Hi Digby, tip to self(1)....be more careful when lifting and turning with a full bucket of water. No, I didn’t spill it on the floor, in fact I rather wish I had....instead I have ended up with a prolapsed disc in my lower spine. And yes, it was OUCH (amongst other words) then, OUCH now and OUCH for some time to come. At least the doggies are all “in the pink”...well, actually the girlie gundogs, the Princessliness Sarika and Purdey the Poomonster, are in the not surprisingly MUD COLOURED BROWN (the paths and tracks round here being filthy at the moment) and Max, well Max is in a bed which I suppose could be pink but is actually BLUE. Anyway they join their injured slave in sending their regards. And finally, one for the anglers.....Two parrots are sitting on a perch. One turns to the other and says "Can you smell fish?" xx

Hello Digby and Lucy, we are very sorry that we will not be seeing you this weekend - but we look forward to next! (Paws crossed on that one!) Well December is nearly here - and now our Mum has to dress us all up for hen and stag nights, a Viking wedding and of course our own Little Mo's wedding to Toney, (Cinderella themed). It certainly is going to be a busy month on the doggysnaps front! Thank you so very much for your message to our beautiful Eddie - our Mum has been astounded by all the tributes that has been sent to him - and it has so helped her get through the last couple of days. Hi Digby - Mum took us out tonight for our walk on the moor and it was not only dark but very misty and we nearly got lost! Mum got totally disorientated because we couldn’t see where we were going and all the landmarks were just dark shapes in the mist! We thought the Hound of the Baskervilles was going to jump out on us but it turned out to be a grazing cow. Good job she had her doggy whistle cos when we were running about we couldn’t see mum and had to home in on the whistle. We were all glad when we found our way back to the car. We haven’t had any snow yet but its got very cold and we may have some at the weekend. Sending you some Doggy Chocs tonight and lots of love and licks from Jackson and Kia xxx

Hello Digby and Lucy, I did it! Yippee! I am still on cloud nine this morning - as are my mum and dad! My Mum says that she will have to catch up on her housework, ironing and stuff now - how boring is that? Did you have a good weekend Digby- the weather was pretty appalling wasn't it? Shall we try for next Sunday then? Hi both . long time no woof. Soz not been in touch but mum has had personal problems. We're going out for a walk in our nature reserve in the morning on saturday with our friends debbie and pepper and then mum is leaving me (how dare she!) and my human brother is looking after me on Saturday night so I'll get spoilt rotten lol. A big dish of lamb hot pot with crusty bread to mop up the gravy for your treat tonight, love Dylan. xxx

Hi Digby - hope you and Lucy are well - We haven’t got much news as nothing exciting has happened lately. So we are just enjoying reading everyone’s messages and doing the treat rounds. We saw something a bit upsetting on TV last night about a really horrible man who sells puppies from something called a puppy farm! People who had bought their puppies from him had really sick puppies and some had died. It made us very sad to see this and the man on the TV who was doing the secret filming said this horrible man had been banned from breeding puppies but was still doing it. It was such a filthy place and the poor mum of the puppies seemed to be scared stiff of the man when he went into the shed where she was kept. Mum says there are some really horrible people about and all of us dogs on doggy snaps are really lucky. Tonight we’re sending you some of our Marmite biscuits that mum made us from a new recipe she got from our auntie. Lots of love and licks from Jackson and Kia xxx

Hi Digby, today a tip for the humans. If you decide to ponce yourself up a bit with a quick squirt of Armani Code (men’s version, he added quickly!!!)....well you never know who you might meet on a “walkies”, it could be one of those SIMPLY GORGEOUS LADIES FROM DOGGYSNAPS.....anyway, to continue....make sure that the NOZZLE is not pointing at your eye. Because BLOODY HELL, ARMANI CODE STINGS!!!! (Note to self....must wear glasses when applying aftershave). TYPICALLY the girlie gundogs and dobes, who are all fine, were no support to their aged human slave in his time of need but were seen sniggering behind their paws at his pain and, in particular, his use of the English language! So it is love to you lot from them and the currently partly blind but actually now also very fragrant me. X

