Please sign this petition and send it to everyone you know. Dublin council have banned 10 breeds of dogs in their houses and estates including dobes, shepherds etc. Any dogs not re-homed will be destroyed. If they get away with it, it can happen over here!! I know exactly how you feel. My dobe Lottie had a similar story, and I have just lost her after only one year. I would not swap one second of that year, despite the terrible grief I am feeling. Lottie knew she was home the minute she walked through the door, and had a year of knowing she was loved and she belonged. It was a privilege being her family. A tribute left for Duke.

we too had a boy from someone who wanted a new home for him, when he was one, we had him for four years until we lost him to kidney failure, such a short time, but like you we wouldn't have missed those wonderful years. Duke was such a handsome boy and I know he will have enriched your lives just as you enriched his. please accept a tribute for a beautiful boy. xxx
