Hi Tyler, how are you? We have had a lot of rain here over the weekend and the tracks have turned into muddy streams. Now I was never a Boy Scout but I remember their motto "Be Prepared", so I have decided it is time to build a boat, just in case we get more floods. I was going to call it an ARK but then I thought "No er, someone has already done that". So I have decided to call it a BARK. Not BARK as in sailing ship but BARK as in WOOF. In fact, on reflection, I shall call it a WOOF.... DAVID'S WOOF.......that has got a nice ring about it, don't you think? Anyway, it is for doggies only so let me know if you would like to reserve a place on DAVID'S WOOF, reasonable rates. Yesterday I made some thai fishcakes which were yummy so the girls, doberdog and I are sending some over with sweet chilli sauce. Got to go now because there are people at the door, OOH ER it is the men in white coats!! Have fun x

Hi Tyler, how are you today? A quick visit from us because I've got a new camera, the sun is shining and the supermodels, Sarika and Purdey, are ready to pose. I am very pleased to say that Mrs Davidmh seems to have forgiven me, I was allowed in the house last night, albeit only the kitchen. All because of my plan to recycle dogs hair into hair pieces for slap heads (ie me and Max). As some have probably guessed, she hadn't heard the word "virtual" when I explained about the numerous tons of hair that the wonderful DoggySnappers were sending over. Phew. BUT I THINK I MIGHT HAVE A REAL PROBLEM NOW because this morning the postman actually delivered a parcel of dog hair (black and white). OOPS. I think I might be up-that-creek I cannot mention without a paddle. Today the doggies are delivering a paddle to you so I know where one is if I end up up-that-creek I cannot mention and they are also delivering a baked potato with Thai green prawn curry and spinach, because that is what I ate last night and it was yummy. Which also explains why my diet restarts next week! Enjoy x

Hi tyler, THE GOOD NEWS, it is DDDD65 (David's Dreadful Diet Day 65) and yesterday was weigh day...guess what, 1 stone 2 lb gone now. I am very chuffed because I did scoff a lot of really yummy stuff at the wedding on Saturday. I guess that the excess has gone because it has got jolly cold here and I have exercised and shivered it off. Turning off the central heating and keeping all the windows open was clearly one of my better ideas although I am not convinced that Mrs Davidmh agrees, it is the first time she has ever had a bath while wearing gloves and a hat!!! Ho Ho (only joking but what a very good idea...Hmmmmm...!). And now the doggies: well, they are all blooming, the girls are getting plenty of exercise and Max is slowly increasing his awake hours. THE UGH NEWS, speaking of Max, he had an "accident" of the "dumping" type in the kitchen yesterday; guess who cleared it up? It wasn't him, it wasn't me or the begloved and behatted wife and, of course, it wasn't the princessliness Sarika. Purdey cleared it up, if you know what I mean! As a result the Poomonster will not be kissing me in the near future! THE TREAT NEWS, I made a thai red prawn curry for Mrs Davidmh yesterday and there is some left over so the girls and doberdog are dropping that off with some sticky rice. Enjoy x

Hi tyler, it is Valentine's Day. Today Sarika, also known as the Ladyee of Lurve, Purdey, also known as the Poomonster, Maxwell Doberdog, also known as the Sleeping Baldy, and their Human (me.....also known as A Bit Slimmer - 12lb off now!) are sending you all - doggies and human slaves - a virtual Valentine card, with all our love x

Hi Tyler,,...today's question...is supermodel status going to Sarika's head? Not only does she, like her "sister", now refuse to get out of bed for less than $10,000 a day but the Laydee of the Month of Lurve rather disgraced herself yesterday. Bear in mind that she is an Hungarian princess - first we had a quite distinct BURP followed shortly afterwards by a very audible BOTTOM BURP - in fact it was so loud she frightened herself and scarpered! It did make me laugh though and for a moment there I thought I was back in my old rugby club!!!! Purdey has always been rather basic (or is the required word normal?) but Sarika, the princess, her ladyship, her most graciousness, has always been rather above such elemental things. The bottom burp was actually fragrant, in fact quite clearly perfumed, so I guess she redeemed herself a tad. Maxwell Doberdog was of course oblivious to it all, being asleep - even the noise did not disturb him. Today the girls and dobes are therefore dropping off some "just in case" treats - earplugs, a cork and a noseclip. Oh yes, they will also chuck in some food because dieting David (ie me) is still fantasizing and therefore I need to mention some yummies - this time it is a fillet steak, rare, with chips and peas and mushrooms and an onion and tomato salad and lots of English mustard and, of course, a cherry bakewell tart again (still dreaming!) and custard, lots of custard! MMMMMMMMMMMM. Have fun x

