Hi Shadow, belated birthday greetings to your Dad, my Mum is so sorry she missed your birthday (she also missed Jacky's (jackymac) birthday yesterday too), so she phoned up to apologise. Hope your Dad had a great day, I would leave him a pair of my Dad's chewed socks but I think he might prefer new ones, Dog's Trust are advertising dog trust socks on their online shop. My Mum thinks your Dad's stories are great, if you do a one for New Year, can I be the handsome dark stranger on first footing, bringing in the coal? Treat and beer for your Dad. Hi Shadow, mum went out for her meal last night and no...she didn't bring us back a doggy bag!! how mean is that! Everyone seems to be getting their decorations and trees up. Not us. Mum says the spiders here work overtime and by Christmas everything will be covered in cobwebs...hehehe. Had the field and woods to ourselves today. Mum tried photographing the wildlife...hehe, no chance...not with us around...hehehe. Its been freezing cold but still no snow. We would love to have some to play in and build snowdogs. Hello Shadow, well we still have the snow, but it is very icy. Mum slipped on her bum twice this morning, so we haven't been for a walk this afternoon, because it hasn't thawed out. We have been playing in the garden together instead. Mum is scared as she broke her wrist when she slipped a year ago. We are leaving apple pie for you today. Hello Shadow and how are you today well this morning the guide dog trainer came over and she came and took me (Pearce) and Lena into town to practice the route and then me (Pearce) Lena and Silke went into Bletchley local town and did some shopping and we are already so well known even in our little tesco express someone spoke to the trainer about us two and then all of us got a chew to eat and now we are all relaxing before we go for a walk tonight leaving you lamb and mash xxxxxxxxxxxx tobynpipnpearce

Cooooeeeee Shadow I am racing round like the wind, as we have had a visitor and I had to enteratin him. you know, usual thing, putting my paws on his knee, rolling on my back for a tummy tickle. All this has taken time that is why I am very late. We still have lots of snow, although the road is clear at the moment. There are blizzards forecast for tonight and tomorrow. Mummy is hoping they have got it wrong, as she hates snow, but I love it, and have been wading through the fields, it was right up to my belly, and every part of me was soaking when we got home. Angus here… well, my daddy took Bertie’s daddy to the airport this morning, so they are off on holiday, until the end of next week. I am staying with daddy in his office. Bertie is with his neighbour. Its nice to stay with daddy all day. All his colleagues are making fussess of me, I think one lady has been looking forward to me coming in because she bought me a nice box of bonios. Isn’t that kind? Freezing cold though today..Bbbrrrr… Treats of a nice cup of hot tea and a beef pie.

Hi Shadow, well that was a fun day, Sarika timing her illness (both ends) with Mrs Davidmh being out and me being almost immobile. As I wrote in the forums I had to laugh (although I admit it was verging on HYSTERIA) and my attempt at clearing up would have made an interesting picture!! Anyway my gorgeous Princessliness seems a bit perkier today so hopefully she is on the mend but it is still OUCH as far as my back is concerned. Allowing for canine illnesses, my disc problem has its advantages as my domestic goddess days also seem over, at least temporarily, so no hoovering, lifting etc....I still can do a bit of dusting though if I get withdrawal symptoms .....WE WILL SEE. Anyway we shall continue to sing “ALWAYS LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE OF LIFE” and, as usual, the girlie gundogs and dobes join me in sending cuddles and kisses. And finally, Two cannibals are eating a clown. One cannibal turns to the other and asks, "Does this taste funny to you?" xx

Mummy and daddy are at work, and me at home keeping myself occupied with my toys and bird and squirrel watching. Hi Shadow, another very hot day today. 36deg/98f. I (Tess) spent the day at the vets. I had blocked anal glands, and a abscess. not very nice getting your bottom shaved. Morning Shadow we hope you are having a lovely day it is frezzzzzzzzzzzing here well we have had a lovely walk this morning there was this white stuff on the ground and i (bella) thought my luck was in because i thought it was snowwwwwwwwww but mummy told me it was only frost!! i didn't care i still went mad running around the field and playing with lots of other doggies we met a new doggie friend this morning his name was trigger the setter well he was big and not very obident heeheeeeee his mummy said he likes to 'hump' other doggies well i was having none of that after all i am taken now but that didn't stop him so i had a growl at him only a little one just to tell him to stop trying to 'hump' me that did work for abit then he tried again so his mummy took him away from us and then we saw archie and daisy the golden and black lab (archie is the golden one) well we had a run around with them and then mum wanted to take us home but we didn't want to go but in the end we gave into mum's demands and of home we trotted but did we make it home as quick as we should of done noooo mum stopped and talked to her friend who had bobby (the shitz zu) and pebbles (the lhapo laspo whatever they are called) i love playing with bobby and so does holly but mum would not let us off are leads now how unfair is that!! anyway we must stop talking now but we will leave a treat before we do now lets see you can have a frozen puddle and some fake snowwwwwwwwwwwwww love and sloopy kisses the mad and stinky bum bella and the just as mad and crazy pup holly xxxx

