Here's woofing at ya Misty :-) ...it is -27 here and unless you are a polar bear it is COLD!!!! My poor belly is shaved from my surgery and I hate wearing doggy clothes so I don't stay out long right now. I have had a quiet week for some reason my human masters (so they think) say I have to stay quiet for a few more days. I have so much energy I need to burn and the family cat keeps goating me so I have to chase him :-) Mom says I popped one of my stitches so back to the vet tomorrow grrrrrrrrr I snuck some treats and would love to share them with you. Hey Misty just droppin in to say hello :-) My mom has been busy planning a baby shower for tomorrow and I am planning on hanging out by the food ( hoping someone drops a thing or 2) I promise to share my take with ya !!! in the meantime enjoy this nice piece of prime rib and potatoes and gravy too. I am a little nervous as I am having surgery on Monday ( mom said something about my getting fixed ??? never knew I was broke haha hope it does not hurt much cause I am not very good at sitting still. Hi Gayle, Thanx for gettin back to me. I am definetely going to make it a priority to go and visit Smudge. After losing Sophie my family just are not ready for another dog yet, so I have handed in my form to offer to volunteer for the Dogs Trust. Stephanie x

Hiya, just wanted to say thanks for replying to my poorly hamster post. Sadly the wee fella didn't make it . When I opened the cage this morning to give him his medicine he poked his little head out of his nest and then came hobbling out which I thought was a good sign. My daughter held him for a bit and he sat in her hands and had a bit of a wash, then we popped him back in. When I went to get him out for his medicine this afternoon he'd gone :( At least he's no longer suffering. Thanks again for taking the time to reply. I'm off now to say hello to the gorgeous Misty! So glad to hear you're making progress with Storm and she is responding well to you. Ozzy is continuing to improve, although we still have little "episodes". I need to keep reminding myself just how far he has come in the 3 years we've had him. I've also learnt a helluva alot about dog behaviour - silly little things like not walking him along narrow footpaths. We always used to do this as they were quieter than the park but it meant that any encounters we had were head on and this is perceived as threatening, (to Ozzy anyway!) and he reacts much worse in these situations. I used to absouletly dread taking him down the park because of all the people, dogs and cyclists but he doesn't go off the lead and there is plenty of room to give potentially awkard situations a wide berth and we are generally left alone. I'm also armed with a bag of treats for him!! We're currently working on his barking (mainly at the kids playing outside) he's been driving the neighbours nuts, but they are cat people and not very tolerant at the best of times! We've been using a water spray and a firm "no" after the first bark. If he doesn't bark at all he gets a treat but I don't expect or want him to be entirely mute - it's his insticnt after all. Really glad things are looking more positive for you all. Keep me posted. Lea x

(boo did i scare you he,he) im back,sorry its taken so long im settling in to the new house ok even went to my puppy class on tuesday night though i pretended i was shy(well dont want them thinking im full of beans do i?)got you some nice vegetable soup and a french roll with apple crumble for afters will come back soon and let you know how the new house is take care luv and woofs *xxxrosiexxx*
