Hi Misty, I have been painting with my tail & for days had a 'Applewhite' designer tail with delicate flicks on the ends, the cats have been keeping me busy, bit scared of Tigger, he sometimes blocks me in the kitchen & I have to bark so my Mum & Dad can remove him to enable me to get pass, it is those sharp things at the end of his claws, I don't like, he is into everything, the washing machine, dishwasher, he jumps onto my Mum back & she has to piggyback him to the settee, he has even learnt how to paw out the cat food out of tins. Do you remember Arthur, the white cat on TV a few years back?, he has copied that trick. Zebedee, sadly has been catching birds, we tried to save them, but as you know, once a cat catches one, sadly their fate is sealed, she attempted to revitalised one with water, he did respond but a few seconds later died in her hands. To human news, my Mum tried to set the kitchen alight, she made some watercress homemade soup & turn down the gas when she did something else, forgot to turn it off completely & when later put down her favourite doggy fleece on the stove ready for the next wash, went out to hang the first wash on the line, needless to say, the fleece went up in flames, she was so cross with herself for being so silly but it could have been a lot worse, if it had been Dad's shorts she could have replaced them from M&S but this fleece was a one off. I have been off my medication apart from joint care, to see how I fare, still get tired and I still get a limp but now the weather is cooler, it doesn't seem as bad, I tend to run around like a mad thing for the first 5 minutes & then run out of energy, if I meet my friend Susie, she keeps me going while the Mums chat. I am leaving you some Cullen Skink, my Mum has learnt her lesson & always double checks the gas ring is turned off. There is probably more to tell, but I haven't been in contact for a while, so might have forgotten some antics. Love, Dylan xx xx

I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sorry I haven't visited you in the last few days, we've been really busy. Now it's the weekend..... YAY!!!!! Hope you've had a good week? I've just got back from Pets At Home where mummy bought me a couple of birthday pressies :):) Couldn't really see what she got me though as she hid them behind her back. Now she's shut them away somewhere. We noticed that the store is doing another Pet Photo competition next weekend, usually they're every January. Mummy's quite annoyed because she wants me to have my photo done but it costs too much. She's hoping they'll be back next January. I had an abundance of various poohs today, bunny droppings, pigeon pooh, duck pooh, mummy was quite disgusted in me, she said she wont give me a kiss for a whole month now and I'm not allowed to give her one :(:( I can't do without my kisses. We are looking after Lily (Loopy Lils as mummy calls her) while Granny and Grandad are away on their hols. She's going to be sleeping in OUR room and on OUR bed :( I love her really. :) Anyway I shall try and drop by this weekend. love you. Have missed ya. Love Alfie xox PS Here's some fish and chips with scraps.

Hiya Misty sorry weve not been around for a while its been mad in our kennel, Mum n Dad have been ripping the front garden apart to make a drive for when mum gets her new car, we cant wait more seat covers to mess up hehehe. mum says she feels very old today cos she has been shovelling limestone, we told her we would scatter it about for her but she was worried it would hurt our feet. Lucy has got a poorly leg so weve not been able to go on our walks to the park ;0( so while they have been doing the front garden we have been doing the back hehehe I dont think they will be pleased. Leaving you a smelly old burger we found buried under the bushes hehehe its lovely and aged xx Lucy Poppy & Tink xx

Hello again Misty, Romany here. Ever since I arrived here Mam has wanted to call me 'Romany Ree' but she doesn't know quite why. So she keyed it in to the search thingy on the computer, and apparently the 'Romany Ree' is an old traditional Scottish dance. It's also an old fisherman's fly-tying technique (the'Romany Rye and the Romany Ree'). But Mam thinks it's possibly something from her childhood - possibly the chorus of a song, or a character in a storybook perhaps. Just the sort of thing that would have been in those wonderful Rupert annuals - 'on his way home for tea, Rupert bumped into Romany Ree' - that sort of thing. Any ideas would be most welcome. But it gets dafter! Just recently she's started calling me 'Romany Ree from number forty-three'. So Shona says 'but we don't live at number forty-three.' And Mam says 'yes, but forty two doesn't rhyme!' There really is no hope is there? Sending you some fruit cake today as it seems appropriate! love Romany Ree from number forty-three'. (Well, forty-two really!) xxxxx

Hi there, Romany here. Shona has gone to the pictures so Mam and I have nicked the computer for the afternoon. It's funny but when I first arrived here, it got dark early on an evening and when I went in the lounge there was always another puppy staring at me from the other side of the french windows. When I barked she barked back. When I hid from her behind the chair she disappeared, and when I peeped round at the window again she was there again! But then the nights got lighter and the puppy stopped coming. But recently the nights have been drawing in again and the other night there she was, staring back at me from the other side of the french window! Except now she is much bigger and doesn't look like a puppy anymore. I keep barking at her. I even know her name now. She's called 'Your Reflection'. I know this because Mam told me ('Romany, that's your reflection', she said). Funny name for a dog don't you think? Sending soup and rolls as it keeps raining. love Romany xxx

Hey Misty i'm so glad its nearly the weekend as i have been so busy! We went to the v*ts and asked for some sedatives for the 6hour journeys down to cornwall he said it was best if we did a test run to make sure they don't give me any nasty side effects so on monday mum sneakly hid the tablets in my breakfast (otherwise i wouln't eat them) and for the rest of the morning i was very sleepy, mum said i looked very funny because my eyes were droopy and when i went to bark at the postman i fell over and couln't get back to my bed so mum had to support me, hehe! Now i won't eat my breakfast because i keep thinking there will be sedatives in it and it doesn't help that i'm on antibiotics for a dodgy digestive system so mum is having a real problem getting me to eat them. Mums a bit worried as it is not like me to refused food!!! Todays treat is a pork pie, enjoy! Have a good weekend lots of love from Badger x x x x x x

Hi Storm. Hope alls well there with you all. The rains have returned here and it’s a little cooler than of late, so we are catching up on some indoor chores. We are waiting for a man to collect our lawn mower and give it a service, and Mum say’s if he doesn’t turn up soon , we’ll need a combine harvester to sort the grass out. LOL. Today’s treat is a smelly tripe stick, to be eaten outside only. Tee! Hee! Sorry if we don’t visit as regular as we did but the sites so slow lately, it takes Mum ages to get round, but we still think of you. Xxx Owen and Aunty Marie.xxx
