Hi Martina, thanks for your answer it helped a lot. I can understand Pounder more now knowing that they all act in the same way. What Pounder has is on the front of his chest and scratches a lot. He lost most of his front fur in the process. I think it's getting a bit better but the heat is not helping him. I can't understand how he lays in the sun with all that fur, guess he takes after me : ) When he sees us preparing to wash him he tries to hid, he is so intelligent. I will keep you informed on his progress and give you the name of the stuff we are using to help him, give Dougal a hug and a kiss from all of us xxx

Hi, thanks for answering, yes we are having skin problems at the moment, and to add to his problem we have a very hot summer in Malta right now and I guess it makes it worse. We are giving him expensive pills and a special medicated shampoo to help. The vet told us that these dogs all suffer from skin problems and they can be managed but never totally cured. Pounder even had an operation in his eyes to stop the inverted eye lids from blinding him. Another problem is that he hates strangers and gets very agitated when someone comes over and has to be removed for safety. He ws not like this before. He loves me and my partner to bits and would never be agressive towards us, I can even kiss his nose, but would not trust him near anyone. Any suggestions about this behaviour? Hi Martina, I have added you to my friends list. I love sharpeis too although I don't own one I love them because of the wrinkles. Its just too cute. Well how are you both? I come on to talk to my friends but I might not be visting for a while as I have been reciving nasty coments. I come back on everyday and write to at least 3 of my friends.
