Let's go for a walk meet another dog
How do i look. Helo i am Sabre A gsd x , i am 12 years old. I used to do Heelwork to music but had to retire due to ill health. I have had cancer of the leg when i was 2 years old, a tumour of the face 18 months ago and a large growth on my side . I also suffer from tias which are small strokes.I still enjoy demonstrating when feeling well at the fun day for the Dogs Trust and RSPCA..

My mums friend brought around a new friend for us to play with yesterday. He is a little 12 week old collie X Springer Spaniel. We were having lots of fun until Mum got that camera thing out ( Grrrr I really hate that thing) I had to hide until it went away but at least she didn’t get it out for too long. Hi Sabre, what do you think of this, humans didn't even ask my opinion or consult me, I came home from my hydrotheraphy on Sunday, I been so good, I went into the pool by myself, swam around in circles without complaint, suffered the hoover dryer, sat patiently under the dog sunbed, then waited in the car when they dashed into the shops, came home and there it was, patter of tiny paws, not another dog for me to play with but another CAT, a ginger ball of fuff with claws. I did hear my Mum say to Dad, 'I know we were not looking for another cat, but I can't resist a snob story' but do they know, another cat, I have to keep under control, certainly I am made to work for my treats and fuss. I made it known just away, I was the BOSS of this household. This cat, who they are calling Pussycat at present, until a name is decided upon ( they do this every time, it takes about a week for humans to agree on a suitable name), is exploring the place. This morning, Mum was running a bath and Pussycat jumped in and started to drink the bath water, doesn't he know, we do supply water bowls in this house, at least he has learnt, I have a very loud bark and I will still demand my tummy tickles first. Leaving you a string of sausages before the cats get to them. Love, Dylan xx xx

Hi Sabre, today didn't start as we planned, my Mum hasn't been happy about Kizzy, one of our cats, so she went to the vet & I had my anal glands empited, we then went a nice walk along the sea front, I was joined by one of my best friends Lucy, I am her toyboy as she is 6 months older than I, we did have a nice paddle in the sea & played fetch with my ball. Mum also decided to put the conservatory fan we had brought from the old house into our bedroom, it was quite expensive as we paid for a silent one that doesn't buzz as the wings spin & has been in a box for 4 years, the reason behind the idea, Mum & Dad sleep with the window open so I don't get too hot at night but if the cats misbehave, I bark & my Mum & Dad are worried my loud bark will wake up the neighbours during the unsociable hours, so hence they hatched this plot, my Dad doesn't know Mum has gone ahead with the idea as he is out tonight, she just hope he agrees with what she has done, as they could be just a little hiccup, the ceilings are lower here, certainly much lower than our old conservatory roofing & Dad being over 6ft tall, the fan is only 6ft above the ground, bumps on the head comes to mind, so my Mum has moved the bed to accomodate the fan. Naturally, I was there overseeing the work was carried out to my specifications, I even got on the bed to monitor the work. Leaving you a chicken kebab tonight With love, Dylan xx xx

Hello Sabre, I have been to my hydrotheraphy today for my arthritics, the lady who looks after me, ordered some S.T.P (Stop The Pain), it comes from America & is specially formulated for horses but they have developed a supplement for dogs, so we hope to give it a try & it works. Yesterday, my Mum & Dad started to making our 'scarecrows' for the village festival, this year the theme is movie magic. Most of the entrants do figures, we always enter 'animal scarecrows' & this year will be no different, if our ideas work, we will post them on my kennel in a month's time, We are assembling 5 animal characters & one human figure. The Sunday roast is today's treat. Love, Dylan & the cats: Kizzy, Patches, Lucy, Whisky, Zebedee & Skimble xx xx

Hi Sabre, hope you all had a lovely Easter. Life has been a bit chaotic recently, so haven't been on DS as much as we had hoped. Our electrical applicances are becoming ill, 1st the hoover, today the dishwasher, my Dad is not well, so maybe he is the 3rd but Mum has reassured him, he will not be replaced, as if I would let her. Two of our cats, Kizzy & Amber, are also not well, Mum is happier with Kizzy, although the vet is still on the cards but was v worried about Amber & took her down to the vet today, she had quite a high temperature but the injections given, seems to have had a positive effect & she was scratching the cat post after being in hibernation, for most of yesterday & this morning, she returns to the vet on Thurs, so fingers crossed, the nasty virsus she caught will have subsided. I have fully recovered from my small op which was a fatty cyst, still a bit stiff on the legs, so I might be back on the dreaded pills. As Dad is feeling not too good, it is cold chickem today for the treat, as Mum wants Dad to have something that is gentle on his stomach. Love, Dylan & the cats x

Sorry we have not been around, mum and dad have been so busy trying to train Bally not to go across the road, we first used the whistle which seemed to work for a while but then she started to ignore it, now she is using a spray commander on the beep sound, so lets hope this works. She is so naughty. Leaving you cauliflower cheese and chips xxx
