Hi Harley, how are you? I have not been on DoggySnaps much recently and have just logged on to find that my dear old Max has been nominated for this month's Hunk of the Month, Sunshine Superdogs. I am very chuffed about that and should anyone vote for him (via private message in lisahorry kennel by 5pm Friday 25th July) it would be wonderful. In the meantime I approach my *0th birthday tomorrow with great trepidation so on behalf of me and the nominee and his two supermodel girlfriends I am sending not only a bacon roll but also a request for some anti-ageing pills, should you ever find some, in hope that they a) really exist and b) work!!! (I know that the supermodels hardly need them but, trust me, the need is urgent as far as me and the nominee are concerned!) Have fun x

Oh dear I've been chasing wabbits and swifts and squirrels today, all while on my long lead so mums arms are now looking a bit longer than they did this morning. Hee hee, leaving you a double decker, mum says she hopes I will also be a good lad not lunging at dogs when I am older too - well done Harls! Love Tobes xx

Hi Harley, well we had a great walk yesterday evening. Well, to be precise, it was great until the moment when I attached Purdey's lead. You see I hadn't noticed that she had rolled in something and I am actually not sure, on reflection, whether I noticed before or after the deer's breakfast was on my hand. And did it pong, you ask? Well, it took five washes in soapy water and treatment with tomato sauce (useless) and tomato puree (much better) to get rid of the stink....and that was just from my hand! Purdey, the gorgeous little sod, required more drastic treatment and is now, thanks to the tomato puree, a RED Slovakian Rough Haired Pointer. Sarika looked on with regal disdain at the chaos and also increased her human vocabulary somewhat, doberdog was, yes that is right, sleeping. Today we thought we had better send over some dog friendly bleach so that, if you are lucky enough to find and roll in some deer poo, you can be restored to your former glory without changing colour.