Hi Tyler, ...a RANT AND A LAUGH TODAY. First the RANT.....What is it about some cyclists? On our walk this morning I saw a cyclist coming down the footpath. I called Sarika and Purdey (Max was still asleep), they came to me, and, with them, I stood off the edge of the path in a field which had young corn growing. Whereupon, as he came by, I got a load of abuse from the cyclist about standing on the crop etc. I pointed out that I had collected the dogs and got them out of his way despite me, as a pedestrian, having right of way over him on the path. It had been clear that he wasn't going to stop. He said not to worry about the dogs because if they came anywhere near him he would kick them out of the way. It is probably not advisable to put my next words and thoughts in writing!!!!,.....And now a LAUGH......We found Sarika and Purdey stuck to the fridge this morning, the little sods had been at the fridge magnets so I guess it served them right! It made walking quite entertaining when we got near things metal. Only joking! Today's treat from the girls and doberdog is a no-go area for difficult cyclists and a fridge magnet (recycled!). Have fun x

Hi Tyler, WOW....WOW...and more WOWs.....the weekend was marked by an absolutely sensational event.....a truly incredible result.....Drum Roll.......Another Drum Roll......And Another Drum Roll......No, not the rugby, even more incredible than that.......yes indeedy, Purdey didn't get to roll in anything stinky because we managed to stop her! She spotted something on our walk, something which would have been, invariably, very smelly and would also have been very unpleasant stuck to her neck and back!!! We think that, in a previous life, it had been a duck's dinner. Fortunately, Purdey was still on the lead so her loveliness (Mrs Davidmh not Sarika, not to say that Sarika isn't lovely, in fact she is very lovely) managed to pull her to her feet as she started to drop....EXCELLENT....Our first victory over the POOMONSTER which makes the score very much closer...Us 1 - Purdey 237. And now our walk....WE MET UP WITH SOME OTHER DOGGYSNAPPERS for the first time. It was brilliant because they all turned out to be great fun and really lovely and the doggies turned out to be even more gorgeous in real life than they are on here. Roll on the next meeting. And finally it will not come as a surprise to anyone that today the girls and doberdog are dropping off a portion of recycled duck's dinner to roll in...Purdey cannot have it(TeeHee), Sarika is far too much of a Laydee for such things and Max is asleep. PS Oh yes, it is of course DDDD35 (David's Dreadful Diet Day 35), gosh, 5 weeks now and weigh day tomorrow, I don't "feel" any lighter this week so we will see. Have fun x

Hi Tyler, only had about 5 minutes for DoggySnaps yesterday as I had appointments with several Ms - not Maltesers unfortunately but Motorways, the M3, the M25 and the M23. Today's visit is about SARIKA who, as some will know, was yesterday announced as winner of the Humansnaps Laydee of the Month award for February, the Month of Lurve. I was really pleased and not a little proud and I just wanted to say thank you to all those who voted for her gorgeousness and also I wanted to compliment all the other lovely dogs who were nominated. In celebration we partied long into the night, apart from the other supermodel, Purdey, who was in disgrace, having again rolled in something that was both unmentionable and of uncertain origin but was, being typical Purdey, very smelly. Today the girls, the Laydee of the Month and Purdey (newly refragantised - nice make up word that), are delivering kisses to absolutely everyone and Max is delivering handshakes xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Oh yes, it is also DDDD30 (David's Dreadful Diet Day 30) and it was weigh day yesterday......10lbs gone now. I was chuffed about that too but not nearly as much as about my beautiful Sarika x
