Hi ya, hope alls well there with you . The weather is quite gloomy here today, but we’re warm and snug indoors. Mum has done a flyer for Lal ,l.b.kennel,at Puglia pooches, could you post a copy in your local shops or works, To see if we can get more people interested in her work with stray and abandoned dogs. if you would like a copy PM mum your e-mail ( which she will delete as soon as she forwards your copy). Thankyou so much if you can help. Leaving a juicy steak treat. Xxx Owen and Aunty Marie. xx
How has your day been...? It has been warm here today with a blue sky.. a rare event these days. Other than my 2 walks, I spent most of the day in the garden. But daddy has been so mean to me.. it isnt fair. At the end of the garden we have 2 pine trees, and I love to chew on a juicy pine cone. Well, I found a nice one and smuggled it into the living room and as i started to chew on it, daddy discovered it and took it from me and threw it into the garden. I spent most of the day trying to smuggle it past him, but most of the time i dont get past the kitchen. A few times I noticed he was busy so i tiptoed past him with it concealed in my mouth but he knows when I am quiet and he came and found me. So I had to give in, eventually, and chew it to pieces in the garden.. Lets see what Sunday brings.. leaving you a pine cone and a banana sandwich (I know, but the banana sandwich is daddies idea, not mine) hope your weather is as nice.. Love Angus xxx
Hi Brook, how are you? New new computer is working fine (hooray) as opposed to old new computer which has gone back to Dell land. Today’s treat from the girlie gundogs and dobes is some chilli con carne. I made it last night and it is yummy. However I am yet to discover how “doggy friendly” it is: they all had some last night and I await further “developments” with interest....could dobes do an hovercraft impersonation or even go into orbit? will the Poomonster live up to her name? could The Princessliness Sarika actually do a botty burp that DOESN’T smell of Chanel No 5? On reflection, as well as the chilli we will add some botty wipes and lots of air freshener........just in case. Have fun...hopefully your humans will do too!!!!! x.
Hi Brook, how are you? Something extraordinary happened here earlier........THE SUN WAS SHINING. Based on the year so far, and the weather forecast, this could have been the summer so it was walkies time along the river with the girlies and, yes, dobes too, although he needed to be carried after 50 yards! Today’s treats, apart from our good wishes and some pork sausages, are a sunshade and, just in case the forecast is correct, an umbrella. Back soon but my ability to sort out a new computer arriving today will determine when! Have fun x PS It is raining again.

Hiya.. Bertie's dad went to a wedding in Birmingham yesterday so he stayed with us all day, until 1am last night.. we went to the park in the morning and the beach yesterday evening. It was quite windy. Today is blue sky but still windy. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.. here's a bacon sarnie.. enjoy!!
Angus xx Thanks for signing the petition but dad says we need more. He is asking his friends and colleagues, and has been getting everyone to sign.. hehehe take care xx
Hi Brook, you've just given our mum a real start as she thought you were me! She wondered how on earth I'd got into someone else's picture! Nice to meet you, hope you're having a great weekend. I certainly am I've rolled (yet again) and I smell wonderful. I smell so wonderful I've not even been threatened with a bath as usual and mum is keeping her distance! Lamb chops for you as a treat, from lookalike Echo & girls xxxx
Hello, Angus here. Still quiet this week. Haven’t chewed anything damaging yet. Daddy bought me a chew ring, but that only lasted a couple of hours. Now it’s gone. At least it’s been dry this week, so I have been able to get to the park and woods. Looking forward to the weekend… enjoy… treats left is a doggy chocolate Easter egg from Pets at Home, coz they’re so early with them…woof..Angus
Hellooooo I hope you are enjoying this lovely weather. It is sunny and crisp. Though the mornings are cold. When I go out for my early morning constitutional it is sooo cold, so I run out the back garden, do my jobs and run straight back in again… and the beach has frost on it where it is in shadow.. bbbrrrrrr Hope it warms up soon…. Take care..here’s some chicken soup and a nice pair of gloves and a scarf. Now you can either wear them or do as I do and chew away!! Angus
