Hi Cinni, are you knee deep in snow yet?! We've had a little bit here but it has turned to rain for the moment but it is freezing out there so Roly has gone back to bed and don't think I'll be far behind him! Just as well it's Sunday, Mum says! Mum filed the bird feeders yesterday and now they are swarming with little birds trying to stock up on fuel against the cold. Poor things. We are so grateful for our warm home and snuggley beds. Jasper came over yesterday and we had a great walk with him in the forest. Then the Mum's went to the garden center and bought us some fun toys to play with and guess what, I haven't even wrecked them yet?!!! Still, there's plenty of time! Hope you have a great Sunday, love Milo x

Hi Cinni, Hope the rain has stopped for a few days. We haven't been too bad here although we all got pretty wet Monday. Mum made me wear my coat which helps but poor Roly was soaked through. Mum says now he is getting older maybe he should wear a coat too but he tends to over heat easily because his fur is so thick! It's dry out there at the moment but a bit grey and everywhere is very muddy. We had a fantastic time on the Isle of Wight as you know although we didn't go on the beach this time (I made myself really sick last time by licking salt and sand off the pebbles!) but we had some fantastic walks. It's such a lovely place. Hope you are having fun. We are hoping to meet up for a Doggysnaps walk next weekend with all our 'local' friends. Still hoping maybe one day we wil get to meet you. Love Milo and Roly x

Hi Cinni, it is HALLOWEEN, a time for trick OR treat. Well the girlie gundogs, dobes and I are not going to do that.......we are going to deliver to everyone a trick AND a treat AND a surprise. The SURPRISE is that Max has woken up. I have also managed to get him on a video with the girlies. Apologies, should you watch it, for the twit sounding commentary but Purdey decided to lick my head during filming. I bet Steven Spielberg doesn’t have that problem! The TREAT is a virtual fillet of beef. I know it isn’t as yummy as a real one but “it is the thought that counts”. (Hmm). And now for the TRICK. I have been practising this so I hope I get it right.....I have a pack of cards here.....SHUFFLE, SHUFFLE, CUT, SHUFFLE......now you pick a card, remember it, put it back so I cannot see it......SHUFFLE, SHUFFLE, CUT, SHUFFLE.....now watch....1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9.....and the 10th card is the......7 of clubs!!!!!!!!! HOW BRILLIANT IS THAT???? Me MAD? Probably.x

Hi Cinni, I thought I should let you know that Sarika, Purdey and I (dobes is directing operations from his bedroom) are now collecting wood. We have seven twigs so far, which isn’t as many as I expected but it is not my fault that the girlie gundogs got distracted by some slugs. WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT? Well, we have had a great deal of rain here and as, apparently, we have a wet winter coming it seems a good time to get going on the HDS (His David’s Ship) WOOF...... AND TO BRING NEW DOGGIES UP TO SPEED........this is the doggies only BARK we are building so all doggies can cope with any flooding (I was going to call it an ARK but then thought “No er, someone has already done that”). Anyway, a virtual ticket for our maiden voyage is enclosed; however, following the twig collecting, the date of the voyage is as yet uncertain x

Hi Cinni, hope your Mum's back is feeling a bit better. Our Mum says she knows just how she feels. She is hoping to buy a new wheelchair because her's is getting very old now and starting to make strange noises! They are very expensive though so our Grandad is giving her some money towards it. We just hope the old one doesn't break down before the new one arrives or it'll be short walks for us!!! Mum has got tomorrow off so we are going up to the forest to see how they are getting on with the logging. They are supposed to be finishing up there by the end of the month but last time we went up there were still lots of logs to be collected. Hopefully when they are all gone they will regrade the paths and make it all tidy again so Mum can get round without the fear of getting stuck in the ruts left by the lorries! Hope it's nice and sunny again tomorrow. Has it been nice your way? Since we joined Doggysnaps we now check the weather all over Britain to see what it is like where all our friends live! Paws crossed for a nice sunny day. Love Milo and Roly x

Hi Cinni, today we are sending kisses and cuddles all round. Also some VERY SAD news, my short but very intense love affair with the farmer’s TRACTORS is over. WHY, I hear you ask, because you, like me, no doubt thought it was the REAL THING? Two words have driven us apart...........MUCK SPREADING. This is the latest task in the fields and YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE THE PONG, even the entire world production of tomato sauce and puree would not be able neutralise it. The girlie gundogs reactions to the PONG were interesting, her Princessliness immediately reached for her snuff box and embroidered handkerchief (I think that she might be reclaiming her royal status), Purdey, on the other hand, clearly fancied doing cartwheels, forward rolls and numerous other gymnastic manoeuvres immediately behind the spreader. (Note to self: Purdey will not be going near the field for a few days). Meanwhile dobes had a VERY BAD day. He woke up (A BIG MISTAKE AS IT TURNED OUT) to the horrors of a bath and a very necessary but clearly TRAUMATIC botty wash; you should have heard the screams. I have a feeling that he might now pretend to be fast asleep for the foreseeable future. x

Hi Cinni, hope it's warmed up a bit your way again this week. It's been lovely here so we have been topping up the old tans at every opportunity! Today Mum says we have to do some tidying in the garden which is always fun. You never know what you might find! Last Autumn we found our DS rope and a very mature pigs ear (although Mum took the later away before we could eat it and make ourselves sick?! Spoilsport!!). Hope you are having a good weekend. Love Roly x

Hi Cinni, well we are back from our hols and what a fab time we had! The farm was great and there were so many exciting smells to investigate. Roly managed to find the best cow pat to roll in but then Mum made him have a shower which wasn't so much fun! Pip, the farm dog came to play every morning and little Millie was besotted with me! We had two extra 'mums' as well as Millie's Mum so even if our Mum wasn't up to a walk we still had someone to take us! We can't wait to go again! Love Milo (and Roly) x

Hi Cinni, thanks for popping by. We were beginning to think Mum didn't live here anymore, she has been sooooo busy lately. Rushing in and rushing out again! What is a dog supposed to do?! Anyway, she is off now until the 30th and we are off on holiday on Saturday! We are going to a farm up in Shropshire. We've never stayed on a farm before and apparently there are lots of sheep. We're a bit worried actually, 'cos sheep are electric you know. One electrocuted me (Milo) as a puppy and we've never trusted them since! Mum says that's good though 'cos we would never chase them. There will be rabbits to chase though and maybe the odd chicken when mum's not looking! Leaving you some meaty treats. Love Milo and Roly x
