Hello Chance and all the gang! hope you and the rest of your family are all okay. We are getting a bit fed up with the rain at the moment but have managed to get out for our walks between showers. Its my birthday today – I am six now and had a special treat of roast chicken for tea. The man next door grows lots of vegetables and had some really big lettuces which he brought over for the tortoises. He left them by the back door and guess what – mum saw Kia running down the garden with what was left of one of them and it turns out Kia had eaten practically the whole lot!! Her belly was sticking out both sides! She takes every opportunity she can to EAT. After dinner the other day she came out of the kitchen with her face covered with spots of gravy where she had reached up onto the worktop and licked the roasting tin – it was splattered all over the place. Doesn’t matter how much mum tells her off she persists in stealing whatever she can. Leaving you a piece of my birthday cake for your treat today. Love and Licks from Jackson (and Kia the phantom food pincher) xxx

Hi Chance, today didn't start as we planned, my Mum hasn't been happy about Kizzy, one of our cats, so she went to the vet & I had my anal glands empited, we then went a nice walk along the sea front, I was joined by one of my best friends Lucy, I am her toyboy as she is 6 months older than I, we did have a nice paddle in the sea & played fetch with my ball. Mum also decided to put the conservatory fan we had brought from the old house into our bedroom, it was quite expensive as we paid for a silent one that doesn't buzz as the wings spin & has been in a box for 4 years, the reason behind the idea, Mum & Dad sleep with the window open so I don't get too hot at night but if the cats misbehave, I bark & my Mum & Dad are worried my loud bark will wake up the neighbours during the unsociable hours, so hence they hatched this plot, my Dad doesn't know Mum has gone ahead with the idea as he is out tonight, she just hope he agrees with what she has done, as they could be just a little hiccup, the ceilings are lower here, certainly much lower than our old conservatory roofing & Dad being over 6ft tall, the fan is only 6ft above the ground, bumps on the head comes to mind, so my Mum has moved the bed to accomodate the fan. Naturally, I was there overseeing the work was carried out to my specifications, I even got on the bed to monitor the work. Leaving you a chicken kebab tonight With love, Dylan xx xx

Hello Chance, I have been to my hydrotheraphy today for my arthritics, the lady who looks after me, ordered some S.T.P (Stop The Pain), it comes from America & is specially formulated for horses but they have developed a supplement for dogs, so we hope to give it a try & it works. Yesterday, my Mum & Dad started to making our 'scarecrows' for the village festival, this year the theme is movie magic. Most of the entrants do figures, we always enter 'animal scarecrows' & this year will be no different, if our ideas work, we will post them on my kennel in a month's time, We are assembling 5 animal characters & one human figure. The Sunday roast is today's treat. Love, Dylan & the cats: Kizzy, Patches, Lucy, Whisky, Zebedee & Skimble xx xx

Hi, Chance. Glad to report my paw is better. My paw is soooo better me and Benji helped in the garden this morning and dug a big hole behind the garage. Don't know if mum was pleased or not, she got out the magic sponge and fluffy towel to clean us up. Can't see is matters if the carpet is muddy or not, but she thinks it does. Sending you a bag of biscuits and a fluffy towel in case you get wet.Love from Bobby XX

Hi guys, hope you all and your family are well. How have you been? Wots the weather like your end? Well, it's official ! Our house is MAD! Phoebe wee'd in human bro's potty yesterday! human bro did a poo on her training pad, then went outside and cocked his leg up the line post for a wee! I'm training him well !!!!! i think his potty training is going very well with my help! I have even taught him to bark and crawl on his hands and knees! Can't think why mum is getting so stressed over it!!! hehehe. Oh yes ! our furry friends the 'guinea pigs' pulled mum's curtain through the cage last night and chewed loads of holes in it !! oooops! Snuggles the 'bunny' chewed a hole in one of mum's boots earlier when he woz out for a run! Oh, and just this minute, Phoebe has poo'd on human bro's car playmat! Whaaaaaaaaaaaah! Can anyone help save our sanity!!! hehehe. We wish you and your family a lovely weekend, hopefully it won't be MAD like our's! hehe. Leaving jam doughnuts today, take care and have lots of fun our dear friends, love jack, Poopy pants Phoebe, family and mini zoo xxxxxxx

Hello Chance, before I tell you about my antics, our condolences for Gis & his family, he was a good friend & we all all going to miss him so much. After quite an uneventful week, I was on good form this morning with my walk (that was until, I got too hot). Firstly, I had to chase Zebedee, one of our cats back to the house, he has a habit of following us on our walks, all claws out, as he tried to deter my attempts to get him back home, needless to say, Mum & dog outwit the cat. Next, I met the Old English Sheepdog from the farm, who had decided to go for a walk by himself, I am not too keen on Henk, he is bigger than me, Mum grabbed him by the collar & phoned the lady, as we weren't that far from home, Mum decided it was a good idea to put him on my lead return home to fetch the spare lead, I was having none of this, so I barked & tried to get Henk away from my Mum, he slipped his collar & ran, although, this friendly warning was instigated by myself, I am not to blame, my Mum says he is a nice dog but he is a little bit too friendly at times & I have a long memory. Anyhow, off he trotted home & was caught by Patsy, a German Pointer & her human. Patsy is more tolerant than me & they led Henk home, as I was pulling on my lead (just trying to assert my authority). Watercress soup, devilled eggs & honey roasted salmon today, my Mum is experimenting again. Love, Dylan & the cats xx xx

Hello our friends! It's great to hear from you all, hope you and your family are all well. Sorry we havn't been on here for a few days, had a hectic weekend. We can't believe another of our friends 'Gis' has gone to rainbow bridge, it's so sad. How have you been our friends? We had the animal behavourists round saturday, they met Phoebe and thought she woz totally mad! hehe. They even had me doing some tricks! for treats of course! hehe. Phoebe and me will be going to their classes in 3 weeks time, so will keep you posted on how they go. Mum has been walking Phoebe and me at different times as Phoebe tripped me up on saturday with the lead and i scraped my nose on the ground, ouch! mum thinks it is best until Phoebe calms down abit and can also go for longer walks, as she can only walk for 10mins then mum picks her up for the rest of the walk, but she wriggles and squirms and tries to jump down. So i am back to my nice 'peaceful, injury free walks' ! hehe. Well best be off for now, as mum has to go out, take care our friends, leaving chicken and vegetable pie with mash potato, love to you and your family, Jack and Phoebe xxxxxxxxxx
