what a sad story - you have been so gifted to have had such a beautiful and loving companion. to have other pets i believe is a good thing. unfortunately, i am unable to do this at the moment (lost my little milo 21.5.07) and aam suffereing badly. life without them is unbearable and empty but the price we have to pay to have had their beautiful presence in our lives. run free sweet jason we will all meet again one day. x judy

A lovely story, sorry you lost Jason that way. it is a heartbreaking decision we have to make when we know it is best for our beloved dogs. I know its 6 years ago but Id like to send you this poem that helped me before and after id made the decision for my boy. Its called "Goodbye." Ive had a great life, we`ve loved alot Now its time for my spirit to be free. I`m ready to take that journey beyond where I can live eternally. I thought Id never want to go, Ive fought to live with all my might. Now I hear angels calling me toward a warm and gentle light. I really do want to go now its just too hard to stay. But I will try the best I can to make it through another day. Then let me go, will you please ? I think the time is right. I want to say good bye to pain and sleepless nights. Hold me close as you always have and let me hear you say "Because I love so very much, We can say goodbye today." Now do what you know you must, thats realy best for me, and any time you wish to remember, be happy my spirit now is free. you are a beautiful boy,Free from pain Jason. Sending you a treat.
