Trying to get the yard cleaned up after winter. Starting some seeds. It's amazing how fast they grow!

Hey, Duke here (the dog who reads the newspaper) that picture was taken a good while ago and since I have gotten a couple of haircuts and I don't have that problem with reading the latest news anymore! Leaving you a yummy treat. Duke and his Mommy.

Hi there Dexter. Just back from my walk with Mom – it’s a lovely day today but the wind is blowing a wee bit; I don’t like it too windy because it messes up my hair!! I feel the need for a snooze coming on so I’ll just go and stake my claim to the sofa. Well, I haven’t been up to much this week, it has been quite quiet since Dad when back to work, and Bella and Amber’s Mom (twosillybasseets) went back offshore so we didn’t see them much either. We went to the new flat to take some cleaning equipment over; it’ll be great when the furniture is in and everything because we are so close to the beach and I’ll get some great romping sessions. Anyway, leaving chocolate biscuits for a treat today, have a great week-end end and will be in touch again very soon. Love and wags, Shannon xxxx

Hi there Dexter how have you been? Just checking in as we haven’t been round for a while. Blame my secretary (aka Mommy Dear) she says she has just been too busy to come on a write a few words, but she wasn’t too busy to check out the forums and stick her two-pennarth in there was she? The fish is still hanging in there, and we just don’t know if it is suffering or not. Someone said the best way to dispatch them is to put them in the freezer for a while – but that seems so cruel. She is still trying to eat and just seems to have a buoyancy problem and mostly is lying on the bottom; so what do you think we should do – try and keep her alive or let her go? Oh the decisions; Mom just isn’t sure if she can “do the deed” as Naomi is still a little active. Well we have been quite busy for the last week or so, Dad came home on Saturday but we had to take him back to the airport today because he had to fly off to Ireland to see my human step-brother. He’ll be back on Sunday though and then we can have some fun in the garden. Mom and I will be going shopping on Thursday for some bedroom furniture and a new lounge suite – they saw one they liked on Monday but Mom wasn’t sure, so she is going back on Thursday to check it out again. I told Mom that I would willingly go and “Shannon-test” it but she isn’t sure the geezer in the shop would be too thrilled about that, so I’ll just have to stay in the car. I don’t mind though, I love car rides. Well nothing much else exciting has happened so I’ll go and have a snooze the noo!! Ta ta for now, leaving cottage pie ‘n’ peas for a treat. Love, Shannon xxxx

Hello Dexter, how are you today? I’ve got a sore paw again and Mom keeps putting the pesky sock on me – I look such a chump in it. Still, it does stop me licking and nibbling at the pad which I am told is not good for me – but I like it and I’m sure doing what you like has got to be good for you .. don’t you agree? Like the fact that I L O V E to roll in deer poo (or any other smelly stuff) and it makes me feel great, SO it’s got to be good for me, right? Now Mom complains and moans all the time about me stinking and she gives me a bath – which makes HER feel good. Now I ask you, how can my rolling in deer poo not be good for everyone involved? I look forward to hearing all of your comments on this delicate point. Have a great day, leaving scrambled egg for a treat. Lots of love, Shannon xxxx.
