Hi Meg. how are you today? great to see you. not much happening here today as the humans had to go to a funeral. mum forgot to shut the doggie door, so I had the run of the yard. I was very good and did not go anywhere. mum gave me a treat for being a good girl, because she was so worried. mouse in the house is still on the run. traps have failed miserably so far. treat today is lamb shanks. take care, have a good day. love Tess & Buster. ♥♥♥
Hi Meg, WOW....WOW...and more WOWs.....the weekend was marked by an absolutely sensational event.....a truly incredible result.....Drum Roll.......Another Drum Roll......And Another Drum Roll......No, not the rugby, even more incredible than that.......yes indeedy, Purdey didn't get to roll in anything stinky because we managed to stop her! She spotted something on our walk, something which would have been, invariably, very smelly and would also have been very unpleasant stuck to her neck and back!!! We think that, in a previous life, it had been a duck's dinner. Fortunately, Purdey was still on the lead so her loveliness (Mrs Davidmh not Sarika, not to say that Sarika isn't lovely, in fact she is very lovely) managed to pull her to her feet as she started to drop....EXCELLENT....Our first victory over the POOMONSTER which makes the score very much closer...Us 1 - Purdey 237. And now our walk....WE MET UP WITH SOME OTHER DOGGYSNAPPERS for the first time. It was brilliant because they all turned out to be great fun and really lovely and the doggies turned out to be even more gorgeous in real life than they are on here. Roll on the next meeting. And finally it will not come as a surprise to anyone that today the girls and doberdog are dropping off a portion of recycled duck's dinner to roll in...Purdey cannot have it(TeeHee), Sarika is far too much of a Laydee for such things and Max is asleep. PS Oh yes, it is of course DDDD35 (David's Dreadful Diet Day 35), gosh, 5 weeks now and weigh day tomorrow, I don't "feel" any lighter this week so we will see. Have fun x
Ok my friends comming back and thinking in a new fantastic adventure to continue having fun with my old and real friends, I was thinking to close my kennel but you guys gave me reasons to continue walking together, so lets do it........ Love Phoenix and the angels.... P.D.: Soon another exciting and unforgetable adventure
Hi Meg, a quick visit from the girls and doberdog to deliver a virtual bottle of canine "pop" to you and from me to wish you and your humans a wonderful New Year. Have fun.
Hello Meg, I had a nightmare last night, woke up in a real sweaty terror.....Why?..... because I could see it approaching, getting nearer, getting nearer........the dreaded "D" word......DIET. Oh no. What I want to know is why christmas cake + christmas pudding + mince pies (OK, all slightly in excess, he lied) = me (David) ending up doing a Mr Blobby impersonation. It is so unfair. The lithe supermodels and old doberdog have offered to help but they cannot, because it is all MINE. The question to ponder is whether I will finish the goodies or explode first! Hmmm! Anyway the girls and dobes are sending you some of their dog food as a treat, oh alright then, with a chilli sausage as a topping - could be fun tomorrow!!! Enjoy. PS I haven't started on the chocolates yet!!
Hello my friend, how are you today? it is so nice to see you again. we have come for a visit and to share some turkey necks with you. love Tess & Buster ♥♥♥

Hello friend, sorry I've been away so long, my mum hasn't been well. I'm still plodding along, with the occasional energy spurt to prove there's still life in this old girl yet! A couple of days ago my mum was walking me and started going in the wrong direction (she saw a big truck on the grass). I didn't see the truck so thought she was just being stupid, so the border collie in me kicked in and I tried to herd her back in the right direction. Here's some apple pie and custard.
hi my lovely friend well its a horrible day here lots of my friends parents has given some great tips to get me out in the garden but you see im a funny little sod and treats dont work with me mum carries me in the garden and she stands behind the blinds watching me just incase any strangers are about also this morning she put my anorak on and when we got over the fields i just sat on the ground i would not move so i was carried home so you see i am a big wimp she also pretends a rabbit is in the garden well i dont fall for that one either dad said send him to dog borstal but mum said i would end up with that bossy man whos strict and she would end up punching him if he was nasty to me hehe i would love to see that but she loves me so much and can put up with my baby ways well at the moment im sulking in the chair screwed up in a little ball with one eye open so mums sending you some apple crumble over lots of love teddy xxxxx
We had a good day today. it was nice and sunny. Spent some time in the yard while dad mowed. we have not had to mow for months. Mum spent some time with Buster and Tammy today.. Tammy was home from school because she has badly torn the ligament in her finger. she said it is very sore. The doctor put a finger splint on it.
So good to spend some time with you my friend. Treat today is a lamb shank. have a great and a safe day. love Tess & Buster ♥♥♥
MEG!!!!!! I am sorry I haven't talked to you in such a long time.... my mom's computer crashed (it wasn't me) and she has been having a fit trying to get it going again.... I am really enjoying my new home in the country.... I am even getting used to the funny looking dogs called sheep (they sure do bark weird)..... and I still haven't figured out those really big dalmations (Mom calls them cows, I really don't think that is such a nice thing to call anyone) I have never ever seen such big dogs before.... they aren't very nice either..... Well, time for a snack... I am leaving you a nice big bowl of spaghetti with meatballs..... xoxoxo.... talk to you later Raisin
Hi Meg!!!! Boy has it been a crazy week. The cats didn't put up too much fuss in the crates, I am so glad, cause I would have had to listen to them the whole time. We are finally moved in and almost unpacked. I have only been able to find half of my toys, but I have been looking in every box, I am sure I will find them all. There are a bunch of funny looking dogs across the road from me, a new breed mom calls "Sheep", never heard of them before, and they sure do look and sound funny. Next door there are some really big dalmations, they also sound funny, mom says they are called "Cows". Oh well, dogs sure do look funny in the country. I have been wanting to go meet the funny looking dogs, but mom won't let me. Well, I guess I had better go... leaving you a nice juicey hamburger and french fries.....xoxoxo... Raisin
Hi Meg, I wont tell anyone about youre swimming secret - its safe with me. I've had a busy couple of days what with builders, mega long walks and being on rat alert. I'm very pleased with my patio doors (which were fitted yesterday) but keep having to be reminded that I can get out in the garden that way, I'm in the habit of racing to my dog flap which is now confusingly shut. We went out for a very long walk today and I caught sight of a duck leading her 6 babies up the side of the lane. Mum got in to the middle of the road to stop a car and escort them across to the stream on the other side. Annoyingly I was scooped up under her arm, so I couldn't help. Towards the end of our adventure it started to thunder, which I dont like, but we got home before the rain. Thanks for the garlic chicken, sending you some braised venison with new potatoes and rosewater icecream (Mums been watching Masterchef), love & wags Rosie xxx
Hi Meg. Well what a week that was. One moment I was going to be a King and then I am back to being a domestic servant to three canines! It is a long story featuring broken teeth, crowns, royalty, an abdication and, primarily, an over active imagination. Hey Ho. Down to the serious business - the girls and His Baldy of Baldiness are sending you a treat (courtesy of Barkingham Palace), sirloin steak today. Enjoy.
