Hi Tyvan Lad, hope you are well. We are back from our holiday in Lincolnshire and we all had a very good time, we will add some photos soon, the dogs especially enjoyed Skegness beach all that sand as it's just pebbles were we are and it was dog friendly. Now for the news on Jacks x-ray, the vet said he has a torn ligament or something in his knee and scar tissue so it wont get any better (not sure what it all means can anyone explain) and he also has artheritis in his hips so he is now on metacam for the rest of his life as it keeps the inflamation down and so relives the pain. Bubble and squeak is your treat for today xxx

Good day to you. Well the visit to the vet wasn't too bad. Shots and a nail clipping. The ladies there really like me, so they spoil me a bit. The only bad news was that I gained weight again! I now weigh in at just over 97 lbs. Mom was embarassed cuz she knows that it's really her fault for being such a soft touch.
Today is a birthday party for another great nephew just turning 1 year old. After the weigh in, I don't suppose I will be getting any cake. I hope that the weather has been cooperating for your weekend adventures, and that you and yours are all well. Leaving you crab rangoon for a snack. Love, Dexter
Evening Laddie. How slow is the site tonight? It has taken nearly ten minutes to reach your kennel!! Hope all is well with you. Well, it's been another sunny and warm day here today. I spent the day lazing in the kitchen with the back door wide open, watching the birds in between naps. What a life!! Take care my friend, and treat tonight is a chicken sandwich. Lotsa love Harvey x x Big licks Katie and Norman x x x
Hi Laddie, well the sun is shining again and mum is off work, we are lazing in the garden awaiting our walkies……..we hope you are well and having a lovely day……sending you some strawberries and cream……love n wags Jazz and Harry xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Afternoon Laddie. Hope things are well with you. A wet and cold day here today - can't complain though as it has been so hot of late. Had a lovely early morning plod and found lots of bottles to carry home. I made mum carry one too. Well, I do have to keep her busy. Hehe! Mum had threatened me with a long hike this afternoon! How very dare she, but luck is on my side. It is now pouring with rain and the sky is very black, so I have had a reprieve!! What a result!! Curling up and sleeping is the order of the afternoon now! Hehe! Take care my friend and treat is meatballs and pasta. Lotsa love Harvey x x Big licks Katie and Norman x x x
Hello friend. Taking a break from enjoying the beautiful weather here. 80 during the day, 55 at night. Perfect. Well last night on our walk we spotted a large bird in a freshly cut field not too far from our place. Mom couldn't figure out at first what it was. She thought it might be a hawk, but it was hard to tell cuz it was standing on the ground (usually we see them flying, or perched up high). About that time it took flight, and sure enough it was a red- tailed hawk. Mom saw it again on her way home from work today, but this time it was perched on top of one of the big round hay bales. She finds those birds of prey fascinating, and she hasn't seen the neighborhood eagles for a while. I think their probably already at the river by the time we go out for our morning walk. Anyway, enough about that. It sounds like everyone is enjoying some sunshine lately, and I say it's about time. For a while there I thought we would all float away. Mom has made us some of jeanie weenies taco dip (yes, that's really what it's called). So we will have that and some white corn tortilla chips for treat. See you in a couple days. Love, Dexter
Afternoon Laddie. Hope all is well with you today. Well, I had a lovely, gentle walk this morning. The sun was blazing and the sky was bright blue. We got home and mum did all the washing. Just as it was about to go on the line the heavens opened and down came huge hailstones!! Fancy having hailstones in June!! Weird weather. They have stopped now, but the sky is very black!! I think I shall just stay curled up on the sofa. Hehe! Take care my friend and treat today is a fruit salad. Lotsa love Harvey x x Big licks Katie and Norman x x x
Hellooooo Laddie ... long-time no bark!!! How are you both? We haven't seen you around much so suspect your mum's busy again ... these humans really need to get their priorities right!!! For your treat today, we're leaving you a bowl of cereal. luv 'n' woofs Molly, Roly & Sir Barkalot xxxxxx
Hello again friend. Much catching up to do. Well as mom says, "It's always something around here!" Mom had the day off yesterday, so she thought she would hit a city wide garage sale in a neighboring town, run a few errands, come home for lunch, then go babysit. It sounds like a nice plan except for one detail. It was very windy yesterday, and when she got home and was putting away the groceries, there was a very loud boom, the house shook, and then the lights went out. Mom was sure part of a tree had fallen on the house, but when she went outside to look it was even worse. The branch hadn't hit the house, but it had taken down the power line as well as part of another tree. She could see the big branch, and a lot of sparks. Mom has a healthy respect for electricity, (especially when it is unbound), so she immediately put me in the car, and we got the hell out of there. Most of the neighbors were at work, but the one who was home just happens to be the one whose husband works for the power company. So she called it in for us and a tech arrived ASAP. Thank God! Turns out we had to call an electrician to repair the meter loop. Good thing mom has a nephew in that business. Long story longer, by the time she got back from babysitting, we had power again. Then she got to spend her evening trying to clean up the mess. It's all up except for the actual branch off the oak tree. It's a humdinger. Mom couldn't even roll it, it was so heavy. She'll have to get someone with a bigger chainsaw than hers for that one. Anyway, that is what's up with us. Hope your lives have been calmer, and safer than that. Of course nothing can interupt the cooking. Mom made brownies loaded with walnuts, so that's our treat today. Love Dexter
Evening Laddie. Hope you have had a lovely day. It has been boiling hot here all day. Mum as had all the doors and windows open, and I have been lazing on the cool kitchen floor, watching all the birds in the garden. What a hard life! Hehe! Take care my friend, and treat is a bowl of vanilla ice cream. Lotsa love Harvey x x Big licks Katie and Norman x x
Helloooooooo!!! Well we haven't been round for a while as mum has been rubbish again (don't worry we will be re training her so we don't keep having these problems!!) It's been fairly uneventful our end, no exciting trips or adventures. Just the usual going for walks, Saffy going training, Honey eating things she shouldn't daily including part of mum's new...... yes new.... tax disc!!!! Mum was quite embarrassed when she had to go to the police & ask if it was still legal or if she needed a replacement I can tell you!!! We are leaving a selection of summer berries (yum!!) cream to go with them (extra thick double cream no less) & various meat products to barbecue (your choice, personally I prefer the lamb kebab!) Enjoy Holly, Saffy & Honey
Hi Laddie, it is my birthday today & guess what, I am at the vets along with Whisky, one of our cats, I have left you a slice of my cake & given Mum my messages to send to my friends, as I will be on the vet's table along with Whisky, paws crossed we both have nice dreams. I know my Mum is anxious, with the phone besides her, but hopefully they will sort out my limp & Whisky's bad tooth, as we are both a bit uncomfortable. She is taking this opportunity to wash all my water bowls in the dishwasher & wash our bedding, just hope she doesn't forget to cook the chicken for our homecoming. Enjoy your cake, & when I am better, it will be a good excuse to have another
