Hi Rodney, it is HALLOWEEN, a time for trick OR treat. Well the girlie gundogs, dobes and I are not going to do that.......we are going to deliver to everyone a trick AND a treat AND a surprise. The SURPRISE is that Max has woken up. I have also managed to get him on a video with the girlies. Apologies, should you watch it, for the twit sounding commentary but Purdey decided to lick my head during filming. I bet Steven Spielberg doesn’t have that problem! The TREAT is a virtual fillet of beef. I know it isn’t as yummy as a real one but “it is the thought that counts”. (Hmm). And now for the TRICK. I have been practising this so I hope I get it right.....I have a pack of cards here.....SHUFFLE, SHUFFLE, CUT, SHUFFLE......now you pick a card, remember it, put it back so I cannot see it......SHUFFLE, SHUFFLE, CUT, SHUFFLE.....now watch....1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9.....and the 10th card is the......7 of clubs!!!!!!!!! HOW BRILLIANT IS THAT???? Me MAD? Probably.x

we have come with our appologies again for not visiting for so long we have problems with our internet its still very slow!! and we didnt know mum could speak in so many languages!!well we have been really good we have even learned how to work the tv remote mind you some of the buttons dont work we did try to clean them but not sure it helped!as some of the buttons fell off!and we done mums dusting for her well sort of we couldnt decide who was doing it first so the feather duster just sort of fell to pieces a bit like our toys really!!as its gypsy's 1st birthday today we have brought you in some spider and tennis ball cake with a huge bag of bonios for later we hope to get our internet sorted soon as mum said something about going with someone else!!see you soon luv and woofs rosie,gypsy&angel sasha xxxxxxxx

oh dear we are so behind with our treats blame mr richard branson!!got our letter ready to send to him and hope he knows that because of his terrible internet service we have missed out visiting all our friends!!well we have been good girls as usual its mum that has been naughty he,he, silly sausage forgot she had the car yesterday when she was out shopping and came back in a taxi!!only for dad to go a funny colour and wonder where the car was???needless to say dad had to go in the taxi to get the car back only thing was it was parked in asda car park(have you ever seen the size of asda car park ?he,he,)well mum said at least dad got some excercise he,he,though i dont think dad was happy even when mum saw the funny side he,he,but he must have forgiven her as he made her breakfast in bed,managed to grab some egg and toast for you and a huge bonio just for being our best friend and gypsy has brought you in a rather chewed slipper not her fault it was left lying on the floor!see you soon luv and woofs xxx*rosie,gypsy,&angel sasha*xxx

Boo !!!we are back gosh we have missed you so much thank you for looking after our kennel for us while mum was ill,well i rosie have been so good!!apart from eating the£10 note last week well i have such expensive tastes!and it did taste yummy!i still love the odd sock nothing new there he,he,im still training for the doggy olympics(watch this space!)gypsy here yes im still practising my singing getting better and louder all the time oh and i do love a good book!but i prefer to eat them rather than read them!not sure dad likes the fact that he doesnt get to read the end of the book he,he, mum reckons i was a mountain goat in a past life as i like to jump up everywhere and anywhere rosie is putting me in for the high jump in the doggy olympics,i still love to steal mums underwear when shes not looking though we haven't met our new postman yet!leaving you a sloppy kiss and some nice spider and paper flavoured lasagne with some moss flavoured ice cream for afters mind you rosie prefers spiders to moss i just love eating the moss though not sure why mum tells me to leave it think shes jealouse because she cant have any to eat!will come back soon though by the time we get around all our friends it could be christmas!(he,he,only kidding it wont be that long we promise)luv and woofs ***rosie,gypsy&angel sasha***

Hi Rodney, today the girls and doberdog are delivering A STONE each as a present. Sarika, her princessliness, is delivering A STONE (precious) - you get to chose from a diamond, a ruby, an emerald and a sapphire - pick whichever you want. Purdey, currently, but no doubt temporarily, a fox/deer/duck poo smell free zone, is delivering A STONE (semi precious) - jet, opal, amethyst or aquamarine - as before you get to pick. And Max, when he wakes up, will be delivering A STONE (common) - your choice from pebbles he found on a walk At STONEhenge and very pretty they are too, one even has a fossil in it (no, not me!). This delivery is occuring to some background music, some provided by A group called STONE The Crows, some provided by A group called STONE Temple Pilots and also the song Ruby Tuesday by A group called the Rolling STONEs, because we Admire itS TONEs, although Max would probably prefer a lullaby. Have fun x PS It is DDDD51 (David's Dreadful Diet Day 51) and it was weigh day yesterday.....guess how much weight I have now lost? Hi Rodney, ...a RANT AND A LAUGH TODAY. First the RANT.....What is it about some cyclists? On our walk this morning I saw a cyclist coming down the footpath. I called Sarika and Purdey (Max was still asleep), they came to me, and, with them, I stood off the edge of the path in a field which had young corn growing. Whereupon, as he came by, I got a load of abuse from the cyclist about standing on the crop etc. I pointed out that I had collected the dogs and got them out of his way despite me, as a pedestrian, having right of way over him on the path. It had been clear that he wasn't going to stop. He said not to worry about the dogs because if they came anywhere near him he would kick them out of the way. It is probably not advisable to put my next words and thoughts in writing!!!!,.....And now a LAUGH......We found Sarika and Purdey stuck to the fridge this morning, the little sods had been at the fridge magnets so I guess it served them right! It made walking quite entertaining when we got near things metal. Only joking! Today's treat from the girls and doberdog is a no-go area for difficult cyclists and a fridge magnet (recycled!). Have fun x

Hi Rodney, a quick visit today as I have to get on the motorways again. We are having great fun getting used to paparazzi everywhere here at the moment, trying to get pictures of Sarika, The Laydee of the Month of Lurve (Hergorgeousness) and her companions Purdey (Herverysmellymostofthetimebecauseshelikesrollinginfoxanddeerpoopoothankgoodnessfortomatopureeness) and doberdog (Hisveryoldandsleepiness), As a result I may have to put them all in disguise (which should get some odd looks from those round here who already doubt my sanity). So it is spare disguises - dark glasses and funny hats - they are sending over today. Have fun x.

Hi Rodney, it is DDDD28 (David's Dreadful Diet Day 28). Despite considerable temptation the cornish icecream, the bottle of toffee sauce and the two packets of chocolate raisins remain untouched.......well that is not quite true, they have certainly been touched, longingly and lovingly, but they all remain unopened! I did decide a treat was in order however and it was a "daddy or chips" moment......icecream and toffee sauce or a couple of glasses of wine. After a great deal of soul-searching the winner was THE WINE and very nice it was too. Anyway, weigh day tomorrow. The dogs all remain fine and clearly enjoyed the sunshine yesterday, even Max was seen to have a sunbathe. And they still remain both clean and fragrant which in Purdey's case is some sort of miracle given her inclinations towards evil smelling previously digested items. Today they are dropping off some lambs liver and, just in case anyone over did it yesterday, some Aftersun. Have fun x.