Hi Brook,,...today's question...is supermodel status going to Sarika's head? Not only does she, like her "sister", now refuse to get out of bed for less than $10,000 a day but the Laydee of the Month of Lurve rather disgraced herself yesterday. Bear in mind that she is an Hungarian princess - first we had a quite distinct BURP followed shortly afterwards by a very audible BOTTOM BURP - in fact it was so loud she frightened herself and scarpered! It did make me laugh though and for a moment there I thought I was back in my old rugby club!!!! Purdey has always been rather basic (or is the required word normal?) but Sarika, the princess, her ladyship, her most graciousness, has always been rather above such elemental things. The bottom burp was actually fragrant, in fact quite clearly perfumed, so I guess she redeemed herself a tad. Maxwell Doberdog was of course oblivious to it all, being asleep - even the noise did not disturb him. Today the girls and dobes are therefore dropping off some "just in case" treats - earplugs, a cork and a noseclip. Oh yes, they will also chuck in some food because dieting David (ie me) is still fantasizing and therefore I need to mention some yummies - this time it is a fillet steak, rare, with chips and peas and mushrooms and an onion and tomato salad and lots of English mustard and, of course, a cherry bakewell tart again (still dreaming!) and custard, lots of custard! MMMMMMMMMMMM. Have fun x
I hope you are having a good weekend and enjoying the sunshine. The beach was crowded with people and doggies these 2 days. I had a great time running around with all those dogs.. Now im going to have a small snooze... take care... here's some Somerset cheddar and biscuits with some of our boozy scrumpy to wash it down... Angus x
Hi there... sorry I haven't been on for a few days.. Daddy had to go to London yesterday so I had an extended play with Bertie.. Goodness, I slept all evening once he had got home. So today is pancake day and I will have to do my 'starving' look when I beg tonight.. Daddy heard a joke which we thought was funny.. I actually thought it was very true.. Dogs are the leaders of the planet. If you saw 2 living creatures, one of them does a poo and the other carries it for him, who do you think is in charge? Hmmmm, I know the answer to that one!! Pancakes with maple syrup all round, I think!! luv Angus x
hiya.. it was a mild day today.. i went up the woods for a nice walk.. and i have just woken from a nice snooze... who said it's a dog's life?? Have fun... and some beef and yorkshire pud..love Angus xx
Hi Brook, DDDD21 (David's Dreadful Diet Day 21). Weigh day tomorrow. I am a bit doubtful about weight loss this week - although the "man flu" helped midweek I have since "given in", more than once, to being simply too hungry. We will see! The dogs health report: Sarika and Purdey are now recovered from the nasty tummy bug, Max is almost there. And that "sigh of relief" you heard was not just from the dogs and not just from me but also from the tiled kitchen floor which hasn't had a great couple of weeks! Today the girls and doberdog are delivering what would have been MY sausages, beans and mash with onion gravy but, of course, I am on this bloody DDD. Enjoy
I'm sorry I've not been on for a while. Daddy still has the awful raspy cough since Christmas and can't shake it off. I have still been getting my walks and my brushes and my attention, though. So it will be a quick hello, and hoping youre OK. I have some chicken and rice for you tonight.. see you soon.. love Angus...woof
Hiyaaa.. a quiet week this week.. no snow, but it's been very cold. Getting back to my routine, which I am happy about. Weekend again tomorrow. Now I am just going to have a snooze, and lay out on the mat, then I will find something to chew later. Leaving you some sausages and chips, and one of my old toys for you to rip up...Angus x
Hope you had a good Christmas. Daddy has had a cold since Christmas Eve. now it's just the cough left. I still got lots of toys and treats and on Christmas Day I saw my mates Bertie and Harry. My fluffy snowman Bone lasted 1 day, and is now destroyed, but the knitted teddy bear is still intact and I have a solid rubber yellow bone which is still around. I have a nice soft blanket and lots of other things. Looking forward to New Year... Health and Prosperity for the new year to you and your mums and dads, and a turkey leg bone as a treat..luv Angus xx
I have been snoozing, or so daddy thought! He has been doing up my presents and I had one eye open, and saw what he was doing hehehe, he thought I was sleeping. I have lots to rip apart tomorrow. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas, with lots of goodies.. enjoy your day, with love from Angus (and dad). Do ya like my Chrissie pic? Turkey and stuffing, of course, for treats
