Dear Emmy-May, So sad that you lost your fight with cancer. Jan found this poem on another tribute 7 she hopes it helps your Mum with her sad loss. Today I touched your face again and watched you for awhile, I talked of things deep in my heart and wished I could see your smile. I rubbed your head and told you, I'm proud of you my angel, For all the little things you did and the way you did each one. You showed such courage daily and you taught me how to live, To make each moment count in life and to give all I can give. Did I tell you "Your my hero" when I saw you yesterday? Or did it slip my mind as I put you away? I know your time on earth was short, but it's how you lived each day, You made the most of what you had and always found a way, To touch the hearts around you, to love while you may. I wish with all my heart right now, the face I touched today, Wasn't made of paper or neatly placed away. Bless you sweet Emmy. You look like a short haired version of Jodie who also went to doggy heaven back in May. We feel her with us all the time and I'm sure your folks will too. She came to Wimbledon with us and has just got back from Cornwall too. They are never far away. Tribute sent. xxxxx

To Emmy-May, You are now at peace to enjoy life over the rainbow bridge where there is no pain, just happiness. Your owner will join you in the future where you will be united & enjoy your new found lives together. The hole left in our heartis enourmous & will never never be totally healed but hopefully you will find the courage to have another sole mate which will help you with your grief.
