Afternoon Kasie. Hope all is well where you are. It is another beautiful day here. I had a long wander with mum this morning and had a whale of a time. All the leaves are falling off the trees and they are great for snuffling about in. Hehe! I took my Blue Bear with me, and a lady stopped me to ask me if I was taking MY doggy for a walk! Hi Kasie, how are you? SHOCK HORROR SENSATIONAL NEWS........ the doggies are all very well but one of them (GUESS WHO?) is in David’s bad books. Did I ever tell you that Purdey can do the “backstroke”...seemingly for a laugh she will travel around in the house on her back, pushing herself along with her hind legs. She really is a clown. Anyway, after being NAMED and SHAMED I thought that she would turn over a new leaf on the poo subject. Well she sort of did........she actually rolled on a leaf yesterday..........unfortunately the leaf was underneath a pile of very fresh deer poo. My heart sank when having rolled she then decided to do the “backstroke” on the poo too. And then this person came along and said...”she is covered in it” (I think that was the word).....”thank you” said I. GRRRRRRRRRRR. She has now decided to be a guard dog although her kennel picture is causing me some concern on that subject too. Anyway, today we are sending over a royal wave from the princess, sweet dreams from dobes and, you guessed it, a leaf from Purdey. Have fun x. PS I would handle the leaf with care!

Cooeeee….. bet you didn’t expect us eh? Apologies for the absence, but our PA has been rather busy and we’ve been trying to pin her down so we can visit our mates. Well now we are here, how are you? Sick of this wet stuff yet? I know we are! Well not a great deal has been happening in our lives, actually that’s not true, we met our Granddad over the bank holiday, he was visiting from Ireland and we were very good, I was his favourite and he kept calling Heidi an ugly greyhound which mummy disputed and told her she was beautiful. Heidi and I also got new beds and they are really comfy and snuggley, Ruby has been nicknamed Goldilocks as she keeps trying them out and falling asleep in them, the cheeky little madam. Ruby goes to training classes on Sundays now and apparently she’s doing really well, humpf, not as good as me tho! he he he, anyway we are leaving you full roast, pork today with crackling hope you enjoy! Afternoon Kasie. Hope you are well today. It's a very wet and very miserable day here. Mum said she has never known rain like it. It briefly stopped this morning, so off mum and I went on our hike. I was very reluctant to go as I knew we would get drenched. Sure enough, we got half way round and the rain started again. Mum and I were soaked! Everywhere is flooded, and the building work going on in my park is a total washout! There are rivers of water and mud flowing everywhere! The workmen will not be happy on Monday morning! Hehe! Afternoon Kasie. Hope all is well where you are. It's another lovely day here today. Mum has spent the morning washing and repairing all my cuddly toys - under my strict supervision of course. As soon as she had repaired one, I took it off her and gave it a good shake to see if it met my standards. I got a shock though, when she said it was about time some of the older ones went into the bin! How very dare she! Hi KC, Hope your weekend is going well. It's been raining here but is starting to clear so we are of out soon. I (Milo) got absolutely filthy and very smelly yesterday so Mum says we will go on a different walk today (spoilsport!). Still not to worry. A walk's, a walk! Think the little people are coming over later and they are always good for a few tidbits so will save you some. Mum's on a health kick at the moment so sending an apple, orange and pineapple smoothie for you. Love Milo and Roly x

Hi KC, Hope the garden party didn't turn into a pool party!!! Don't envy your Mum and Dad tonight. We are tucked up nice and warm and dry in front of the computer thank you very much! Paws crossed it's better by the morning both for your trip out to the Dogs Trust and for our DS walk. Trevor and the gang (Jackymac) and Jasper (jayne1) are hopefully coming over. Hello Everyone, Sorry we haven't been "on line " lately it is because we are all out and about doing exciting summery things ! Ha Ha . No so today though as we have had our wettest walk ever in August ...it IS August isn't it ? Actually Buffs and Erin were in their glory and thought it was wonderful , even had 2 swims to get even wetter if that were possible . Bertie was fine until the rain totally waterlogged his ears , a good job we were heading for home at this point . We are all now steaming nicely in front of the wood burner ( Yes she HAS lit it in August ! ) along with the coats boots and a million dog towels .Oh she does exaggerate ! Anyway have a lovely weekend , big hugs and love from Buffy Erin and Bertie , xxx sausages and chips all round with cheese on top yum .xxx

Afternoon Kasie. Hope you are well today. It's a weird day here, weather wise. Mum did a load of washing this morning and pegged it out! Got indoors and the Heavens opened. About a half hour later, beautiful blue sky, so out the washing went again, only for it to start raining - again!! Mum brought it back in and shouted something French at the sky. Hehe! Phew what a hot one eh Kasie? Hope you are managing to stay cool in this heat. Our humans put the gazebo up at the back of the house so nearly all the deck is now in shade, bliss. The pool is out also so we have no excuse of staying cool, well except Vester who only uses the pool to drink! Vest got his ear results back and his got a overgrowth of yeast so is back on ear drops, he is such a wuss tho, mummy only has to touch the bottle and he runs off into the cage he he he. Anyway dropping off some BBQ kebabs with some cool ice cream for afters, off to lay in the shade again, see you soon, luv & licks Heidi, Ruby & Vester xxxxxx

Hi Kasie. It is soooooooooo hot here I think Roly has melted! He's been laying in the same spot by the front door all day trying to stay cool. Mum has put a stairgate across the door so we can leave it open to try to get some air through the house but it's still pretty uncomfortable. Needless to say we will not be going on any walks until tonight when hopefully it will be a bit cooler. So we might get to see the nightjars again.
