I'm sorry for your loss of Monty - he looked a lovely old boy. What a lucky boy he was finding you to take him in. He will be in doggy heaven now - if he meets my lovely Dayna he should say a woofy hello. I know what you mean about there never being another Monty. Both Dayna and her predecessor (Honey) were irreplaceable. When we get a new dog (hopefully soon), it won't be a replacement, it will be a successor. At least you have Tilly now - who I'm sure will hold as unique a place in your heart as Monty does. A tribute for Monty, and a treat for Tilly have been left.
