks and don’t get too wet, just remember to tell what all the sniffs were like eh? Leaving you some toast and scrambled egg today. Oh if you’ve not voted for my good self for December’s hunk of the month, there’s still time, pop along to Daisie’smummy’s kennel and drop her a pm. Thanks! Sylvester xx oh Heidi sends her love and a big kiss too! XXXXX
Hello Max, Hope you had a good weekend, it’s very cold tho isn’t it? Daddy lit the fire so I snuggled up with mummy on the sofa and had a nice long snooze. Daddy decided to take me for a really long walk on Saturday which mummy wasn’t too happy about, she said it was too much for my leg, but I did OK, bit tired but did well. Sunday morning I was up for anything and really wanted to bounce and run around but we went to training class and although I was doing really well, Daddy let me work off lead, so I took my chance and ran for it! It was such fun…. The freedom to run and bounce was fantastic… although short lived, humpf! Heidi did well in class this week as well, according to Mummy she’s such a little star considering shes only a year old, well just to remind you if you haven’t voted for my good self yet for December’s Hunk of the Month, then please pop along to Daisies mummy’s kennel and drop her a PM for me. As it’s so cold we are leaving you a huge pot of beef stew, complete with dumplings to keep you warm so enjoy! Sylvester (Hunk Nominee) xx Oh and little sis sends a kiss…….Mawh!!!
Hi Max, WOW would you believe it, my big brother has been nominated for Hunk of the Month!! Can’t say I see it myself he he he! but then he is my brother and picks on me at times, but I do know he loves me and his been through a lot this year as well, what with being really sick in Cornwall and mummy and daddy having to bring him home early as he spent more time in the vet than on holiday, and his leg recently, not forgetting his got hydrotherapy again tomorrow, but I’ve been sworn to secrecy not to tell him as he hates water! (wish I could go swimming) Well what great weather we have had this week eh? And it’s daylight when we go for a walk in the morning, I can actually see my ball when daddy throws it! Better dash, daddy’s due home and I like to greet him at the door, leaving you some pizza tonight, so enjoy! Heidi & Hunk Nominee Vester! xxx
p,s PM to daisies mummys kennel xx
Well Max, what a busy weekend we had, Thank you for the birthday wishes and treats, they were yummy! Saturday we met the kennel lady who made a huge fuss over us both, and she thinks Sylvester has some great dane in him because of some of his mannerisms, whatever they are?!?! Mummy said that would explain why his so tall. They have registered for a ‘gangley’ that’s what the lady calls the new dogs once they have grown up a bit and lost their puppy appeal and gone all leggy, so hopefully by April / May next year we could have a new sister!! We also had some lovely walks and of course the extra hours sleep, which I took no notice of and had mummy up at 5.30!! she wasn’t best pleased and went back to bed so I missed my training class, but it was OK, as Daddy took me out to do loads of training and of course to play with my tennis ball, Sylvester did his usual trick and slept most of the day on the sofa!! Leaving you some chicken and pasta with garlic bread for lunch today, enjoy!! Heidi & Sylvester xx xx
Hi Max, how are you today? Well I’ve been a spoiled little girl today as it’s my birthday, and I’m a whole one year old! I got lots of new toys, which my big brother nicked, but mummy got her revenge on him and took his photo whilst he was chewing my new ‘PINK’ rope ball so his street cred will be in tatters, he he he. We get to see our friend from the rescue centre tomorrow as she’s coming to see us and how we are settling in, also I think mummy & daddy are looking to get us a brother or sister in the future so she’s coming to discuss that as well. Sylvester goes back to training class this week as well, but his not allowed to do any off lead work as he’ll just run around and his not allowed to yet because of his leg still. But I can tell you this Max, I bet I’m better in class than he his he he he. Anyways better dash, got lots of birthday cake to delivery so here’s you slice, hope you enjoy! Heidi & Vester xxxx
Hello , well what a weekend it has been so far, I tell you mate, this Hydrotherapy thing, the humans booked me in for wasn’t a great deal of fun let me tell you! Firstly when I got inside it was all a bit strange and the lady put this red padded coat on me, well I wasn’t happy about that, I’m a boy should have been blue!, then she drags me, and I mean I was putting my brakes on, but she managed to get me in the water, then she proceeded to walk me in, next think I knew I was swimming!!!! Round and round we went with Daddy walking on the edge to help me along, after 6 laps she let me have a rest, I tell you, I was knackered, mummy said I sounded like a stream train. Then as I thought it was all over, off we went again, well I was glad to get out of there I can tell you. And as if that’s not bad enough they managed to get me in the shower, but I ran when they tried to put the hairdryer on me he he, wasn’t having any of that! What’s worse they’ve booked me in again in a fortnight….. will have to think of a way out of that me thinks, so any good ideas, let me know, till then my friend I’m leaving you some chicken casserole to enjoy now it’s getting colder, dumplings included, love & Licks Sylvester and a kiss from Heidi… mawh X
p.s mummy has put two pics of me at hydro in the kennel x
Well Hello! What a result last night with the rugby eh? I didn’t like that French man Chabal, I keep trying to bite him, but daddy kept yelling at me to get out of the way of the telly he he. Anyway we all went training today so I could catch up with my mate’s and little sis was in the advanced class (same as me) but she let herself down big time, mummy wasn’t best pleased with her, as soon as we got there she saw her mate Echo and jumped out the car without her collar and lead and the pair of them had a whale of time running around, I was good and didn’t try and join in. That kinda lead the theme for the class, not once did she run around, or even twice, but 3 times!!! Mummy was having a mare of it but other than that she did all her exercises very well and even the trainer said she did well for a young un. Hurpfff, still not a touch on me tho! Will try and get to see you again this week, but mummy is very busy with work and too shattered when she gets home to supervise us on the PC so today we will leave you our very best wishes and hope you have a good week plus a whole roast chicken (de-boned of course) and some apple crumble and custard so enjoy!! Sylvester & Heidi (the tearaway!) xxx
