God looked around his garden,and found a empty place. He then looked down upon the earth,and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beauitful,he only takes the best. He knew that you were suffering,he knew you were in pain. He knew that you would never get well on earth again. He saw the the road was getting rough,and the hill's were hard to climb. So he closed you'r weary eye-lids and whispered "Peace be Thine" It broke our hearts to lose you,but you didn't go alone. The day they laid you down to sleep, I prayed to the Lord your soul to keep. Until the appointed day and time, when together we'll meet, and all will be fine. With all God's creatures, great and small, go run and play now, have a ball. No more aches, and no more pain, just bright sunshine, no more rain. Rest in peace, for now best friend, cradled in Gods' arms, to the end. Dream of that special day and time, when we'll meet at the Bridge one last time. Although we'll be separated for a long time, we'll be together then, and all will be fine. We'll cross Rainbow Bridge, side by side, with a soft warm feeling, deep down inside. I stood by your bed last night, I came to have a peep. I could see that you were crying, you found it hard to sleep. I whined to you softly, as you brushed away a tear. It's me, I haven't left you, I'm well, I'm fine, I'm here. I was close to you at breakfast, I watched you pour the tea. You were thinking of the many times, your hand reached down to me. I was with you at the shops today, your arms were getting sore. I longed to take your parcels; I wished I could do more. You looked so very tired, and sank into a chair. I tried so hard to let you know, that I was standing there. It's possible for me to be so near you everyday. To say to you with certainty, " I never went away". You sat there very quietly, then smiled, I think you knew. In the stillness of that evening, I was very close to you. The day is over, I smile and watch you yawn and say, "Goodnight God Bless, I'll see you in the morn". And when the time is right for you, to cross that brief divide. I'll rush across to greet you, and we'll stand side by side. I have so many things to show you, there is so much for you to see. Be patient, live your journey out, then come home to be with me. To lose someone you dearly love, is hard beyond belief. Your heart comes near to breaking, and no one knows your grief. We had a wonderful dog, and loved him to the end. We lost two precious things that day, our dog and our best friend.xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
