A poem for Kipsy
A happy bouncy dog she was
as bright as bright can be
she loved all around her
especially her family
she lived a long and happy life
but now she has to say goodbye
we all will miss her dearly
but will know its not forever till we see her again
Love my mummy
xoxo

You're giving me a special gift,
So sorrowfully endowed,
And through these last few cherished days,
Your courage makes me proud.
But really, love is knowing
When your best friend is in pain,
And understanding earthly acts
Will only be in vain.
So looking deep into your eyes,
Beyond, into your soul,
I see in you the magic, that will
Once more make me whole.
The strength that you possess,
Is why I look to you today,
To do this thing that must be done,
For it's the only way.
That strength is why I've followed you,
And chose you as my friend,
And why I've loved you all these years...
My partner 'til the end.
Please, understand just what this gift,
You're giving, means to me,
It gives me back the strength I've lost,
And all my dignity.
You take a stand on my behalf,
For that is what friends do.
And know that what you do is right,
For I believe it too.
So one last time, I breathe your scent,
And through your hand I feel,
The courage that's within you,
To now grant me this appeal.
Cut the leash that holds me here,
Dear friend, and let me run,
Once more a strong and steady dog,
My pain and struggle done.
And don't despair my passing,
For I won't be far away,
Forever here, within your heart,
And memory I'll stay.
I'll be there watching over you,
Your ever faithful friend,
And in your memories I'll run,
...a young dog once again.
God called your name so softly,That only you could hear,And no one heard the footsteps,Of angels drawing near,It broke our hearts to lose you,But you did not go alone,For part of us went with you,The day God called you home,You're always close beside us,In everything we do,You were our greatest treasure,God's gift to us was you. xxxxxxxxxxxfresh red roses sweetheart xxxxxxxxxxxx
Thinking of you today, I know how hard it is for you. You must have gave Kipsy a happy and loving home. RIP Kipsy, Love Butch xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I am so sorry for your sad loss - she looks like she was a beautiful girl. Be comforted that you had many years with her and her age is a great tribute to the life you gave her. A quote that was sent to me recenlty - "Those who live on in the hearts of others never die".
God bless you Kipsy.
Those we love are never really lost to us - we feel them in so many special ways- through friends they always cared about and dreams they left behind, in beauty that they added to our days... in words of wisdom we still carry with us and memories that never will be gone... Those we love are never really lost to us - For everywhere their special love lives on. xxxxxxxxxxfresh yellow roses sweetheart xxxxxxxxxx
Just popped over to see how your humans are coping Kipsy and to leave you another tribute. We will watch over them for you. Rest in peace little one. X
God looked around his garden And found an empty place,
He then looked down upon the earth And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering,
He knew you were in pain, He knew you would never get well on earth again.
He saw the road getting rough
And the stairs were hard to climb,
So he closed your weary eyelids,
And He whispered, "Peace is thine."
It broke my heart to lose you,
But you didn't go alone,
For part of me went with you
The day God took you home.
Though your joyous bark is gone forever
And your head I can no longer caress,
I will always have such sweet memories,
Of my loving pet. ♥♥♥xXx♥♥♥