Hi Max, How are you today? Did you have a fun packed weekend? Well I was totally beside me self on Saturday as Mummy’s friend came to visit with her 3 children, and as you know, I’m passionate about people, especially little ones! We went for a long walk up the woods and they even held me it was great fun! Sylvester couldn’t come tho as it was too far for him so Daddy took him out for a shorter walk, his improving each day, but mummy is a bit worried about how thin his leg is still, but time will tell apparently?!?! Anyway yesterday I went to my training class to see all my mates and had a good ole play around before we had to ‘behave’ I was a very good girl, mummy was please as punch with me, I was a little angel, so much so we’ve been promoted to the advanced class, how cool is that eh? Lots of new friends to make in the new class, but I won’t be too frightened as my GSD friend Echo is also coming with me as he was promoted too! Best I get some practice in this week so I don’t show meself up he he! Leaving you some chicken and pasta bake for todays treat, enjoy! Heidi & Sylvester xxx
Hi Max, sorry not been round for a while, but mummy has been very busy with work so hasn’t let us use the computer. She’s booking me in for a hydrotherapy class in a couple of week to see how I get on, I can tell you now mate I’m not gonna like it as its that wet stuff called water! I’m much more back to my normal bombastic self and bouncing all over the place, what do they expect me to do as I can’t walk too far yet he? Heidi is her usual tease and keeps parading her, our toys past my nose, so I give her a quick nip and say Oi! That’s mine girlie, leave it alone all right? Anyway I’m next to mummy on the sofa helping/ telling her what to type for me as I’m very lazy and my paws are too big for the laptop. Leaving you some spag bol tonight with Greek yoghurt and honey so enjoy! Sylvester xx Oh and girlie says hi and to leave you a kiss…. So mawah! Xx
I’m getting all excited, as my Gotcha day is tomorrow!! I had my stitches out last evening and the Vet, Mr Richard was very pleased with me. I had TWO, not one, pieces of nylon screwed in my knee, so he says its really strong, but I still have to take it easy with short walks. Mummy & Daddy took me & Heidi up the Green for a little walk, it was sooooooooo nice to get out of the house and garden, sooo many new sniffs to explore, but I wasn’t allowed off my lead tho, and that little sis of mine kept teasing me as she was off hers! We also got new toys today, we each got a new Kong and I got another Kong wubba, as the last one lasted really well, a whole 2 months, this one is red tho not blue. Heidi got a ball launcher so she has to run a lot further now, he he, that’ll teach her eh? Daddy’s getting wound up with the rugby, says he should be the manager, I’m keeping out the way and catching up with my mates, anyway hope you all have a good weekend, enjoy your walks and were leaving you some Chicken tikka masala with crispy poppadoms, enjoy! Sylvester & Heidi xxx
Mummy’s home!!! She came home early as Vester is pawly and at the vets for his op on his leg today which means I get the computer all to my self!! What a week I had too, Daddy took us on lovely walks in the morning and then Jackie came and took us again at lunchtime and we saw daddy as well, but his been a bit strict this week which was a surprise, we normally get away with much more with him than mummy. I was a bit naughty on Thursday and daddy wasn’t best pleased with me, I was just doing my usual round of checking all the birds when I managed to catch one and eat it! Didn’t taste as good as I thought it would tho, so if you a bit partial for birdies, don’t eat the blue , try another variety as they weren’t too nice. Friday was a bit of disaster as Vest done his leg in and I had the fright of my life when Jackie took us out, there was this really big noisy truck that ate all the stuff the got thrown in at the back from the bin and well, I just froze thinking it was gonna eat me! Jackie had to get one of the dustmen to take vester while a little old lady held my lead and Jackie tried to get me to walk past it, no way was I moving that thing was really scary!!!!! Anyway todays treat is lamb shank, slow roasted in the oven with a drop of red wine, enjoy!! Heidi xx
Hello my friend, just popping by to give treats as Mummy is away from tomorrow so we are left alone with Daddy, which should be great fun as he let’s us get away with sooooo much more than Mummy. We went training yesterday for the first time in two weeks and we were very good, I just kept watching this three legged yorkie walking round the field, so Mummy didn’t let me off, just in case I was going to investigate him further, shes’ such a spoil sport sometimes! Anyway treats to last the week are Pigs ears, a dozen sausages and a raw hide knot chew, hope you enjoy! Will visit when Mummy’s back, till then have fun xx Sylvester & Heidi xx
Well Hello there, sorry for not visiting for a few days, mummy has been really busy as she goes away again next week to look after nanny & granddad in Ireland, but it’s ok, daddy will be staying with us this time. Will try and visit before she goes as Daddy doesn’t let us on the PC. Heidi’s pretty pink bandage has now come off and boy did her foot stink!! I couldn’t stop sniffing it, all antiseptic smelling, I even tried pawing it but mummy told me off. I’ve taken to being lazy (well more than usual) and lying about soaking up the rays in the pool, no water mind wouldn’t be the same with water, urgh! Anyway leaving you some gammon with egg and chips for today’s treat, the pineapple is optional, enjoy! And have a good weekend xx Sylvester & Heidi xx