Hi Shadow, hope you are having a good week. I'm having a good time, Pop brought us some top soil for our lawn on the weekend ,it is the old soil from where he plays bowls so it's all full of nice fertilsers, it smells so nice and is lovely to lie on and I made the kitchen floor turn a nice shade of brown this morning. I can't wait for it to rain because I will have a nice big mud puddle to play in. Today I helped Mum put up the christmas decorations, we bought some solar powered fairy lights so we are waiting for it to get dark to see how well they work. Sending you some icecream and strawberries as it was very hot here today, love Angus

Hi Shadow, It was freezing here yesterday but no snow. Vet came out and checked Ella’s eye, she put this special dye in and there is still quite a big ulcer on her cornea, but it has shrunk a bit and is shallow so that is good news. She still wasn’t happy about it and wants to see her again next week so we have more drops and more antibiotic to play with. Don’t think Ella will ever speak to mum again as when she was out at the yard waiting for the vet the horse dentist came, Ella had been booked in but mum wasn’t sure if she wanted her done if she was poorly but she seemed fine enough so they went for it. Ella was not a happy girl, did her best to squash the poor man into the wall, trampled all over him but she got done in the end – so now she has a big white smile for her wedding. Mum got so cold hanging about the yard for a couple of hours I had to give her some big cuddles to try and warm her up again in time for us go back to the farm and give Ella her dinner. Of course by the time we went out to feed her it was pouring with rain but mum gave her an extra tasty dinner to make up for all she had put her through during the day and she didn’t protest too much when mum put the drops in her eye. Thick frost on the ground first thing – well at least that meant I didn’t get muddy on my morning run round the field. The little black and white cat was very brave as it was eating the food mum put out in the tack room when mum walked in there and he didn’t run away like he normally does so perhaps he is getting used to mum now. Hi Shadow! By-the-way, my name isn't Desmond (hee hee)! How are things there today? The weather man said that we would have 25c today but it started out all grey. Mum put me out first thing, then couldn't understand why I was all wet. It was drizzling & lasted for quite a while. It has now cleared....sun is even shining!! Ooo it was soooo exciting this morning!! Our neighbours across the road, have their son & his wife over from China. No, they aren't Chinese. Their son is an airline pilot with Dragon Air. Anyway, there was all this coming & going....all supervised by ME, from our front door. Then their caravan was hitched to the 4 wheel drive. That could only mean one thing......holidays!!!!! I was soooo good....didn't even bark!!! I was quite happy with the proceedings......until........Toby & Finn were carried out to the car!!! Finn did not want to go, he was kicking & squirming, whimpering & yapping. His mummy said he hates going in the car. Now I'm all upset because I won't have Finn pulling at his mum's curtains, just to get a glimpse of me! Hey, no wonder he was putting on such an act!!!! Mum says that I can keep an eye on their house for them.....hope she doesn't regret that (hee hee). I hope that you are having loads of fun. Today, you may have some lamb & vegie meatloaf. hay there it just quick one tonight as mum very tired and just wants this day to be over as she was doing a me last Saturday so we didn't do anything today mum put jake and bob outside as she didn't want us having a carry on all day and he barked all day mums parents should be glad they don't have any one that a pain in the neck around them mum keeps saying to jake owner (mum father) to sort it cause one day someone might complain mum would normal deal with it but she just wasn't feeling well at all today so that was pretty much it today mum found out who she had for her secret Santa and it was a laugh she got her sister. how was your day? did you do anything fun? luv the gang xx

Hiya Shadow, bet the lights look really pretty. we have had lots of snow today, it took mummy nearly two hours to get to work instead of 10 minutes!!! We had a snow ball fight and I managed to catch most of them in my mouth hehehehehehehehe. I am on the naughty step tonight, I had my second treat from the advent calender, mum then went upstairs so I decided that it was very mean just giving me one, so I ate them all, then realised what I had done and disappeared under the table, Mum is not very pleased, (thought I saw her laugh behind her hand though) Leaving you the empty calender and if you have any spare full doors please forward them!