Hi Digs. How's your weekend been? We had a house full today so now they've ll gone we are relaxing on the sofa waiting for Strictly Come Dancing! We found another good walk today which shouldn't be too far for Lucy and was relatively dry underfoot (quite a feat at the moment!). It means meeting at the old car park again so we're just trying to make sure everyone knows where they are going on Sunday! Oh, and tell you Dad, Just as we were getting back in the car the crossbills flew over so they are still around! Love Milo and Roly x

Good morning to you Digby and Lucy! This is Molly here. I want to thank you so very much for supporting me in LOTM - you are my lovely friends! Paws crossed on that one though because I am up against some lovely laydees! I am loving taking part though - it is great fun!! Have you seen my latest video that my dad has done for me? he really does enjoy making them - mum says perhaps there is a market out there for making talking dog videos? And, it keeps him busy in the evenings - which allows mum to have the TV controls! Ha ha! Are you not going back to Solva next year then? Our Mum and Dad were thinking of taking us to Yorkshire (Whitby Bay area) of course it depends on whether we can find anywhere that will allow four dogs. We will see though! Do you fancy doing a dog walk not this weekend - but the following? Either day is good for all of us? Take care and thanks once again. Love from the gang xxx

Hi Digs, yes we had a great holiday. Seems a long time ago already though. Why do they fade so fast?! Hope your Mum finds somewhere good for next year. Has she tried Welcome Cottages? hI dIGBY, so the walk went really well. The wind was blowing a gale and seemed to have dried up most of the tracks, despite the recent torrential rain. There were some nasty filthy puddles where the muddy water was black but otherwise all was great. My gorgeous Purdey (I absolutely adore her really) was a darling, a paragon of virtue, a simply well behaved girlie, no noxious things were subjected to her backstroke, no none at all, it was a MIRACLE really. And as for the Princessliness, well Sarika was as always “mad as a box of frogs”, full of beans and fun. She always sticks close to me on our walks unless there is a leaf, moth, butterfly, JUMBO JET etc to chase. Wonderful. So I bent down to give them both a kiss (yes, I know I am a soppy old sod) and was immediately engulfed in girlie gundogs. Their paws were round my neck, they were in my arms, everywhere, and I got subjected to the treatment, licks and kisses. I love those moments, they are so very precious.......I am not sure when I remembered that they both had spent a bit of very recent time in one of those “nasty filthy puddles” previously mentioned. Was it before or after I noticed the condition of my clothes? Suffice to say that Max is currently watching the washing machine do its thing. AND THAT BEGS THE QUESTION..is watching it hypnotising him, it is on so often, so he is not really asleep he is actually in a trance? Hmmmmmm. I wonder how you tell. AND FINALLY...A man went to into an hardware store and picked up a can of fly spray. "Is this good for wasps?" he asked the assistant. "No, it kills them" was the reply.

Hi Digby, so there was this pile of deer poo. First the golden sand coloured hairy east European girlie gundog, she of royal lineage, looked at it, sniffed it and then decided that the leaves fluttering in the wind were of much greater interest. Then the silver grey coloured hairy east European girlie gundog looked at it and sniffed it AND then decided that the leaves were more interesting too. PHEW went the aged human, rather smugly, knowing that Mrs Davidmh was at the stables so any “stinky” washing and “desmelling with tomato sauce” duties would be down to him. He started to whistle. So engrossed in his whistling was he (it was a complicated tune with REQUIRED changes of key AND descants – the aged human interestingly being very good at them when they are NOT REQUIRED but not so when they ARE) that he failed to notice the silver grey one doubling back until it was too late. He turned around just in time to see her, all four legs in the air, actually wriggling her back in the aforementioned deer poo.......next time I had better stick to easier whistling, Young Folks or Colonel Bogey! AND BY POPULAR REQUEST... A pair of cows were talking in the field. One says, "Have you heard about that mad cow disease that's going around?" "Yeah," the other cow says. "Makes me glad I'm a penguin."
