Hi Trixie, how are you? SHOCK HORROR SENSATIONAL NEWS........ the doggies are all very well but one of them (GUESS WHO?) is in David’s bad books. Did I ever tell you that Purdey can do the “backstroke”...seemingly for a laugh she will travel around in the house on her back, pushing herself along with her hind legs. She really is a clown. Anyway, after being NAMED and SHAMED I thought that she would turn over a new leaf on the poo subject. Well she sort of did......turn over a new leaf........she actually rolled on a leaf yesterday..........unfortunately the leaf was underneath a pile of very fresh deer poo. My heart sank when, having rolled, she then decided to do the “backstroke” on the poo too. And then this person came along and said...”she is covered in it” (I think that was the word).....”thank you” said I. GRRRRRRRRRRR. She has now decided to be a guard dog although her kennel picture is causing me some concern on that subject too. Anyway, today we are sending over a royal wave from the princess, sweet dreams from dobes and, you guessed it, a leaf from Purdey. Have fun x. PS I would handle the leaf with care!
Hi Trixie, the girlie gundogs reminded me of my long lost youth today because they were chasing birds. Their targets, unlike mine in the good old days, were of the feathered variety (have no fear my ornithological friends, the bells on the girlies collars act as a very effective early warning system) with magpies and pigeons on the agenda. All the creeping, pointing and "I am invisible" positions adopted were very amusing to watch and brought back "David in the disco" memories - most of which were very painful and I am not just talking about the resultant arthritis. In their new role as a David Tribute Ensemble called "Remember the (a number I am not going to tell you, you'll have to guess)ties" the girls and doberdog are today dropping off a pair of bottle green velvet flares, a pink floral shirt, a tank top and some Brut aftershave. Hmmmmm on reflection those could explain a great deal, particularly the "lack of success"!!! Have fun x
Hi Trixi,
Thanks for my birthday wishes, I managed to sniff out all my presents two days before my birthday so only had toys to unwrap from my doggie friends. Mum says Im turning into a grumpy old man.
Hope your and your mum are well,

Hi Trixie, just popping by to wish you and your family a very Happy New Year. We've just got back from our New Year's walk and are curled up on the sofa to watch a film with Mum. Ah bliss. The Christmas toys are all chewed and scattered around us and the biscuit tin is still bulging. We love this time of year, don't you? Love Milo and Roly x
Hi Trixie, a quick visit from the girls and doberdog to deliver a virtual bottle of canine "pop" to you and from me to wish you and your humans a wonderful New Year. Have fun.
Hi Trixie, well what a wet day we've had today! Mum went back to work today so we had to have an early walk in the dark AND the rain! I didn't mind so much but Roly wasn't impressed and has been grumpy all day because of it...or maybe it's because Kat is sleeping in his new bean bag! Hmmmmmmmm! Hope you managed to get out and enjoy yourself. Love Milo (and Roly) x
Hi Trixie. Dorset for Christmas sounds lovely. Have you been to see Jasper at all? We were going to go this week but Mum's hand is bad so she's not supposed to drive very far (not really supposed to drive at all but that's another story!). Hopefully we'll go as soon as it's better. We met up with some other Doggysnaps friends at the weekend. There were 10 of us in all and we made a lovely picture. Take a look at Lucy's kennel (theemmanewman) to see us all enjoying Alice Holt Forest. Hopefully we will meet up with you soon too. Take care and keep dry. Love Milo and Roly x
Hi Trixie. Well our holiday was brilliant! Long walks along the estuary every morning and afternoons on the beach! The cottage was lovely and really snug although the open plan stairs were a bit challenging! Mum has already booked a return trip in the Spring. Can't wait. Sending you an extra blanket tonight. It's a cold one out there! Love Milo and Roly. x
It's a quick visit tonight as it's real late. Leaving you a nice cup of horlicks and a biscuit. Lots of love always Alfie xox PS I drank mummy's horlicks tonight.
Good evening my friend!! My trip to the groomers went well although I kicked up a fuss just before we got there. I wrapped my legs around Mummy's leg and clung onto her. She thought it was funny and sweet. I knew where I was going and didn't want to go! I cried as she left me there, I made a terrible noise, but as soon as she went I was OK. I just have to let her know that leaving me is just not on! Anyway, I look all super cool now, and apparently I smell gorgeous, but I don't know about that! Mummy got two new pet portrait commissions today so she's happy, and I'm happy as it means she's home with me :) I'm finally meeting Bruce on Friday. YAY! Time for bed. Here's a cup of warm horlicks for you. Nighty night. lots of love your friend always Alfie xox
There hasn't been too many fireworks going off tonight, but there's been a fair few! I act all brave and go running down the garden but really I'm terrified. Having an early night tonight, I've got a busy and stressful day tommorrow....The GROOMERS!!! Here's some pizza for you. Lots of love your friend always Alfie xox
One more sleepy until Halloween, I'm so excited are you? I haven't done a great deal today, but I did go on two nice walks though. Mummy has now given me a dental chew and I'm sending one for you too. Sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite. I'll pop in and see you tommorrow after I've been trick or treating. Love your pal Alfie xox PS HAPPY 100TH TREAT!
Hi there Trixie, have you got your Mum to give up work yet and stay home with you? No? Us neither!!! Hope you've had a good day. We went to the forest and there were loads of squirrels to chase and we even saw a fox! It's been a bit chilly this way though and Mum has made me war my coat. I usually kick up a fuss but have to admit I was quite pleaed to have it these past few days! Must be getting soft in my old age!!! Love Milo x
Hi Trixi,
My mums not been on here too much either recently, shes not been too well and also busy sorting things for moving. Only three weeks to go now, cant believe it. You'll have to come and visit us. There are going to be lots of lovely walks in the forest. We'll still try and meet up at the seaside next year when the weather is better too so you havent seen the last of us yet. Hope you have a good weekend.
Love Jas and mum XX
Hi Trixie, sorry we haven't been around for a while. Mum says it's a full time job keeping up with all our friends on Doggysnaps. So we said, ok, give up your other job then and stay home with us!!! She didn't reply?!!! Anyway she was home today and we've just been for a great walk. It's unusual for us to walk in the afternoon but Mum wasn't feeling well this morning so we all went back to bed for a couple of hours and tried again later!!! She's OK now so she took us up to the forest and Roly nearly caught a squirrel! It was only a baby one and was having trouble climbing the tree. It fell out twice! But managed to grab a hold again and got away. Roly was a bit miffed but Mum said it deserved to get away. There were loads of others to chase and even some deer but we know they are too fast for us. Hope you are having a good day. Love Milo and Roly x
Hi Trixie, Mum's missed doggy snaps for a while due to a technical glitch with her lap top. Normal service is now resumed lol!!! Tonights treat is fish, chips and curry sauce as she's catching up with all my friends treats and doesn't have time to cook. Love Dylan. xxxx
