Hi Mattie, today didn't start as we planned, my Mum hasn't been happy about Kizzy, one of our cats, so she went to the vet & I had my anal glands empited, we then went a nice walk along the sea front, I was joined by one of my best friends Lucy, I am her toyboy as she is 6 months older than I, we did have a nice paddle in the sea & played fetch with my ball. Mum also decided to put the conservatory fan we had brought from the old house into our bedroom, it was quite expensive as we paid for a silent one that doesn't buzz as the wings spin & has been in a box for 4 years, the reason behind the idea, Mum & Dad sleep with the window open so I don't get too hot at night but if the cats misbehave, I bark & my Mum & Dad are worried my loud bark will wake up the neighbours during the unsociable hours, so hence they hatched this plot, my Dad doesn't know Mum has gone ahead with the idea as he is out tonight, she just hope he agrees with what she has done, as they could be just a little hiccup, the ceilings are lower here, certainly much lower than our old conservatory roofing & Dad being over 6ft tall, the fan is only 6ft above the ground, bumps on the head comes to mind, so my Mum has moved the bed to accomodate the fan. Naturally, I was there overseeing the work was carried out to my specifications, I even got on the bed to monitor the work. Leaving you a chicken kebab tonight With love, Dylan xx xx

hay there how are you? well we had a lazy day as mum couldn't sleep last night she didn't sleep till 10am so her and maggie done all the stuff she had to do that day before she went to sleep which included looking at maggie eyes she was worried about them they didn't look normal so maggie had to go to the vet that night the vet said maggie has an infection in her eye so she gave mum drops to put in her eyes 3 times a day the vet put one lot in it cost £28.50 for it mum was shocked how much it was and then when we came home mum took bob for a walk then we just relaxed the rest of the night how has the weather been? the weather was strange were i stay one min it blue sky sun next it raining what did you get upto? thanks for the treat it was taste leaving you a bag of goodies enjoy x

Hello Mattie, I have been to my hydrotheraphy today for my arthritics, the lady who looks after me, ordered some S.T.P (Stop The Pain), it comes from America & is specially formulated for horses but they have developed a supplement for dogs, so we hope to give it a try & it works. Yesterday, my Mum & Dad started to making our 'scarecrows' for the village festival, this year the theme is movie magic. Most of the entrants do figures, we always enter 'animal scarecrows' & this year will be no different, if our ideas work, we will post them on my kennel in a month's time, We are assembling 5 animal characters & one human figure. The Sunday roast is today's treat. Love, Dylan & the cats: Kizzy, Patches, Lucy, Whisky, Zebedee & Skimble xx xx

Hi Mattie, I was told I was a silly dog, Mum gave me a bone to chew and bury, I took it outside and left it in the mud, my Dad brought it in again, so I took it just outside again and left it in the same place, at least, I wasn't as silly as the cats, that got scared when chased by a empty flower pot from Friday's high winds. Mum has been experimenting in the kitchen again, fish as a starter, roast as a main course, followed by fruit, it was a bit more fancy than it sounds, but all treats go down the same way. Love, Dylan & the cat team x

Bald puppy came to visit again this morning, she is fairly cute ( would probably look better with more fur & longer ears) but apparently she will be staying all day Saturday (eek) Twice in one week is really too much she needs so much of MY mums attention. …Hmmm wonder if it can be taught to throw a ball …. Anyway enough grumbling, leaving you a treat from Belle, Karla & Mum x

Eeeek! Mum just got out the suitcase things, that’s not good it means she’ll be going away soon. She did say not to worry just yet as she was only sorting out the bits she was taking to the orphans in Egypt. I even got the cat to sit in it but it didn’t slow her up for long. Karla seems totally unaware of what’s going on so isn’t worried at all….BUT I DON’T LIKE IT !!!!! Oh well I’ll just have to keep a close eye on her. Leaving you a treat from Belle, Karla & Mum x

Hi Mattie, ...a RANT AND A LAUGH TODAY. First the RANT.....What is it about some cyclists? On our walk this morning I saw a cyclist coming down the footpath. I called Sarika and Purdey (Max was still asleep), they came to me, and, with them, I stood off the edge of the path in a field which had young corn growing. Whereupon, as he came by, I got a load of abuse from the cyclist about standing on the crop etc. I pointed out that I had collected the dogs and got them out of his way despite me, as a pedestrian, having right of way over him on the path. It had been clear that he wasn't going to stop. He said not to worry about the dogs because if they came anywhere near him he would kick them out of the way. It is probably not advisable to put my next words and thoughts in writing!!!!,.....And now a LAUGH......We found Sarika and Purdey stuck to the fridge this morning, the little sods had been at the fridge magnets so I guess it served them right! It made walking quite entertaining when we got near things metal. Only joking! Today's treat from the girls and doberdog is a no-go area for difficult cyclists and a fridge magnet (recycled!). Have fun x
