Hi Barney, well that was a fun day, Sarika timing her illness (both ends) with Mrs Davidmh being out and me being almost immobile. As I wrote in the forums I had to laugh (although I admit it was verging on HYSTERIA) and my attempt at clearing up would have made an interesting picture!! Anyway my gorgeous Princessliness seems a bit perkier today so hopefully she is on the mend but it is still OUCH as far as my back is concerned. Allowing for canine illnesses, my disc problem has its advantages as my domestic goddess days also seem over, at least temporarily, so no hoovering, lifting etc....I still can do a bit of dusting though if I get withdrawal symptoms .....WE WILL SEE. Anyway we shall continue to sing “ALWAYS LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE OF LIFE” and, as usual, the girlie gundogs and dobes join me in sending cuddles and kisses. And finally, Two cannibals are eating a clown. One cannibal turns to the other and asks, "Does this taste funny to you?" xx

Cooooeeeeeeee Barney well wasn't Mischas party fabulous, I hardly recognized anyone in their masks.Today is absolutely freezing, with lots of frost and icy puddles everywhere. This morning I met Sally the lab and we practically ran all the way up the track and onto the moors. The heather was really crispy and we both ended up with frost stuck to our noses with all the sniffing. The poor sheep were covered in frost as well, but they didn't seem bothered and were grazing away. When we got home Mummy stood me in the bath in the warm water to thaw out my paws. I was shivering so I have been laid down in front of the fire chewing me dental stix. Leaving you a warm cheese scone. yummy. wags and sniffs Jenny xxxxxxxx

Hi Barney, tip to self(1)....be more careful when lifting and turning with a full bucket of water. No, I didn’t spill it on the floor, in fact I rather wish I had....instead I have ended up with a prolapsed disc in my lower spine. And yes, it was OUCH (amongst other words) then, OUCH now and OUCH for some time to come. At least the doggies are all “in the pink”...well, actually the girlie gundogs, the Princessliness Sarika and Purdey the Poomonster, are in the not surprisingly MUD COLOURED BROWN (the paths and tracks round here being filthy at the moment) and Max, well Max is in a bed which I suppose could be pink but is actually BLUE. Anyway they join their injured slave in sending their regards. And finally, one for the anglers.....Two parrots are sitting on a perch. One turns to the other and says "Can you smell fish?" xx

Hi Barney, been looking everywhere for you, wondered when i would bump into you, Mischa certainly knows how to throw a good birthday bash, well Billy-b has a couple of admirers then , Bella & Holly, they are drooling over him in his parker, calm down laydees, i here they are free & single & looking for a hunk, wow, look at the size of that buffet, who is that with his head in the chocolate fountain, no it cant be, it is its Toney, better leave some for me, ah there's Jenny doing the foxtrot with Rosco, don't know how she manges to balance in those heels, nice legs though, is that the jackmac gang just arrived, what a good idea, they have dressed up as reindeers, well you would never guess it was them until you got a close look, i see Gimli is wearing a very fetching dress, i am so glad he decided to COME OUT ! oh dear, Toggle & Button are drunk already, well they are only little & cant really hold their cockertails, i think they have only had one between them, Desmond is doing his usual strip tease, i will have to make sure Shadow adverts her eyes, well shes not used to seeing so little, hehehe, Teddy's doing his pole dance, i just hope his kilt don't blow up so we get a view of his bloomers like last time, he is wearing them isn't he, well seems to be a normal party then, I'm just off up to the bar, the cockertails are on me, must mingle, love & licks Maxy moo, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Barney, well it is a good thing that my little friend is finally getting done, of course it wont stop him completely, i have a big fluffy cushion that i like to hump sometimes, usually when we have company, mummy says it is most embarrassing, hehehe, well its another gloomy, foggy, damp day here, not been doing much today, I took daddy up the heath, i had to keep his lead on at first, well never sure if he will run off or not & he doesn't know his way home on his own, hehehe, well joy of joys what did i find, yep, bunny poo, daddy wasn't paying too much attention to me so i had a fine feast then a good old roll in it, well he still didn't seem to notice my lovely aroma, oh goody i thought I've got away with this, further along i found some more bunny poo, had another roll in it, I'm on to a good thing here i thought then just as i was about to stick my nose in it again i got caught, poor daddy he tried to wipe some off with a tissue but put his fingers through it, he started gagging & i thought he was going to be sick, i think he did too, well when we got home he put all the blame on me & told mummy it wasn't his fault i was too quick for him, well mummy didn't believe that, she knows I'm not very speedy, so she told daddy i was just being a Labrador all be it a very mucky one & i thought awww mummy is so lovely, yes that was until she put me in the dreaded bath, now i always know when i am getting bathed, no it is not the sound of the bathwater or my special shampoo coming out, mummy always wears her swimsuit when she baths me, cant think why, hehehe, well i do make rather a lot of splashing & i do get her rather wet, once I'm in the bath splashing about i rather enjoy it though, mummy says i smell lovely now, like roses, believe me, i stink horrible, will have to do something about that, hehehe, lets keep out paws crossed for our buddy Biggie, hope he is soon home with his mummy, i got you a cup of cappuccino & some coffee & walnut cake, love & licks Maxy moo, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
